Wildcat Estate is a Home on 50 private acres located on the edge of the Pocono Mountains with ski trails running along the back of the property and 750 feet of Delaware River access. The Estate is ideally situated to enjoy the rustic advantages of Pennsylvania along with the cultural treats of the Catskills. Food, museums, galleries, shops and sports are at your fingertips, or just sit back and enjoy the Estate in its natural splendor. There is grass feed beef, lamb and pork, free range chickens, fresh eggs, organic veggies and baked goods at farmers markets all around you. Leave the instant food at home. You can walk the historic the Erie train tracks, these are the first tracks laid on the east coast. These tracks transported solders and prisoners during the civil war. Prior to that and to this day they support the building of our country. When you cross them look down, you are crossing history. We have 2 sites available both with river access Site one is river front with room for four tents Sites two is along the river on the far side of the tracks and can accommodate 2 small tents each. These are rustic sites with no amenities other than what nature provides. Site 3 is 300 feet up overlooking the river and Catskill mountains with room for plenty of tents. These are rustic sites with no amenities other than what nature provides. The sites are no frills raw land.

Learn more about this land:This is an ideal spot for a several night stay, off the beaten path but minutes from town with plenty of shopping and restaurants nearby. The space is just off our driveway, along side our horse fence. Additional things to note: This is our personal, farm, and business property. Expect some come and go traffic, our kids playing on the property, and pets roaming. We do our best to respect your privacy but note you’re only about 150 feet from our home and immediate lawn. On Weekdays we have several employees meet here to load landscape equipment and leave for the day. Some noise may be heard at that time (around 8AM Monday - Friday)

Sharing our land with you and providing a space to create memories that will hopefully last a lifetime has been a great joy to us. Thank you for spending time with us and, as always, happy camping. Sarah and Stein * Camp Blackbird is a 28 acre property that runs along Beltzville State Park in Carbon County, PA. So besides the camp, there is an additional 3,002-acres of state park to explore. There are a total of 2 sites. The land was vacant for decades and unfortunately used to dump household garbage during that time. We cleaned up the land, built a home and bat habitat. We, Sarah and Stein, always disliked renting a camp site somewhere and then ending up on top of people. So it was our goal to make space on our land for campers like us that want to be surrounded by nature, not other camp sites. A portion of the proceeds from your stay will be donated to bat habitat conservation and bat sanctuaries around the world. We are grateful for the hundreds of campers that have stayed with us. Thank you to all of you that have left a clean site and not made unnecessary noise that would disturb the countless species that share the forest with us. Also, Thank You for patronizing local businesses while you are here. We'll give you a map so you can see where to take a short walk to get to the lake. There are miles of hiking trails a few minutes walk from your campsite. Beltzville Lake is a great place for paddling. The boat launch is just a few minutes drive from Camp. In addition to the beautiful immediate surroundings, we are centrally located near many exciting destinations. Year round activities at Blue Mountain Resort, adventure on The Appalachian Trail, fine dining, biking the rail trail and whitewater rafting in Jim Thorpe, all within a 25 minute drive. The property is not suitable for parties or events. The area is a QUIET ZONE. Ideal for people looking to unplug from it all and become one with nature. It is teaming with wildlife and is ideal for birding. The hosts mission is to disturb wildlife and its habitats as little as possible. VERY IMPORTANT - NO PARTIES or unregistered guests on the property. There are other campgrounds in the area that are great for people who want to party. We welcome pets. Please add your photos! Especially of your dog camping! Check out the 300+ photos past campers have added. So many of them are dogs camping it up. We, the hosts, live on the property about 700 ft from the campsite. We try to have minimal interactions with the guests to ensure privacy and personal space but we're always reachable.

Nice spot with some great views of the Delaware valley. Old farmstead with fields to saunter in. Level site, big fire pit and lots of space to relax. Goats are great for kids to mingle with. Tons of berry bushes if you’re there in June/July. Easy access off 209 (though you can hear some traffic at night). Waterfront park just down the road. Water Gap is 10 mins away. Driveway is steep, be careful in wet weather. Some poison ivy around if allergic, so be careful in spring. Certainly a place we may revisit in another season.

Stayed at Site 3 for 2 nights. Lovely property with great views no matter what site you have! Site 3 is the furthest site from the house (it was nice being on the end). It was flat enough for multiple tents with room to spare. Bathroom/shower/fire pit access was appreciated and each site is spacious.

We had a good time at this hip camp, the site was right on a hillside overlooking the mountains. Heads up for anyone bringing a camper the entrance is steep & offcamber. The camp spot is on a significant slope so be prepared to level up. Also as stated water and electric are 200ft plus from the closest site. It is a close distance to Jim Thorpe, and Beltzville State Park. Host was communicative and responsive.

My boyfriend and I stayed at Eric’s for a couple of nights and had a lovely time! Campsite was very private, and Eric was very hospitable. We canoed the Delaware River (Eric’s suggestion) and had a lovely time, highly recommend! The dogs were super cute and friendly too. :•) Would love to stay here again!!

Her attentiveness and genuine hospitality made us feel right at home, ensuring we had everything we needed for a comfortable visit. The cabin itself was the epitome of coziness. With its rustic charm and thoughtful amenities, it provided a perfect retreat from the hustle and bustle of daily life. One of the highlights for our children was the opportunity to explore the great outdoors. They spent alot of time playing and exploring the nearby stream, collecting rocks, and observing the local wildlife. The surrounding nature trails offered scenic walks that the whole family enjoyed, providing both adventure and tranquility. Evenings were spent gathered around the fire pit, roasting marshmallows and sharing stories. The peaceful ambiance and the soothing sounds of the stream created a serene environment that allowed us to unwind and connect as a family. This campsite was perfectly located for exploring the Delaware Water Gap! The site itself was pretty private and had a good view. You do get a small amount of road noise but it didn’t bother us. I especially loved being able to visit with the baby goats! While the site feels pretty rural, it is close to East Stroudsberg for groceries or dining.

My friend and I decided to do a very last minute weekend visit to the cabin with no name and Kat was super responsive and helpful. We loved the openness of the space and how it still felt warm and cozy. All the windows let us still feel connected to the surrounding trees while staying warm in the evening. The little decorative objects, books, and items felt like a portrait of the cabin. We both hope to come back again for a longer visit in the future.
