Group trip
Where do I even begin? Kellie was absolutely wonderful, and this place was such a breath of fresh air! I planned this as a surprise for my friends and didn’t tell them where we were going until we arrived. They were definitely shocked! If you love surprising your friends or family, I highly recommend keeping the destination a secret and bringing them here. We came from Bozeman, and the drive was super easy.
This is the perfect spot for a girls’ trip or bachelorette weekend if you love camping but want something a little more elevated. We did morning yoga, played games, and enjoyed the fun, unique atmosphere. You can feel the energy throughout the barn, and Kellie is such an amazing host.
The saloon is just a mile down the road and has amazing food and vibes. Definitely bring quarters so you can pound them into the walls — you’ll understand when you get there! Java Gypsy is also the cutest little coffee cart and worth a visit. Everyone was raving about a sandy beach along the river, which we didn’t get a chance to explore, so I’d recommend visiting in the summertime to enjoy the river, too.
A couple of practical tips: We had six people, and the hammocks can get pretty snug when two adults share one. I’d recommend bringing sleeping pads as a backup so everyone has the option to sleep comfortably on the floor. They’re also great to use as little couches during the day! Definitely bring sleeping bags, too, in case it gets chilly overnight.
The town is super cute, although if you’re in a particularly rambunctious group, be prepared for a few locals to ask what brings you there. Just bring some fun card games and anything else your group would enjoy doing together, and you’re set!
Overall, this was such a delightful experience. Kellie is an incredible host, and I can’t recommend this place enough for a girls’ trip, bachelorette weekend, or fun surprise for your favorite people. We had the best time!

My daughter and I loved this unique stay during our travels in Montana. It was truly a highlight, and we loved meeting and talking to Kelli, who was super responsive, helpful and friendly. We slept well and enjoyed the views and visiting with the goats on the property. As long as you read the description and know what to expect, you will likely love this place as much as we did!
