Mt. Ash Farm and Cattle Company

3 sites · RVs, Tents167 acres · Fort Kent, ME
I have owned this land for 34 years and it has been my life's work. While I no longer graze cattle here, I do continue to produce hay and harvest timber. The forest and fields are well managed and include scenic vistas, hiking trails and sitting places. Its a place to explore and discover its splendid biological diversity and peacefulness. The farm was awarded Outstanding Conservation Farm in 2003 and since 2009 the forest is a nationally certified Tree Farm by the American Tree Farm System. Visitors have always been welcomed here and the campsites are a natural outgrowth of sharing the land's peace and splendor. From the Top of the World sites you will experience how the world can slow down and the mind unravel. From Spring Pond you will enjoy the calming affects that surround you.

St John River Front Tenting

2 sites · RVs, Tents250 acres · Fort Kent, ME
Very private tenting site directly on the St John rivers shore. Lots of wildlife, serenity and privacy. Great fishing spot especially for bass and muskie. Start your day walking on riverside trail, then maybe a kayak journey on the water, and take off for the day on the hundreds of ATV trails! And end under the star as you sit by the open fire listening to the peepers.

Welcome to our campground, just 5 miles from a mom-and-pop store and 12 miles from a town with all amenities. We offer access to ATV and snowmobile trails, providing a gateway to adventure. Our mostly remote sites cater to tents or campers, and we may approve toy haulers and most campers pending proof of insurance and a simple interview process. There's a spacious area for parking extras, and you'll likely encounter wildlife in our tranquil surroundings. For fishing enthusiasts, bring your boat and enjoy excellent fishing just 2 miles away. The campground offers wide-open spaces for scenic viewing, ensuring a peaceful retreat. Two sites provide electric hookups; however, you'll need to supply your own water. We're happy to address any questions and provide advice to enhance your experience. Feel free to ask us anything – we're here to help.
