This private parcel shares a forest service boundary on one side, and is adjacent the road on the other, but the cabin and RV are set as close to the FS boundary as possible and there is a large, 1 acre clearing with plenty of additional parking areas. Enjoy the forest service access and nearby Jim Creek with public access just across the bridge. Check out the pair of nesting Common Loons at Peck Lake. Get out of the tent and enjoy a cozy night inside. Outdoor string lighting and an adjacent forest service campfire ring makes your evenings something to remember. Minutes to other local trailheads and public land and water way access. Notes: There is plenty of additional parking, but no additional RV hookups. Tent camping is not recommended at this site, nor is outdoor cooking since there is a high density of bears in the area, but campers are welcome to stay and there is room inside the dry cabin for your gear! 2 nights at Sanctuary Farm Yurt Glamping

We loved our time at Sanctuary Farm. The farm itself is on a private road, off a minor country road in a heavily treed area - The drive there is spectacular. You know you are in for something special! The yurt was placed well away from the owner's home, which gave lots of privacy and the night sky is DARK, so perfect for stargazing. The composting sawdust outhouse was a short walk from the yurt & surprisingly pleasant - no odor or flies and plenty of ventilation. 1000 times nicer than a port-o-potty. The solar heated camp shower provided by the host worked great. Just be sure to shower in the evening after the water has had all day to heat up! The optional breakfast was delish - definitely worth the cost & we ate out for our other meals, so never used the outdoor kitchen. We enjoyed our time here & would definitely recommend it to others seeking a stay off-the-beaten path.

We really enjoyed our time here! We stayed a night as part of our honeymoon traveling through Montana. It is very peaceful and quiet, beautiful surroundings with the mountains and creek, and the animals are really sweet and fun to be around. The bed is super comfy and cozy and we slept so well in the A frame. The camper with the shower is really cool and the hot shower was a very nice treat. It was a pleasure meeting and chatting with Geof. Would love to stay here again some day!

One of the best hip camps we’ve ever stayed at. Our only regret was we had just one night. Incredible scenery, the friendliest donkeys, a really comfortable bed in the A frame, and unbelievable star gazing. Was the perfect midpoint on our Bozeman to glacier road trip!
