The Hot water is limited because this is a cabin in the woods with its own Hot water tank. It is not hooked up to a Municipal water supply system with unlimited Hot water. You need to let the water Heat up again in the Tank for more hot water if multiple people are taking showers around the same time. During or right after a NorthEast Tropical Storm or Severe weather the power can go out. It will go back on !! Take advantage of the many Candles, Lantern and Board Games to play! Grind up some fresh Starbucks Reserve Coffee Beans. Condiments and Spices are also included. The cabin has its own Underground water well that goes 180 ft below the ground to pump up fresh, clean, Naturally purified chemical free Spring catskill water. Your hair and skin will feel soft and clean. You DO NOT NEED to BUY Bottle WATER. Save our environment and dont BUY plastic water bottles. Just let the water Run for a minute so it is nice and cold. Relax, Release, and Enjoy!! The stream water going across the driveway is safe for your dog to drink. My dogs drink it all the time. It is filled with crawfish, frogs, minnows and salamanders.

Dog Friendly and Fully Fenced!! This rustic 600 square-foot cabin with a semi-private bedroom and a fold-out couch can comfortably sleep up to 4 adults. The bathroom and kitchen both have modern amenities. There's a wood stove but also electric heat and AC and hot water. Huge sliding glass doors open up to a wrap-around porch. No TV, but Wifi. There is an electric coffee pot, a French Press and a Nespresso. It sits on 5 wooded acres and nearly a full acre of cleared land is fenced, making it safe for dogs to run off leash. The house sits within the fenced in acre so you can conveniently open the doors and let your dogs run free. There is one visible house across the street from the front of the cabin but it feels very private in the back of the house. There is a firepit. There are two outbuildings onsite that are not available for rent at this time. The cabin is 20 mins from Minnewaska State Park and Mohonk Mountain House, and 35 mins from Kingston, New Paltz, Gardiner, Phonecia and Woodstock. Local restaurants of note include Mill and Main, Roughcut Brewing, Westwind Orchard, Arrowood Farms, and Harana. We live in the chalet next door where we offer small group fitness classes most days of the week. Ask us for more info if you're interested.

Nestled outside the village of Stillwater, NJ right across the Appalachian trail and the Kittatinny Mountain Ridge, Camp David sports three luxurious log cabins: > Bell's Cabin- Main cabin that sleeps up to six > The Chatham House- Sleeps up to ten > Chief's Cottage- sleeps up to ten All cabins have their own separate listing and can be booked together or combined. The main cabin, Belle's Cabin, is made from hand hewed logs and is the only cabin furnished with a king size bed. All cabins come equipped with full bathrooms, updated kitchens, wood stoves, and the main cabin has a walkout porch on the second floor. All cabins have climate controlled heating/cooling units as well as hot water. Camp David was originally a German hunting camp at the turn of the 20th century. It was later donated to the Boy Scouts in the 1940’s. By the 2000’s, it was left abandoned at which time I purchased it and began to restore it back to its true form while maintaining the cabin life integrity. I am a contractor and arborist by trade and the last ten years I have worked hard to bring the site back to life. The camp consists of 13 acres abutted by 100's of acres of state park land. There are two stocked ponds connected by a cascading stream, multiple fire pits with seating, furnished gazebo with wood stove, picnic tables, and multiple park benches located throughout the property. We had such a peaceful and restorative stay here. The campsite, the cabin, all of the amenities, the trails, etc. are beautifully designed with a lot of thoughtful touches. It feels very special and welcoming! The kitchen setup, the outdoor shower, and the fire pit with Adirondack chairs definitely elevated the camping experience. Our dogs had a great time exploring the woods, and we felt very comfortable letting them roam around with us. Last thing I'll gush about: the ever-present sound of the creek is unbelievably soothing. Highly recommend this site if you want a place to disconnect and unwind in nature...with a convenience store a short drive away :-)

This was my second time at Queens Cabin with my lil 4 month old Pomeranian puppy Rosie. The cabin has everything we needed to enjoy some time away from Manhattan. It has Wifi so I am able to do some work. Rosie loved playing on the fenced in deck. I added on the Dog Assessment and training for Rosie. Sara was super helpful with trouble shooting some of Rosie’s basic training issues. I highly recommend booking a training session with her. I looking forward to hopefully visiting again!

We had a lovely trip to Journey’s End! We typically tent camp but found this cabin to be a perfect fit for our annual camping trip! It was close to hiking and white water rafting (within an hour), and had the perfect vibe for our evenings at the site. The land was gorgeous. Bathrooms were clean and well maintained. Will definitely stay again if we are in the area- thank you for the lovely getaway!

We had a great weekend in the chief’s cabin as a group of four. It truly could not have been any nicer and still be considered a cabin. The furniture and construction gives the cabin a great smell that reminds you you’re in the woods even as you’re soaking in a copper tub and surrounded by air conditioning. The site features multiple large fire pits and a full stock of wood and kindling for burning. We visited crater lake but be prepared for an almost 40 minute drive despite it being only a mile away by hiking trail. Dave is a kind and well informed host and we felt completely safe, comfortable, and secluded at his property.

I was looking for a nice relaxing spot to escape NYC with my dog and this was it. Had everything you need. Fenced in land was a huge plus and the general dog friendliness. Nice sized cabins will all amenities (except microwave) and a cozy bedroom with big barn doors. Really enjoyed being undisturbed and “rustic” but with all the stuff I needed. Would def recommend.

This was our first time to Majestic Farm and to the Catskills. It is quite beautiful. We stayed in the Orchard tiny house. For the two of us, it was comfortable. The house is a little further from the kitchen, john and shower but all were quite adequate. Unfortunately it rained the whole time we were there so we didn't get to explore the farm as much as we would have liked to. I'm sure at apple picking time, it would be fabulous! The four dogs and 2 peacocks (maybe 3) greeted us when we drove in. Our dogs met and got along with them perfectly. It is rustic but comfortable.

This place was amazing my husband and our dog had such a great time!!. This place makes you feel like time has stoped. Local places to get things you might need. The swimming hole our dog enjoyed it so much and we loved the view. During the night time it gets really dark only suggestion is bring flash lights it worked out great for us. Making plans to come back with friends and family since is specious enough to have more people. FIRE PIT was awesome 👏🏽 Jeremy & Josh responded at a timely matter and the communication was great book!!

Such a wonderful cabin, it had everything we could have needed. I have a very large dog (Newfoundland/Great Pyrenees) and I was worried that the fence would not be secure enough for him but it totally was!! Even when there were deer on the other side! Such a treat to be able to let him run around and for me to be able to just hang out and be clean and feeling like I was camping but also so comfortable! I absolutely recommend.

The property is adorable and has exactly everything you need for a weekend away. Masen is very welcoming and showed us how everything works and responded to additional questions very quickly. The wood fired hot tub is amazing you simply have to get the unlimited firewood bundle. The tiki torch package is also super worth it. Placing them all around the site just makes the campsite 10X cozier. The record selection was also fantastic and we had so much fun listening inside and outside. My dog also loved it and said it gets 5 stars from him. 10/10 would stay again.

Weekend Trip to The Record Room
Masen's property was an amazing place to stay. The cabin is just perfect -- impressive craftsmanship, great use of space, and cozy enough for our family of 5. The records were fantastic, and porch speakers let you hear the music outside. The hot tub was so much fun to use (definitely get the firewood package when you book). The kids loved exploring the property, searching for fairy houses (and building some of their own). The outhouse was adorable! My kids hate using pit toilets but had no issues with this outhouse - it was lovely inside. Masen was a wonderful host, and provided everything we needed (water, fire starters, torches). We will be back!

From NOFX to Lynyrd Skynyrd, listening to all of the albums on the record player was a dream! While we did go on an excursion to the Catskills, we could have stayed and enjoyed ourselves foreverrrr. Not only does the nature and cabin provide the most amazing backdrop for a getaway, but the Rio Dam, Hawks Nest Lookout, and Point Jarvis attractions are minutes away! Our two dogs LOVED the privacy of the spot, and we loved the outdoor kitchen, hot tub, and that bed was soooooo comfy! With the added perks of endless firewood and tiki lights, our stay on Masen's land was truly magical! Thank you for taking such good care of us!!

Paradise Valley Homestead

Always working on improvements! My second glamping site "The Medieval Encampment", is available for booking starting April 1st of 2025. I will have more pictures soon. In April of 2024, my long awaited 1st Glamping site was available for booking. It's been very popular! Please read the description carefully of the "Gypsy Rose Vardo", to see if it's the right fit for you. I also have 10 large camping sites available on our 33 acre property located in Northwest NJ. Sites 1 through 4 are on mowed, fairly level fields and are large enough for campers or RV's up to 30ft, or a couple of tents, and sites 5 and 6 are further back in the woods, available only for a few small tents, sites 7 through 10 are much further into the property and are only accessible with a high clearance AWD or 4WD SUV or you can park and hike your gear in. There are 3 compost toilet outhouses spread out through the property, so it's an easy walking distance from any site. Although we are only 2 1/2 miles from a main highway, the last 2 miles are on a dirt road with no houses. We are surrounded by protected land, so no neighbors and lots of wildlife, including the occasional bear, coyote or raccoon. Keep all food items secured. Because we are surrounded by protected land we are not sprayed for insects, so be safe and do tick checks often and bring the bug spray. We are 45 minutes from NYC or the Delaware Water Gap and an hour away from the NJ shore. There are horse farms nearby that offer trail rides. We are also close to the Highland and Appalachian Hiking trails. There are two reservoirs within a 20-minute drive for canoeing or kayaking. There are walking trails through our property, including a ten-minute hike on a marked trail to a small waterfall in a ravine.

We have 40 acres with miles of trails through the property. It is located on the hudson valley wine trail so there are tons of wineries to access. We are in the mountains with great climbing, next to a state park. The campsite is on top of a massive boulder that looks out over the grounds with tons of wildlife surrounding. On a dead end road in the middle of the woods with no other houses within sight. ***PLEASE NOTE: BATHROOMS ARE THE SEASON. A little bit about us. This is a small campground. We do have one Glamping site as well as well as a super luxurious pool house available. We rent small retro RV's as well, see our other listings!! There are 40 acres here to explore with small streams, wetlands and forests. We have 4 modern brand new bathrooms with a hot showers in a beautiful new bathhouse with a charging station for phones and tablets. Its pretty amazing!!!!! We do have sulfur water, its great for your skin but smells! Each site usually has a 2 chairs, a table , a grill and a fire ring..... We also offer 3 vintage campers for a unique glamping experience. We have a 1984, a 1975 and a 1966 all with solar electric lighting. Running water is located at the camp store. Take a look at our listings or ask me. I'll tell you all about them. *Please note that use of the pool is available to guests of the pool house only. We also offer hiking excursions. Please book in advance. Our sites are in the middle of the 40 acres of beautiful undeveloped land to explore or just enjoy the quiet. There are no street lights to block the view of the night sky and the fire flies are something to see. We still have all the cool stuff like tons of restaurants, breweries, wineries & vineyards, and farms all around. Boulder Point Camping is centrally located among indoor and outdoor activities, great restaurants, local shops, and antiquing. We are close to loads of hiking trails, state parks, restaurants, creeks, swimming, fishing and more. Sam's Point, Ice Caves Mountain, and Minnewaska State Park just to name a few! In addition there are plenty of microbreweries, wineries, and farms where you can pick your fruit right off the tree (or vine) as the case may be. We are also a few minutes from Angry Orchard, Gardiner Brewing Company, and Baldwin Vineyards and many many others... Dogs welcome with an additional $20 fee. We can accommodate small vans, popups and RVs as well. Check in is at 3 pm Check out is a strict 12 pm unless prior arrangements have been made. The River's Edge campsites sit on the shoreline of the Delaware River at the western edge of New York State overlooking the mountains of Pennsylvania. Our canvas tents and open air platforms perch between the river and the former Delaware & Hudson Canal which was once was used to transport raw goods by barge to New York City via the 'port' of Port Jervis. The remnants of the canal walls are throughout the property including a 300 person theater which we created to both preserve and feature this industrial history. It also makes a great place for an event or a movie night. Today, the original canal towpath, along which barges would be pulled and floated downstream, is a trail that links all of the campsites over 5 acres and at the furthest end an eel fishing camp that is in operation from June to October (say 'hi' to Jim). In the early 1900s, the train replaced the canal as the primary method of moving goods into New York and if you are lucky — you will hear the train rumble by along the river on the Pennsylvania side. There is something spectacular in the absolute still and grandness of the river, the mountains and the ongoing industrial history of the valley. It is a reminder of the way things used to be. The farmhouse and cabins are located opposite the campsites on other side of route 97. Next to them are 50 acres of wild forest to hike and explore. These accommodations are great for guests who want more amenities but still with easy access to river. Pair campsites and cabins so that all your guests have their best experience. Wildlife can be seen and heard all around you. Make sure you download a bird identifier app! A queen temper-pedic bed and super comfy overstuffed futon will assure a good night's slumber. The Record Room's covered outdoor kitchen is designed to extend the awesome vibes into every meal.. (I.E. Flat top grill, single burner and stainless grate grill all powered by propane, cast iron frying pans, and utensils). Our outhouse is designed and maintained by the women of the family, and great pride is taken in making it a favorable experience. Everything that we sell is grown or produced on-site with the intention of nurturing the soil and ecology of the land. From 1939-2020 our family ran a summer sleep-away camp for children on the farm, with an emphasis on caring for each other and the land. Located in a small valley at 1400 feet of elevation, our fields and woods are home to a broad diversity of native plants and animals. Our family has been caring for this land since 1926, but before European colonization it was home to the Lenape people from whom it was forcibly taken. Acknowledging this fact and working to expand awareness of Indigenous cultures and their rights is important to us. While at the farm, besides the amenities listed in each listing, you are welcome to hike or walk around and explore our farm which has many acres of woodland, creeks, springs, a pond, and open fields. A hot day is a great time for a walk along - or in - the creek. A rainy day brings out the Red Efts - beautiful orange newts that are all over the woods when you know where to look. We're always glad to point you in the right direction for a nice walk or a longer hike. You may be able to tag along collecting eggs from the hens or feeding some of the other animals we may have.

Welcome to The Birdhouse near Farmer's Markets, Lakes and swimming holes. This is a great place to gather in a small group and take in the Catskills. 10 min to downtown Livingston Manor + close to lots of amazing hikes! One of my favorite hikes is right down the road and the house is close to Giant Ledge / Panther for a little more exercise. :) You can have a lovely time on the property exploring the meadows and woods. There's even a natural spring 1/2 mile up the road if you want to take some fresh mountain water on your journey. We love enjoying meals on the deck and we are walking distance to rivers, streams and lakes are only a 10 min drive where you can sunbathe on the beach! We're @livingston_manor_birdhouse :). Follow us! Green Stay Linen Policy: At our property, we are committed to sustainability and reducing our environmental impact. To support this effort, we offer a $35 discount on your booking if you choose to participate in our "Bring Your Own Linens" policy. This applies to guests with any length of stay. Simply bring your own sheets, pillowcases, and towels (hand, dish and body), and we’ll pass the savings on to you while reducing our laundry output—it's a win for you and the planet! For one-night stays, which are available exclusively for midweek bookings (please directly request a one night stay by sending me a msg, nights are set to 2 night stay)(Monday through Thursday), participation in our "Bring Your Own Linens" policy is required. The prices for these one-night stays already reflect this policy, meaning no additional discounts will be applied. We appreciate your understanding and your help in making your stay as eco-friendly as possible! We would like to offer a queen sz air mattress and or twin sz kid bed which can easily be set up before your arrival. There is a $20 fee per person/night after 2 people. The house can accommodate 4 people comfortably Pets are welcome on a case by case basis. Feel free to bring up to 2 pets $80 /pet We have a solo one person kayak that you can use ($50/day)- need to sign a safety waiver.
