Often bald eagles can be spotted at both lakes. Other wildlife you may see: deer, wild turkey, raccoons, opossums, fox, bobcat, coyote, rabbits, armadillo, otter, and squirrels. Please do not approach the wild animals! There is a pretty creek for those who like to creek walk. Petrified wood can be picked up in the creek bed. We are only 30 minutes from the University of Mississippi campus for people coming for ballgame weekends. We are only about 20 minutes from Grenada and Enid Reservoirs. These have some of the finest crappie fishing in the United States. We are located 2 miles east of the Trans America Trail.

The land is mowed down, lush green with some trees in the middle and just all around beautiful. There are 4 gravel RV pads and gravel paths around the homestead as well as 6 large wildflower gardens. Right now there are no activities on the land. Just a place to stay if someone wants to camp or you can walk on the paths. If you have a golf cart, you can ride those on the property. I do own 33 chickens which are a delight and I sell farm fresh eggs. I also sell produce and handmade goods seasonally. I also rent my tiny house on wheels on Airbnb and there could be a guest staying at any given time. We just ask that you walk around the tiny house front and back yard and not through it if there is a guest staying.
The camp sites have not been broken in yet so the spots are not in a designated area yet. There are 5 tent camp spots to choose from. The photos you see are the areas you can choose from. I supply a fire pit and free firewood for your use during your stay. We do not have bathroom facilities so please be prepared to use your own. There is also a Dollar General 2 minutes away.

We really enjoyed our weekend on John’s land, and wouldn’t hesitate to come back. Beautiful countryside, and our little girls really enjoyed all of the animals. Didn’t try our hand at fishing this trip, but did take a stroll around the property on a perfectly manicured path. Great cell signal for streaming some Saturday afternoon football. As a family we have been camping in our RV for about 4 years now and I personally have been camping all my life. This trip was one of the most memorable to date! Mrs. Anita is so responsive to messages and Mr. Lynn’s attention to detail and thoughtfulness are unmatched! The property upon entering is horse stables and rolling hills leading to a shaded campground with full hookup sites situated around a larger than life bonfire pit with rock seating. Each site has ample space and its own firepit. We were graciously given ample firewood, a map and even full access to a 4x4 UTV to explore the property! The rest of the property is hundreds of acres with miles of well marked trails for riding or hiking. There are two lakes with the larger of the two having an assortment of boats. There is also a primitive camp area on the big lake. Wildlife is in abundance! Deer, fox, herons, eagles and more are seen while at night the coyotes sing you to sleep! Mr. Lynn check on us every morning! We loved it so much we booked an extra day and have already started planning our return! We drank coffee in the cool morning air, fished the day away and enjoyed hot cocoa and s’mores around the fire at night!They are in the process of building a structure that will have bath/laundry and bunkhouse as well as a rec room! Whether passing through or staying for an extended period this place checks all the boxes plus some! Thank you Mrs. Anita and Mr. Lynn for an amazing experience and we will be back soon!!!

This was our most memorable trip yet! We have been RVing since 2022 and have stayed at countless Rv parks but this was by far the best experience ever! First off Mrs. Anita was so responsive to messages and communication was so clear. We arrived on a Sat and were met by the camp hosts husband Mr. Lynn. He helped get us in and situated and gave us firewood. Each site had a firepit as well a a huge bonfire in the middle. He gave a a rundown of the property and told us he’d be back in the morning with maps and more for us as the sun was setting. The property was gorgeous with rolling hills and horses. We sat out the first night listening to the coyotes. The next morning we awoke to a 4WD UTV and a map of the property. Miles and miles of riding and hiking trails though beautiful forest! We had breakfast and coffee the struck out through the woods. The trails were well marked so no fear of getting lost and the map was detailed! There are two lakes, small lake and big lake(both big lol). The big lake had Jon boats and a paddle boat for use. We were having so much fun we immediately booked extra days! We spent the next two days, exploring the trails, fishing, birdwatching and even found an old tire swing. Mr. Lynn checked on us faithfully every morning! They are in the process of building an amazing bathhouse, laundry, rec room/bunkhouse. Check out was easy and unrushed. Do yourself a favor and book a week! It’s worth every penny and more! We will be back Soon! Great Memories!

Delightful experience! Myles was so kind, communicative, and informational. The space is super peaceful and lovely. I saw armadillos, alpacas, chickens, and pears! Super quiet and close to Wolf/Ghost river kayaking and amenities in Jackson, Bolivar, and La Grange, TN. I highly recommend this campsite.

The hiking and/or off-road motorcycle trails are many and varied covering significant terrain around the multiple large lakes and adjoining farmlands - all in all simply an outstandingly great location for a multi day stay.

The farm site was beautiful, quiet, and peaceful. Kiddos especially loved the friendly animals. They loved getting to pet the horses, little donkeys, and cats. John provided a nice screened in sitting area as well as a hot shower and clean restroom. We didn't have time to go fishing, but the lake was serene. We really enjoyed our stay. Thank you, John!

This location was easy to find and absolutely beautiful! John and his family were very friendly and welcoming. I pulled in about an hour before sunset, setup, made dinner, and found a peaceful cozy place to eat that overlooks the lake. The sunset and sunrise was beautiful! Hung out by the lake until the sun went down. The bathroom was easy to find and shower was warm. Thanks for opening your property to Hipcamp and for your welcoming hospitality.

Always a great stay. Enjoyed fishing from the paddle boat and riding the trails. Trails are so well maintained. Anita & Lynn are great host and we even got to pick sone muscadines to take home.

The site was level. large fishing pond to catch and release. There was a screened in porch with a full bathroom and kitchenette space for your use. There was not a stove though so keep that in mind. My only concern was that the water and power for the rv sites were shared..so if both sites were being used 1 person would need an extra long water and power cord. The animals were all friendly.
