The Hamlet Lake homestead is our 10-acre family home with two unique and private hip-camp sites. We have both lakeshore (in front) and a hobby farm with cows, chickens and goats in our back lawn and woods. The Hamlet Lake Bunkhouse is located to the west of our home in its own secluded parcel next to the lake. The Camp on Hamlet Hill (closed for 2026) is to the north of our home, on a remote flat hill at the top of our property, on a hill over Cedar brook. with 300-acre, (private) Hamlet Lake in front, and the wide portion of the 20-mile Cedar brook in the back. We are a large "homesteading" family, with chickens, ducks, and a garden. The campsite is a private 1/2 acre clearing, surrounded by woods with a firepit, grill, cooking utensils, and an outhouse. (Tents are available for a small additional cost). There is an outdoor water pump below the hill, near which guests can view our fenced-in animals. Guests can also access the waterfront and beach in front, with the use of the swim raft, lily pad, fishing dock, canoe, kayak, and paddle boards included. At nearly 100 feet deep, Hamlet lake also boasts excellent fishing. Our home is located 6 miles from Crosby, with the world-class Cuyuna Lakes 50-mile mountain bike trail system. Crosby is a growing tourist town with many new and unique restaurants, outdoor adventures, and shopping opportunities. The paved bike trail begins 3.5 north of us. Milacs lake is 10 miles to the south.

Great quiet relaxing location, with wildlife and the sound of the country. You will have the only camp site on the property. You can stay in the small camping cabin in comfort with your own bedding, or bring a sleeping bag. We have the twin bed in the loft, or use the futon on the main level. The cabin only has room for two adults unless you bring a camp pad to sleep on the floor, or squeeze in a child, but you have the comforts of an A/C , a Weber grill, mini fridge, microwave, and Electricity. Quiet former country farm site, with great wildlife viewing options with walking trails. Only 23 miles to DT St. Cloud and 7 Miles to the Walmart in Princeton for food or supplies. If a shower is desired the Kwik Trip in St Cloud, on Hwy 10 has showers. Just a half mile off Hwy 95 and 5 miles from the large Sherburne National Wildlife Refuge, with trails and lots of wildlife. In the Fall expect to see a large amount of wildlife with many migrating birds come out of the refuge to feed. Expect to hear Pheasant's cackle in the AM, and see Sandhill Cranes and Geese fly over the camp site, or sitting in area fields. Enjoy time around a campfire with folding chairs and a picknick table, with plenty of free dry firewood in a storage rack.

The kitchen provides you with everything you need to prepare your meals including a refrigerator, small freezer, stove, oven, cookware, cutting boards, sink, seasonings, oil, and coffee.
Water for washing is available from an electric pump faucet in the kitchen, and a brand-new outhouse is located steps from the cabin.
The cabin is efficiently heated and cooled with a user-friendly heat pump and gets the cabin to your desired temperature very quickly.

Hardly rustic. The bed and the accommodations were very comfortable. The pics don’t do it justice. We enjoyed talking with the laid-back, dog-friendly campers nearby. The shared fire ring, kitchen and table were inviting, but we didn’t make time for that. We did however walk down through the woods to the river a couple of times. The surrounding woods and ferns are exactly what we hoped for!

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful cabin! It has everything you could possibly need for a comfortable and relaxing getaway. This was truly one of the best trips we took this summer.
We had the chance to meet the host, who was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making our stay even more special. Spending the evening around a campfire by the lake was unforgettable—it was peaceful, relaxing, and the perfect way to enjoy nature.

We loved Bundo's cabin! There were six of us staying—two moms and four boys—and there was plenty of space for everyone. The boys had so much room to run around and play, and we loved being able to set up a tent for them while the moms slept comfortably in the cabin.
There was also plenty of room to set up a screened canopy, which made relaxing outside bug-free (though the bugs weren't bad to begin with!). The stargazing meadow was absolutely beautiful at night and made for a memorable evening.
The cabin had everything we needed, including air conditioning, which was a welcome escape from the sweltering heat. We also loved the record player and the thoughtful selection of albums—it was such a fun, unique touch.
We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!

Had a wonderful weekend at Harvest Loon Camp. All of the amenities far exceeded expectations! The beds were comfortable, the cabin was air conditioned and the bathroom was newly renovated. Bonus points for being dog friendly! Robert was very responsive to questions throughout our trip. Highly recommend staying here - one of the best Hipcamp experiences we've had!

Found this cabin on a whim and booked it because of the positive reviews/photos. It turned out to be even better than imagined. Expect lovely views, tranquility, birdsong, and lots of fireflies (if you go in the summer). My boyfriend and I had a fabulous stay, and we’re already talking about coming back. The cabin was very clean and cozy, secluded and rustic enough to feel like glamorous camping, and was obviously well cared for. Thank you, Jon!
