Sunny Mellow Eco Villa

4 sites · Lodging8 acres · Tijeras, NM
Sunny Mellow Eco Villa is the land with a great history. The QUIET, secret Shangra-La Valley just over the ridge from Route 66 (and I-40) was the camping place for Billy the Kid and his gang! They could quickly saddle up when the posted lookout on the ridge above signaled the passing of the stagecoach! Even more stunning, it was the Tijeras Indian Pueblo Tribe's place of roaming and rest. The land now sports an Organic Vineyard, Orchard and Vegetable Garden that guests my forage from when in bloom. A Large, Clean, Secluded Redwood Yoga Deck, Ping-Pong, Horseshoes, and a Giant Swing Set, along with patios and lounges that are found over the 8 acre land, and all joined by a network of Scenic Pathways and Bridges that connect The Vineyard, The Orchard, The Garden, The Solar Array, The Swing, The Yoga Deck, Ping Pong Terrace, Horse shoe Pit... Perfect Place and Feel The Akashic Records of Where Billy the Kid and his gang camped and the Tijeras Indians Lived! 8 Minutes to Albuquerque. 7 minutes to Cedar Crest, 20 minutes to The Infinite View off the Sandia Crest, 10 minutes to Edgewood. 50 minutes to Santa Fe. NO. 10 RANCH

5 sites · Lodging40 acres · Estancia, NM
This cabin sits on a ranch that's been in this breathtaking valley for generations. There are six other amazing cabins spread throughout the 40 acres. We are only 14 miles from Manzano Mountains and about 31 miles from Salinas Pueblo Missions National Park. This particular cabin was once a pig barn and this ranch was once a fully operational ranch that served its owners and community so well. Wide open fields with grass that sways in the gentle breeze, pinon a cedar trees that provide cover to the deer that graze and bed down across the property and some of the most stunning views come together to create an experience that will stick with you an entire lifetime. 4WD is recommended to reach the cabin safely. We purchased this ranch in the winter of 2021 and are just so grateful for the chance to love and care for it...and share it with YOU! Provided there are not fire bans, enjoy snugging up to a warm campfire.

The Sherwood Escape

1 site · RV, Tent1 acre · Torreon, NM
Welcome to The Sherwood Escape, located in Sherwood Forest a residential subdivision created in the 1970's and nestled in the foot hills of the breath taking Manzano Mountains. This property boasts privacy as it is in a private subdivision where only land owners are allowed. This particular parcel is 1.36 acres in size. In 2008 the Trigo fire affected the parcel, but since then it has bloomed back beautifully with gamble oak tress and some juniper as well. The entrance of the subdivision is adjacent to the impeccably beautiful, scenic and notorious 4th of July Trail which is great for UTV's and dirt bikes as well as being in short distance of multiple trail heads. At the bottom of the road is the land grant of Torreon, and a few miles in each direction are more land grants and historic Spanish settlements, those being Tajique, Manzano, and Punta de auga. Highway 55 in which these settlements lay is also known as the Scenic Byway for the Salt Mission Trail. Multiple Ruins from the Spanish Salinas Pueblo Missions are within 10-20 mins from the campsite depending on which one is visited. There is Quarai located in Punta de Augua which is about 10 mins from the property, keep going another 10 mins into the also historic town of Mountainair which has a local market, Dollar General, dining locations and other things to see including the historic and haunted Shaffer Hotel. Mountainair is located where Highway 55 and 60 meet, and just a few minutes down highway 60 you will find the next ruin, Abo. Come and camp or bring your r/v to this vacant lot and enjoy what the Manzano Mountains have to offer. *DISCLAIMER* By agreeing to use this campsite anyone and all hereby waive, release and forever discharge Zachary Davis, its affiliates, managers, members, agents, attorneys, employees, staff, volunteers, heirs, executors, administrators, representatives, predecessors, successors and assigns from any claims resulting from physical or personal injury, pain, suffering, illness, disfigurement, temporary or permanent disability, loss or death, and any property damage that may occur caused by fire, theft, vandalism, water or land-related accidents, natural events or any other occurrences or mishaps.
