A few concise descriptions: incredibly clean restroom; quiet little piece of land; small lake with good view; beautiful night out; tons of firewood and fire starters just from the trees around; super friendly and approachable land owner. One thing to note is that there is no water provided for the tents sites even though the description said there is. Bring water filters to use the lake water may be a solution. Definitely recommend.

Weekend Trip to That Dome Home RV Site

Janissa’s site had everything we were hoping for and more! This location is minutes from LBI while also offering quiet to hear the birds in the morning, a great fire pit, hammocks and a large fenced in yard perfect for our dog and small children. I highly recommend this site for anyone traveling with a dog and/or kids. Janissa is a very welcoming host who offers great tips for visiting the area. We stopped here on our way to and from Cape Henlopen for just a night each time but we would love to stay again and spend more time exploring the area!

Weekend Trip to Secluded Lakeside Haven @ the Shore

Staying on Robin’s property felt like a dream. Private, beautiful, and serene. The loft is cozy, clean and filled with so many things to do (games, books, puzzles, etc). We enjoyed biking to the Cape May Zoo (private bike path behind the house), exploring the property (there’s SO MUCH to see) and relaxing. It was a rejuvenating trip, and we can’t wait to come back when it’s warmer. Even in the off-season, there is so much to do!

We really enjoyed camping on Timothy’s land. The site was spacious and there was lots to explore. It felt extremely private. Can’t wait to try it out again in the summer! If you’re going to go in the fall/winter, make sure to bring lots of lights with you as it gets extremely dark. Stargazing was incredible here.. we got to see Orion’s Belt & Jupiter! ⭐️

Weekend Trip to Spacious Skies Country Oaks Campground

Nice little cabin for a weekend trip. Has a nice porch and all the basic amenities you need. The campground itself is on the small side but still has a few fun things to do. We liked the jumping pillow and bought a few bags of gems/fossils to sift through.

With their three children, Bobby, Patrick, and Dave, the Benn family left their comfortable home to embrace the charm of West Creek, New Jersey. They opened their doors for the first camping season in 1970, living in a popup camper while transforming the original building into a welcoming store, office, and game room. Over the years, Sea Pirate Campground has expanded significantly, now encompassing over 320 acres of outdoor fun. The acquisition of additional land allowed for the construction of the iconic “B” pool and the relocation of the office to its current spot along Route 9, providing easy access for visitors.
