Little Beaver Creek Ranch is in the heart of western Montana, between the historic towns of Trout Creek and Thompson Falls. We loved staying at Robert and Mary’s ranch! The property is so quiet and beautiful, it was a great retreat. The spot is very private and we were lucky enough to walk the land and get a tour. Robert and Mary are very friendly. This was probably our favorite Hipcamp property thus far!

If you have a chance to camp here, take it! The views are beautiful, it’s quiet and peaceful, and such a short distance to town. We rode our bikes across the bridge into town several times. Cindy is very helpful and communicative! We would definitely stay again if we were in the area!

Weekend Trip to Little Beaver Creek Ranch

We arrived on a Friday afternoon and were greeted by Mary the owner who is very friendly and helpful. She jumped on her ATV and lead us to our camp spot. The views are breathtaking! The property has a beautiful trail at the edge of the property that goes over a creek and cows crazing in the field right next to it. It was fun to look at all the farm animals which included horses, chickens, goats and very friendly dogs. There is no internet near the camp spots. On Sunday morning, Rob the owner came over to chat with the two other campers that were there. He invited a mom and her young son to take a ride in the side by side to help him move the cows to a different field which I’m sure was so much fun for all. We camp a lot and this is one of the best camping experiences we have had and can’t wait to go back!

Weekend Trip to A Place of Tranquility

Green Acres, was a pleasure to visit. Cindy was a gracious host. The property is quite and easy access. It is more for dry camping, although we were able to hook up to 110. If you have a generator, it would be a perfect spot. We enjoyed feeding Ben (horse) carrots everyday. He is gentle and knows when you are headed his way. We are learning what we enjoy about Hip Canps, as we just started ours in Sagle Idaho on Lake Pend Orielle. Thanks Cindy
