The great Sandhills of Nebraska are just a little over an hour North to get to. Daryl's place is so nice and comforting. Being on the road and needing somewhere that felt safe was super important and he had exactly what I needed. He came down to say hi to me and the kiddos (dogs) and was so sweet and wanted to know about me and my travels. Would totally stay again if I'm over that way. Also there's a big fishing reservoir near buy!
