Almost all of our sites are pull through, located between two roads coming down a hillside. You pull into your level site from one road and pull out onto another. All the roads are one way traffic so as to not force campers to negotiate steep uphill roads. Located adjacent to a well supplied supermarket for all your camping needs. We have a large community fire pit and games courts for playing lawn games, all lit up at night. In our modern camphouse we have beautiful showers and a brand new laundry facility for your convenience open 7am till 10pm daily. We also have dry tent sites at $25 daily. While we are not on the river, there are many river access points around us and we are 3 minutes up the road from downtown Steelville! We are also just up the road from the Meramec Music Theatre! Had a great experience at this campground! We originally reserved spot 12 but got upgraded to 13 (closer to the river) by the owner, due to not many campers being out there! It was a beautiful private spot. Appreciated the facilities and amenities and enjoyed the views immensely.

The campground was clean and in a quiet country setting. Steve was very nice and called us a few minutes after we arrived to if we had any questions. Definitely follow Steve's directions to get to the campsite. We made the mistake of following Google's directions on our way in. Didn't do that again! I would recommend this campground and we'll definitely stay there again in the future.

Nice gravel sites, reasonably level. Water, power, and sewer. Small bathroom with shower, but clean. Very quiet here, only the sound of the wind through the trees. Follow the directions to the area given by the owner, Steven. Don't follow Google maps. There will be a section on a gravel road, not bad, but just slow down. Some restaurants and Dollar General within about 10 minute drive. Pretty much anything else you could need within 20-25 minutes. This is a good value, and we would happily stay again.
