Close to grocery, bank, gas. The White River is famous for its trout fishing. Deer hunting in the area, too. (Not on this property.) The hookups are on the left side (right side if you back in). You may need extensions for your power and sewer. I have them available, if you don’t have your own. PLEASE TAKE YOUR TRASH WITH YOU WHEN YOU LEAVE. Being downhill, next to the creek, I feel, is safer from tornados, as well, the echo goes uphill instead of downhill toward this property. The front of my property is very flat and grassy, from the creek fence to the front side of my house. Mature trees that line my property provide nice shade in the spring and summer, however, the property is open air. The stars are spectacular. There is no light pollution. (once it is dark, you can't see your hand in front of your face) This is a small town of about 2000 people or so. There are quite a few shops as well as a grocery store, hardware store, a couple auto stores as well as a couple dealerships. There is a drive through coffee shop as well as a couple drug stores available in town. There are 3 to 5 different repair shops around. There is a beautiful golf course, 5-8 minutes away, just around the corner. . I live in a peaceful and extremely tranquil spot here. A good hideaway, if thats what you’re looking for. Hide away and recoup before your next big adventure. There are a few kids around that love to ride their ATVs, bikes, walk, skateboard and skate up and down Conniebrook Lane. We have bike rally's coming through town often, in the summer. Mt. View, AR, the bluegrass music capitol of the world is about 45 minutes away. Beautiful drive, to get there. Scenic overlooks on the way. Wheelchair Accessibility: I am sure any electric wheelchair would have no problem going over the grass area anywhere they wanted to go in the camping area. I hope if there are any issues, it would be brought to my attention and I would make it accommodating, immediately.. I am extremely handy and mechanical.

Plant starts and garden produce, chicken eggs and any other creative ways we can find to help fund our dream of being together doing what we love instead of going to a normal job to make someone elses dreams come true. Not far away you can visit Mark Twain National Forest, Montauk State Park, Ozark National Scenic Riverways, and the Laura Ingalls Wilder Historic Home and Museum to name a few. Roughly 40 minutes off I44 at rolla and 20 minutes ftom hwy 60 just 2 hours to branson and springfield. Walmart and fast food are just 10 minutes away. We are new to the area but there are other lakes, trails and stuff to do close. Lots of flea markets and antiques stores close by to go explore. Located on a small private lane there are a few quiet neighbors. There is a parking area to access trail by walk in, though we are trying to make it vehicle accessable. Our first spot is able to fit a small van camper or a pickup with a small box camper though its pretty tight. 4x4 may be needed. We appreciate your reviews on hipcamp and google. We had a great time camping on Teresa's land. It has all the hookups you need and more! Very peaceful remote area, but still close enough to Van Buren that fetching any forgotten supplies is a breeze. She was also very kind, suggesting locations, offering advise, and even getting us some extra fire wood. One thing of note is to not listen to your GPS when arriving and actually read Teresa's email with detailed directions. Lol Otherwise you end up down her neighbor's driveway and look like an idiot. 😂

This full hook-up site was perfect in every way! It is so peaceful and in a pretty setting. We spent a week and enjoyed each day. Teresa is a wonderful host and a very kind person. If we come back to this beautiful area in the future, we will definitely want to stay here again. We highly recommend this campground.

Teresa was a great host! She sent me very clear directions to her land before we arrived. When we got there, she welcomed us and told us the best restaurants in the area and sites to see and answered any questions we had. She offered free firewood. Her land was right off the main highway, but had minimal traffic noise. It was just a few miles away from big Spring, a must see!

Primitive spot is perfect, flat and close to the river. Space definately gives you a secluded and private feeling. River access by primitive spot is various depths and rock bank is big. Great spot!!!

Host was very helpful. Loved the atmosphere and the cows. Plenty of walking space for us and our dog. So quiet at night, and no lights to spoil the night sky. Didn’t use any of the facilities.

A wonderful farm way off the road! Sites are wide with full hook ups. We only stayed one night on long haul across the country. Use google maps though, Apple Maps sends you the wrong direction! If your looking for peace and quiet and to get away from it all there isn't a better place.

We stayed in the glamping tent, it was our first time ever staying in something like this. We typically either tent camp or stay in a cabin. It was a great location on the scenic byway. It was close to everything we wanted to see and do for a short weekend. The site was clean and the bed was super comfy. The night got cool so we were thankful for the heated bed. Thanks for a great stay!!

Weekend Trip to Big Rock Candy mountain

Where to begin!!??? We absolutely loved our stay at BRCM!... we stayed in our camper on an electric site and it was fantastic from start to finish. Roger and Lela are just incredible people who have created a very special place. Between the swimming pool, bar and grill, playground, dogs, and general vibe, this place is a one of a kind getaway- more of an experience really. We loved it. And it's minutes away from the Current river where we set up for a few hours to have some river fun. It's truly a family place- we met other campers/lodgers who had already been there several times, which i absolutely understand! This is a place you keep coming back to because Roger and Lela make it feel like home. We can't wait to come back!!!!
