Please read entire description and most importantly, there are no toilet facilities, so please pack it out, dig a hole or bring your own head if you're not self-contained. No presents for me or other campers, thank you. 45-acre Historic farm, several sites to choose from depending on adventure wanderlust (including a 4WD drive site). Located on private gravel lane, approximately 1/2 mile off county road. Either corn or soybeans with a woods backdrop. Secluded and private, yet 25 minutes to downtown Annapolis, 10 minutes to the Bay, great for cycling, paddleboarding, kayaking all 10/15 minutes from farm. DC 45 minutes, Baltimore 1 hour. Jug Bay wetlands, wineries, fun little waterfront towns and Bay front restaurants all within easy reach. Check out individual sites for description, each has its own personality. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out. First listing actually has several options. For large campers/coach/fifth wheelers the area by the tractor shed will be the best. Around the corner there's two other choices both with firepits which will accommodate units up to 40 feet depending on your backing/maneuvering skills. Field of Dreams and Sycamore Ridge will accommodate campers under 25 feet with some backing/maneuvering skills. For those with 4WD and an off-road camper/trailer/tent choose Off the Grid, two entrances for easy access, travel along a logging road to an open site with fire pit. Suitable during dry conditions and not responsible for damage to vehicle or camper. Great spot for those who truly want to be in the woods off the beaten path, site takes about 5 minutes to reach due to low-speed access.

Bald Eagle Farm has been in our family for three generations. Today two generations still live and operate the family farm. We once raised tobacco and cattle and have now converted to growing hay and grain. My family wants to share the views and the experience of sleeping under the stars on our beautiful secluded farm. You will hear nothing but the wind, birds, frogs and insects while you doze off or enjoy the dark sky and camp fire. We live on the farm so we are always here to help you out if needed. We can provide you with water from our deep well. We are here to make your stay as comfortable as possible and provide a restroom in the case of an "emergency". Recently named a finalist for 'Best Hipcamp in Maryland'! Thank you SO much for your support and we look forward to hosting you in 2022. There are three campsites on the farm, one by the pond and two by the river. Very secluded and all sites include , firepit, log bench, and a picnic table that seats 3-4 people. PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN FIREWOOD. AT THIS TIME WE ARE OUT FOR THE SEASON. The original river campsite has been moved to a more remote spot so that all campers can access the pond and pier to the river. Farm encompasses nearly 300 acres on the Patuxent River. There is access to the river on high tide via our private creek (must bring your own canoe or kayak) and 150 acres of marshland. Over 100 acres of woods to walk through and a pond for wildlife watching. What a great find in Anne Arundel County. This is a beautiful and well maintained property and only 40 minutes from my front door. Site 1 was spacious and had room for two trucks and tents. Communication was great and Randy provided easy to follow directions. We will be back for sure!

Carol and Dan were amazing hosts. I was lucky to be able to move to Willow Oak 3, which was absolutely awesome. Quiet, remote, and utterly perfect. The site was clean with a nice tent pad for comfortable set up. It’s a simple but perfect plot of land to spend a few days. My dog was also super comfortable and able to be off leash throughout most of the stay.

My niece goes camping twice a year and I hijacked this fall trip. I selected Yates’ site because of the quiet and tranquil surrounding and we were not disappointed. Tucker, Yates’ cousin, met us at check-in with the sweetest dog. We found site 3 easily and setup went smoothly. Site 3 is shady and offers views of the Patuxent River and a nice swampy area below. Loved the sounds of birds, fox…night life. I wasn’t expecting all the Daddy Long Legs and various other spiders. Thank God my niece was there to save me, lol. We brought our own wood, but there was kindling/small branches at the site that we also took advantage of. We played it forward and left the same for the next camper. I would definitely stay here again, just not at Site 3. I think Site 1 is open without the abundance of trees and prayerfully less bugs.

2 nights at Bald Eagle Farm on the Patuxent

I stayed here with my two dogs and we had such a great time. It’s incredibly peaceful. No traffic noise, no people, just nature. Being able to let the dogs off leash without worrying was AMAZING. They ran around, swam, sniffed everything… they were living their best lives. We explored some of the local hiking spots during the day and did some fishing. At night the sky was unreal. You can actually see the stars and moon without any light pollution. We even saw the international space station. Super quiet at night too—just frogs and wind. Yates, the owner, was really nice. He told me ahead of time that his sons would be driving by early in the morning so I wouldn’t be surprised, which I appreciated. Other than that he totally gave us space and let us do our thing. Overall just a really relaxing, low-stress place to camp. If you want quiet, space, and a chill vibe (especially if you have dogs), this place is perfect. This is going to be my new go-to spot.

We stayed at Willow oak 1 n had a very nice carefree experience. Large open area, no electricity hior hookups but we did not did anything. We are off loading n self contained. We had site 2. We arrived later in the evening than we had initially planned due to heavy traffic and construction on the Delaware Memorial Bridge. Randy was super accommodating and helpful and waited for us to arrive to direct us to our site.

Weekend Trip to Greenock Farm

We had a great two-night stay in our 13 foot travel trailer here. We were at site #1 and chose the spot furthest back and it was perfect for us. I’m not an expert with the trailer but was able to position on a flat spot at Randy’s recommendation that gave us a nice view of the cornfields. It was very peaceful, we put the fire pits to use, and had a wonderful stay. It’s pretty local for us and we definitely would stay again.
