Our property is close to town but far enough out that you feel secluded. We have wonderful dark nights with amazing views of stars. There is a fishing access a mile down the road, or you can hike to the river which is approximately 1000 feet to the river. The river isn't a real deep river, a lot of people use it to float on tubes, but it has been known to have some nice fish also. The area always gets afternoon wind gusts that happen daily and don't last long but something you'll want to be aware of. On site we have available for rent 2 tiny houses and 4 Rv hook up spots. Our property also has a yurt, an additional tiny house, a skoolie and a motorhome. If you’re wanting to just get away to a beautiful spot, take a hike along the river, float the river or fish this is your place. It’s beautiful and quiet.

We're Located in four corners across the street from Bozeman hot springs, our sheep camp is less that 200 yards from their front door. It is the closest of any vacation rental to them. The area is semi-rural with farms, neighborhoods and businesses. Big Sky resort is 42 miles, Bridger bowl is 26 miles. Bozeman is 7 miles. We're in rainbow subdivision. possibly Montana's oldest subdivision. We're on Lower Rainbow Road. In the summer we see some spectacular rainbows, many being double rainbows. Enjoy what this 1-bedroom modern range camp has to offer. Forced air gas heat, Indoor and outdoor kitchen, Two Queen beds, 3/4 bath. Clothes closet and drawers Pantry, Gas range and oven. convection oven and micro wave, Keurig coffee maker. Refrigerator/ freezer, Solo fire pit with Adirondak chairs, hard woods for cooking and softwoods for just gereral hanging around the camp fire, Treager smoker grill and a weber propane grill. If there are more than two people in this camp, it's a small space and you best be the courteous kind. This sheep camp is the real deal. It was made for people who work on the range. Cowboys, sheepherders and such. As such you will need to be a bit western in attitude to fully enjoy it. It is very efficient but a small space. It works fine as a place to stay especially for one or two people. The basic normal things are intuitive. But for using things like the outdoor kitchen, the range oven and awning you may need a quick lesson on how those work. We are happy to teach you. If you want the experience or ambience of using the woodstove then we absolutely require that we instruct you on how to use it first. Using it requires your attention. Before TV and other modern distractions, the fire was the center of our attention and social environment. Giving your stoves fire attention then was easy. It still requires your attention if you choose to use it here. You can't use the wood stove when it's warm out because it would get to hot in the camp. The fire pit is always allowed. This unique property provides guests with Wi-Fi, TV, Stereo an iron and ironing board, It has forced air gas heat for a comfortable stay. After your day of adventure, Take a soak in the hot springs, snuggle up in your nice comfortable bed and that's a very good day.

Had a great trip to this cozy little cabin. The cabin was clean, plenty of firewood provided, and the Jackery + lights were a nice touch. Great location close to hiking and Chico Hot Springs. Would stay again!

1 night at The DET Place Hideaway

McKenzie was great. She was very quick to reply to questions and super accommodating. Our check in time changed a couple of times d/t unforeseen delays getting to Montana - but she was really easy to work with and understanding. The 5th wheel was great. Lots of space and well kept. Bedrooms were a nice surprise (bigger than appeared in the pics). Shower was hot and plenty large enough for me (6 ft and 245lbs) to clean up. Water and heat were included and welcome. The view of the mountains out of the camper door were a pleasant way to wake up and her property was secluded enough and well kept. Easy instructions and only about an hour north of Bozeman. Would def stay with her again if we made it back up this way.

Weekend Trip to Yellowstone Dreamin Camp

This place does it right! I had made a reservation for one night. As soon as I got there I knew I had to extend it at least one night which I did. So comfortable, so many extra details. My best experience so far of my 30 days on the road!!

Welcome to our off-grid tiny Gnome Home.
The inside is 7.5 x 6.5 feet wide with 8.5 high ceiling.
The entrance door is 4 feet tall x 2 feet wide.
You must duck to enter and leave, so please use caution :)
There is a picnic table available.
A firepit/wood.

A friend of mine and I stopped by on our way across country and John and Sheila’s Gome Home was absolutely a highlight! Their property is not only absolutely beautiful with lots of cute and friendly animals roaming around but also conveniently located next to Yellowstone National Park and the nearby town. Will be visiting again on our next time through the area.

Weekend Trip to The DET Place Hideaway

When I pulled up to Mackenzie‘s RV, I was a little dismayed to see it parked next to the house but then we met Mackenzie and changed our minds. She was lovely and the RV was so nice and comfortable. My kids loved it. We had a bonfire and walked around and saw the horses. It was a perfect place to stay. We spent time at Canyon ferry the Madison River. This spot OSS really a gem!

I loved the little gnome home. It was a fun place to stay. Shelia was a great host. She had given us advice of where to go in Yellowstone. She had also made my son and I a pancake breakfast after we completed a task that she asked of us. I highly recommend this little home. Thank you.

3 nights at Yellowstone City Guest Ranch

Super cute cabin with everything I needed. The stream right by it also kept the area nice and cool despite an air temp of 90. The road leading to it had a number of big potholes that would be hard on smaller vehicles, but it also made sure that any traffic going through were going slow. Would absolutely stay here again!!!
