Peaceful and quiet surrounded by lots of wildflowers, wildlife, and the pleasant aroma of sagebrush. Parking area is reasonably flat. Remote subdivision on 4500-foot ridge, 10 miles from Columbus exit 408, off of Interstate 90. Your camping spot is near the road for easy access, but the road is private and dead-ends just beyond my property, so traffic is very minimal.
I aim to treat all my guests as if you were a long-time friend. I try to be your personal concierge, so anything you need or want to know, just ask.

We have been blessed with this beautiful property and want to share it with others. We have been operating an Airbnb out of the old barn for 5 years now. The barn was the old feed store in Cody and was moved to this property. Buffalo Bill supposedly bought feed from the store. Lovell is known as the Rose Capitol of Wyoming with the climate being perfect for growing roses. The Pryor Mountain Wild Mustangs are just minutes from our place and we almost always see them out there. Starting summer of 2025 we are excited to be partnering with Tangle Ridge Outfitters out of Greybull Wyoming to offer horse trail rides. Ask for how to contact them to schedule your ride. Cody, only 50 miles to the west is a town loaded with history of the old west and features Cody Nite Rodeo every night of the summer from June 1 through August 30 as well as numerous museums and other attractions. Buffalo Bill Museum of the West will keep you busy for a couple of days if you are a museum buff. Just about everyday in the summer, you are likely to see a gunfight on the street in front of the historic Irma Hotel. There is also Old Trail Town, a recreated old west town. Further to the west just 90 miles from here is the East gate of Yellowstone open from the end of May until first of November. Thermopolis with their giant hot springs is just about 100 miles to the south of us. The Bighorn National Recreation is just minutes from Lovell featuring the 3rd Longest Canyon in the United States with breathtaking views of the Reservoir from Devil's Overlook. Further to the east are the Bighorn Mountains where you can frequently see moose, elk, deer and other wildlife.

Traveling in your RV but don't want a traditional "trailer park"? At the Rafter JB you will be the only trailer here, you will enjoy a large landscaped outdoor space which is shared with an Airbnb rental, but there is plenty of room for privacy. We had an amazing time at Brenda's place. Brenda and John were hospitable and friendly, giving us advice on where to eat. The location was easy to access and the setting was perfect. The pond and the walking path and fire pit area were meticulously maintained. We hooked up to shore power using a 75' power cable, although we didn't need air conditioning. We will definitely return.

Great views, and great host! Justin worked with me when my trip had to be altered due to health and allowed me to flex my stay by a couple days. He’s a fantastic host and will make sure you’re settled and check to see if you need anything.
If you’re there in August, be mindful of the potential for wildfires in the mountains, Justin kept apologizing for the smoke covered mountains, but I absolutely loved it. The light was special as the sun set from the smoke, but I love moody sunsets. I love experiencing the outdoors in all its varying degrees.

Absolutely beautiful place to camp! Our host was so responsive and kind. Easy to follow directions, smooth arrival process. The views from our site were perfect. It’s definitely a quiet area so I wouldn’t recommend for loud groups. Voices definitely carry in the mountains so we encouraged our kiddo try to keep the noise down. Would love to stay here again!

He was super friendly and kind, gave us info about the surrounding area, and even helped us figure out how to get to our next destination. We enjoyed camping at Debi's farm. The location is easy to find, close to the freeway. The location was beautiful and private. Debi welcomed us extremely warmly. My kids enjoyed exploring the farmland. We also traveled to Greycliff Mills by bike, which was about 5 miles away.

If you’re looking for a quiet, private spot to put your camper near Lovell, don’t pass this one up. Great amenities with a gas grill, small pond, water to fill your tank, 30/50 amp electric, beautifully manicured property, a great fire pit and it’s close to town but you’d never know it. I highly recommend Brenda and her spot. Great people who provide one of the best HipCamp sites I’ve stayed at.
