I had such a wonderful time here! The area was so beautiful and the little house thing they have set up with a bed was so comfy and cute. The hosts were super kind and responsive and super understanding of the emergency situation that had come up for me.They have a heater and fire wood available for a small fee. The cabin was womderful. It had everything we needed for our overnight stay, including heat, coffee press, some water, fun games annd books, and a clean outhouse just a few steps away. We enjoyed a campfire by the river, and loved being so close to Shepherdstown ~1.5 miles away. I hope to return in the warmer seasons!

Weekend Trip to Tiny House on the Potomac
Very picturesque setting near an eclectic town. I went there by myself, no pets are allowed and it was everything I had hoped for. It was the last day of a week long trip and it is worth staying for multiple days.
Views and cabin amenities are numerous and would recommend to future travelers.

So beautiful standing on the waters edge. Cozy, clean cabin. Nicest "outhouse" I've used. Shepardstown nearby is a great little town and so close. Note: Wifi did not work well at all but only really wanted it to look up nearby places. Sadly it was drizzle so I didn't get to sit by the firepit by the river so I guess I'll have to come back. :-)

Camping at Tamara's was relaxing and an overall pleasant experience. Watching the sunrise over the mountains in the morning, warming up by the fire at night, and spending days with the sweet animals was a blessing. Between the arts and crafts (really fun for little ones), learning about historical tools (think Little House on the Prairie), and improving my skills for fire building and cooking over a fire, this was a delightful and educational experience. The location is near hiking trails with great views, and near several ice cream shops (a great treat after a good hike). Tamara is a good host. This is definitely a location that I hope to return to.

We had a wonderful time at Tamara’s farm. We were welcomed with farm fresh eggs and firewood our first evening where we sat bye the fire and cooked yummy hot dogs and corn.
Our teens stayed in a tent - their first time camping in a tent and loved the experience.
In the morning we took a long morning walk taking in all the nature - the weather was fabulous.
Tamara shared some of the history of the region and we spent the afternoon hiking in the mountains where there was an overlook which was stunning.
If your looking for time out in nature in a rustic setting with warm hospitality we highly recommend Tamara’s cottage.

Tamara has a beautiful property with a tremendous amount of indoor and outdoor space for guests to use and enjoy, with ample on site activities too. My family loved the sleeping space, crafting space, chickens, and making a bonfire the most, but it was all great. Tamara is a wonderful hostess with many recommendations for us, and made us feel right at home. I hope to go back and relax there again soon!

Weekend Trip to CLOUD NINE VICTORIAN FARM
I stopped through for one night on my way from FL to upstate NY. The fresh breeze, soughing ancient trees, and gently stunning views were a soothing and reinvigorating balm after a long muggy drive. Tamara is a friendly, interesting, interactive host, and her set-up here is truly a work of art - and an immersive history lesson. She is only the fourth owner of this very special property - which is 130 years old, surrounded by dairy farms, most of which are industrializing, but the land (still shared with the palpable presence of a widespread, long-established Mennonite community). The experience gives a keen and enveloping sense of what things were like back-when.
The sleeping quarters and water closet are in the sweet little building behind her house that was the 'summer kitchen' at one time. While the accommodation is basic by our persnickety modern standards, it holds long-lost, historically accurate ways intact, and has much to offer those who are willing to relax into its rich and rewarding charms.
Tamara kept close company with me during my visit, and I relaxed into this as well, thanks to her warm, funny, and knowledgeable personality. Her gorgeous Gmn Shepherd, Willow, friendly cats and laying hens joined in the hostessing, and Willow passed the night with me in my little dwelling, protecting me while I slept in the loft, and the whole property on her night patrols. Door open! A solid sleep helped me finish my trip with fortitude.

From the moment we pulled in we were greeted with warm open arms by Tam and her lovely, well trained dog named Willow. The property is vibrant and you can tell a lot of love and intention is put into it. There is a massive pine tree with chairs and lights that is the perfect place to unwind both during the day and at night. Tam went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and even started the fire where we cooked our dinner using her homegrown herbs and garlic. We left our experience knowing that we will certainly be back again! Looking forward to having more conversations and connection with you, Tam! Thank you a million 💛

A magical step into 1800s farm life with a welcoming host who offered much for kids to do (basketball, tire swing, hanging out with a lovely dog, cats, and chickens, feeding hens and gathering eggs, hopping on WiFi). Gorgeous landscaping, scenic atmosphere, fairy lights, peaceful areas to rest and recharge. Cow to cone creamery, caverns, and parks nearby with overlooks. Do bring bedding and readiness to relax. Highly recommend -including the eggs and jams!

My Son (9yrs) and I had a great weekend at Cloud Nine Farm, The Farm and surrounding area where absolutely beautiful and peaceful.
Views as far as you could see of Farmland, Orchards and Mts. Gorgeous setting.
The accommodations were all very nice from comfy beds, very unique washroom & john area w lots of amenities, stocked kitchen with a large table and cooking implements.
Everything was tidy and well decorated with loads of old tools and such from the 1890 era, that you are encouraged to pick up and learn from.
There were loads of fun and interesting things to do from playing games (swings, horseshoes, croquet, basketball etc) to making crafts and painting in the large Arts Barn and workshop.
Both evenings, we enjoyed a campfire watching the beautiful sunset that turned to stargazing and playing with glow bracelets Tam had given to us.
The animals were all gentle and friendly, and my son really enjoyed gathering the eggs, digging potatoes, and learning to identify Trees.
Tam is an excellent Host making sure you have everything you need and are having a good time, but gave us enough space to enjoy ourselves.
Last thing before we let, Tam did a “Quick Once Over” to make sure we hadn’t left anything, I’m glad she did, as she found my boy’s iPad under one of the beds. Whew.
Our visit was a really enjoyable experience and so much fun.
I would recommend Cloud Nine to families, friends, couples or anyone looking for a lovely visit at a lovely place.
