Waterfront on Quanicassee River at the mouth of Saginaw Bay. It has a lighted deck to fish from or enjoy sunsets right in front of the RV site. Great location, 5 min from Hwy 25 (East of Bay CIty {20 minutes}, Frankenmuth just 35 minutes. High Speed WiFi, Water & 50 amp Power; Sewer dump. No playground equipment but one of the best RV sites in Michigan (that I have found). The Quanicassee River is one of the cleanest rivers in our area. Lots of boats go out and in by the dock. DNR boat ramp near. There are resident eagles, ducks, geese, swans, pelicans (rare) and lots of fish.

ABOUT THE FARM We have a working, organic farm with a lot of animals, however, we also do crops as well. This particular farm is 138 acres with 8 acres of woods. We have working dogs, sheep, cattle, horses, a couple goatsWe have some super great animals. Most of which are very friendly. You never know what will be available to see on the farm when you visit. We are expecting a foal (baby horse) this summer (2021) and are already planning for another foal next summer as well. We often have puppies as well and sometimes we have to bottle feed lambs. There's never a dull moment. Our farm is unique in the way of having a very positive VIBE to it. The energy is awesome! It's really a space of tranquility and healing if you allow yourself to go there. After hosting with air bnb for a little over a year now, we decided to give this a try as well. We love hosting people and having them come to the farm and enjoy our way of life. It also helps to have a supplemental income as having and running a small family farm isn't very sustainable. Typically there's off the farm jobs to help pay for the farm life. It's a crazy equation. Small family farms are far and few between. Please support your local farmer if possible! Perfect spot for a relaxing getaway. The river is beautiful to watch, lots of wildlife and fantastic sunsets right in front of you. You are able to fish right from your site. The hosts were very helpful and friendly. This will be our annual fishing spot.

Scenic as it gets - lovely place - nice people - way out rural but there’s a small town not far to get supplies - the pool is a nice plus - dog friendly - and a fun glimpse into small farming life with two really decent, nice honest people.

The farm was wonderful! This was my 2nd time staying at this property and would recommend if you are looking for a relaxing and quiet farm stay! The horses were so friendly and would walk up for pets and we got to spend time with the new Pyrenees puppies. Doreen is super helpful, friendly and a great host!

We stayed on Mark's land when my husband was in the area working. Easy access, trash pick up, plenty of room for parking, on a large lot. Close to stores, gas station, laundry and other conveniences. Mark responds to all messages and is quick to help. Would definitely stay again.

What a beautiful property! we loved waking up to the horses in the field. Doreen was very accommodating and helpful. The property was clean and the outhouse was well kept. She was very kind with our kids and even showed us how she cared for her cow and horses. We stayed 2 nights because we were passing through but wish we could’ve stayed longer it was such a nice little paradise. Would highly recommend for anyone who’s looking for a little bit of farm life and tranquility. Thank you Doreen and family for your hospitality. We wish you all the very best.

Where to go

Saginaw Surrounds

The Saginaw River runs right through downtown Saginaw, providing urban boating and fishing access. Hikers and bikers can take the nearby Saginaw Valley Rail Trail 11 miles to St. Charles in summer (the multi-use trail is utilized by skiers in winter).

Bay City State Park

Just 25 minutes from Saginaw, Bay City State Park sits on a sandy beach of Saginaw Bay that’s perfect for swimming, boating, and fishing. Tent and RV camping sites feature picnic tables, fire rings, and restrooms, while observation towers let campers study the wildlife in the park’s Topico Marsh.

Lake Camping on the “Thumb”

About 80 minutes northeast from Saginaw are two state parks on Lake Huron at the tip of Michigan’s thumb. Sleeper State Park has lakeside camping with sunrise and sunset views, plus a dune forest you can explore. Port Crescent State Park, meanwhile, is a designated Dark Sky Preserve with excellent stargazing and a campground offering both cabins and geodesic domes.

Tawas Point State Park

An hour and a half north of Saginaw is Tawas Point State Park, a 183-acre lakeside getaway set on the sand spit that separates Tawas Bay from Lake Huron. The park links up to the Tawas Bay Multi-Use Trail for biking or hiking on the lakeshore, and campers have plenty of options—choose from tent sites, RV sites, and cabins.

When to go

With late sunsets and warm days, summer is the best time to visit Saginaw for a camping trip.
