I would recommend the Farm to anyone. Ashley is great to deal with and is very accommodating. The property sits on beautiful acreage with trees and a river! The room is cozy and the bed is really comfy! I'm so excited I am extending my stay. I would definitely stay here again in my travels. Thanks Ashley!!

We loved our stay at Frickson Farm, the cabin was perfect! We loved stocking up on meat and goods from the farm store. It’s near the highway but very quite and peaceful and the stars were beautiful.

I enjoyed a number of beautiful sunsets on the patio!

The property is beautiful, the directions were clear and Ashley is a great host! The Wrangler room is very comfortable and adorned with great decor! I felt so comfortable there, I would definitely recommend it to anyone. The property has a number of different areas to explore. There is a nice fire pit down by the river and it is so peaceful! We absolutely loved the setup of the tiny home! Wood stove kept us warm and cozy while the snow fell outside. Awesome patio area so we cooked all of our food over the fire pit which included a handy movable grate. Having firewood included was so nice. The 3 miles of hiking were enjoyed greatly by us and our dog!

Nice camp set up with water and electricity. Smooth entrance and exit for our 28' travel trailer. Andy responded quickly and ensured we were all set up even though we arrived after dark. Only downside is I-90 is just across the field and highway noise was a part of the stay. Thanks much Frickson's.

Our Farm store is stocked with our home raised fresh & frozen meat - beef, pork, chicken and many other locally sourced food items including honey, Maple syrup, dried goods, dairy, eggs, and more. Seasonal produce as available (Sweet corn & pumpkins in fall) •Electric available for 4 RV’s •Water for 4 RV's not available winter months - hiking trails through our forest new for 2023 (Fire wood provided, donations appreciated.) We Accept all major cards (credit/debit), cash, check or Venmo. Delight in the beauty and history of this authentic 171-year-old family farm; now organic, sustainable, solar-powered and chemical free with a small apartment built into the 75-year-old barn. Unplug on the charming property that pays homage to the founding family who settled and worked these woods. Established in 1854, The Homestead is one of only a handful of remaining Century Farms in Minnesota; this Pioneer Property boasts an inviting 25 PRIVATELY OWNED acres for you to freely roam. Certified as a National Wildlife Habitat, there is an abundance of animals and birds in the heavily wooded pristine moors at the bottom of the hill. Bluffs, creek, Medieval Forest; the pastures are used organic, chemical free hay farming. Homesteaded since 1858, the Farm has been chemical free since 1985. We raise organic hay. Heritage Hideaway is the perfect place to unwind and reconnect with loved ones. Located on 25 acres of steep bluffs, our Tiny House is tucked on the edge of the mature hardwood forest. A 100 yard hike in, allows guests to feel truly unplugged. Comfortably rustic, the Tiny House is furnished with solar electricity, clean water and firewood is supplied with each stay. Our Tiny House is 100% off the grid and utilizes a small solar system. Guests should consider limiting their use of electronic devices and appliances to ensure adequate electricity for lights, fan and fridge during your stay. While there is no running water, ten gallons of fresh water is supplied with each stay. The clean and modern outhouse is close but not too close to the Tiny House. A short hike beyond the cabin is a rock overlook for spectacular sunset views. Please note the parking area is located 100 yards from the cabin, there is no motor vehicle access to the cabin itself. A wagon is available to facilitate transporting your gear for your stay. A true hideaway, the cabin is tucked back off the main road, yet close to many recreational opportunities. There is a full shared bathroom available in the main house.
