There is also a small communal shed down at camp that contains extra camping supplies, etc.. feel free to use use and put back and or/ contribute to it! :) This spot is close by to Berkeley Springs, Paw Paw Tunnel, Cacapon State Park, and other nature preserves. More hiking, biking, restaurants, spas, antiquing- all within a beautiful 20 minute drive if you wish to venture out. There is a cabin on the property. I will more often be home than not, I will communicate with you about that around your stay. Sometimes I"ll come down to the river frontage if I drop in for a float .Also, we all get around on four wheelers and UTV's. So you will hear them from time to time. If I am home, please feel free to come up if you have any concerns/questions or to say hi! :) *Please note, you can normally get to this site without a 4 wheel drive vehicle. However, when the river is high it will sometimes flood the low water bridge where it crosses the Cacapon. Cleaning precautions for everyone are taken to extreme lengths. All linens, pillows, etc. are completely removed and cleaned. All surfaces receive commercial disinfectant and upon the request of the guest we can cordinate fogging services. We apologize in advance that some normal things are removed completely like printed house manuals. We ask that you remove all trash and a few other things upon departing to help us stay safe as well.The internet cannot be guaranteed if there is a problem with the provider. In a wooded area bugs are normal. Loud noise or Guest not on the reservation will result in immediate termination and removal. We have a zero tolerance policy. Our relationship and safety of our neighbors and neighborhood is of upmost importance to us.

This is our 100 yr old family farm. The lower fields are used for beef cattle grazing and hay making. There is a rough road to walk up to the fields and woods above. We are very close to the Aughwick creek where there is kayaking and fishing. There are many trails in Huntingdon County. We are about 45 mins away from Lake Raystown dam where there is boating and camping and trails. The 1000 steps is a popular hiking trail. We have a recently remodeled farmhouse for short term rentals. There is a spot for a motor home that would have electric and water hookups.

The cabin was amazing and had everything and more! There were games, kitchen supplies, grill with a stove, and they provide firewood. Since we went in October we had a heated blanket and there was a space heater in there as well. Berkeley Springs is close by and they have nice restaurants and a farmers market on Sundays. Definitely will be going back!

Weekend Trip to Kona's Cabin

This wasn't camping...or even glamping, really. This is a small house in a smaller sized residential community. We could see other houses on either side and across the street easily, so it did not feel like a campsite. However, it's a cute little place that has nice accommodations and we were quite comfortable there. We used the charcoal grill one evening and had a fire in the small brick fire pit two out of the three nights we spent there. The location is convenient to Winchester, about 15-20 minutes away.

Kara’s property is a lovely getaway in the woods. It has all the amenities you may need, and a little extra-like the very nice hot shower. If you are down at the campsite on the river, you have river views all the time, if you are up at the top, you can simply walk down and get a great view. Would stay again! The glamping option was very nice for when it started to pour down rain. We hung out, played games and still had a great time! Kara‘s instructions were clear and very helpful.

I had such a wonderful stay at Pablo & Lorena’s ‘Invisible Love House’. The property was perfectly secluded, offering a peaceful retreat surrounded by nature and wildlife. The outdoor shower, sink, & bathroom made the experience even that much more convenient & comfortable. There were so many other thoughtful touches inside the cabin (games, books, cookware, you name it). With the nights’ getting a little chillier, they had a heated blanket already ready. Despite the secluded feel, the location was incredibly convenient, just a short drive to both Berkeley Springs and Cacapon State Park. Pablo & Lorena were so friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. Would definitely stay again!

Beautiful location along the Cacapon River! Well maintained property! Crow's nest was stocked with all the glamping necessities plus books, dvd's and games for all interests . Hot running water in the outdoor shower is a fantastic feature and experience!
