The town of Polson is 20 minutes away. You can find everything you need from supplies, to bars, restaurants, boat rentals, public parks, and even a casino. The town of Big Fork is only 45 minutes away and is a must-see. This town has an old-west feel with great shops, restaurants, a live theater, and an old iron bridge over the river. Glacier National Park is an hour and twenty minutes away. The driveway up to the orchard is made of gravel and is a bit steep at the beginning, At times there can be a few ruts so be cautious. Most standard passenger cars can make it up the driveway with no problem. Due to campers having trouble navigating the driveway with trailers we no longer allow trailers or RV's over 22 feet. Lowered vehicles are not recommended.

This private parcel shares a forest service boundary on one side, and is adjacent the road on the other, but the cabin and RV are set as close to the FS boundary as possible and there is a large, 1 acre clearing with plenty of additional parking areas. Enjoy the forest service access and nearby Jim Creek with public access just across the bridge. Check out the pair of nesting Common Loons at Peck Lake. Get out of the tent and enjoy a cozy night inside. Outdoor string lighting and an adjacent forest service campfire ring makes your evenings something to remember. If you're looking for adventure, there is plenty to do in the area with white water rafting, hiking, boat rentals & Mission Valley Speedway close by. We are approximately 100 miles from Glacier National Park and 25 miles from the National Bison Range. Sewer dumps are at Cenex in Ronan or Polson Bay next to Pizza Hut in Polson.

Jim Creek Cozy Cabin & RV w/ Hookup

Forest Service Boundary property. Campsite with 2 Units totaling 2 queens, 1 full, 2 doubles. Adjacent the Mission Mountains, Peck Lake Road is a rare foothills through route with access to hiking, biking, fishing, hunting, and exploring! Along the Great Divide Mountain Bike Route GDMBR (bikepacking route) on Peck Lake Road, in the Swan Valley, Montana, a short walk to Jim Creek for a crisp plunge. This hard sided campsite hosts a Remodeled Dry cabin with Power and Queen-Double bunk bed, dining table with chairs and a covered porch. The Second Living Unit is a well kept 2018, Jayco travel trailer with slide-out that sleeps 4 comfortably (up to 6), and has full utilities (water/power/sewer) and includes A/C, 3 burner range, microwave, bathroom with standup shower (5 gallon RV water heater), outdoor shower, private master with RV Queen mattress. The rear living setup allows for a large living/dining/kitchen area. The futon folds down into a full bed, and the dinette drops into a double futon 4” pad for extra campers or sleeping separately. This private parcel shares a forest service boundary on one side, and is adjacent the road on the other, but the cabin and RV are set as close to the FS boundary as possible and there is a large, 1 acre clearing with plenty of additional parking areas. Enjoy the forest service access and nearby Jim Creek with public access just across the bridge. Check out the pair of nesting Common Loons at Peck Lake. Get out of the tent and enjoy a cozy night inside. Outdoor string lighting and an adjacent forest service campfire ring makes your evenings something to remember. Minutes to other local trailheads and public land and water way access. Notes: There is plenty of additional parking, but no additional RV hookups. Tent camping is not recommended at this site, nor is outdoor cooking since there is a high density of bears in the area, but campers are welcome to stay and there is room inside the dry cabin for your gear! If additional, covered storage is needed for 1 or 2 bikes, please contact the host for access to the small storage shed. Bring your bear spray. Store all food and trash inside the hard sided cabin or RV in the provided containers.

The views are excellent! I got in pretty late so it was maybe a little more difficult to navigate after dark, but I still managed to find a spot and the toilets pretty easily. Erin was very helpful and quick to respond.

Finally, two level sites which made setting up a breeze. Speaking of a breeze, quick walk to the heart of Seeley. We grabbed a burger for an easy dinner and espresso/chai tea in the morning. Light road noise but quiet at night. We will be back!

Had the whole place to myself. Very nice, amazing view, and my site was very clean. If you're using a tent it can be a bit of a pain to get the stakes in the ground, as it's a bit rocky; it could've just been me tho, as it was my first time camping. There are train tracks near by, but the sound wasn't too bad--it was sort of relaxing honestly. You're also close enough to a little town that you can get emergency supplies if needed, but far enough removed that it feels far out. The host was super nice as well. All in all, great experience, especially for first time campers!

I love staying at Primrose Meadows. The sites are far enough apart that you don't feel you are camping with everyone else staying there. Rolling hills and a view of the Valley. Erin responds quickly to questions and has always been willing to accommodate needs, as she is able. It is my go-to place to stay when I am in the Missoula area.

This was a great, quiet place to stay for a night. It had water and electric hookups which was nice. We loved the deer that walked right past our camper. The laundry was not hooked up at the time but would have been a nice touch! We would stay again.
