The cabin was perfect for us…had a very homey feel with everything we needed. Scenic and quiet but close to town for groceries, restaurants etc. Hosts were wonderful with communication and suggestions for the area. Hope to return someday!

Beautiful spot! We stayed over the July 4th weekend 2025. Had the place to ourselves. Camping spot #1 has a creek the feeds into the Fish River, right at the campsite. Amazing natural background noise. Saw tons of wildlife--Lynx appeared immediately upon our arrival! Bald eagles, deer, frogs and other amazing birds we haven't seen before. The Fish River was warm enough to wade and fly fish in shorts and sandals. We had heavy rainfall on the first night and Becky offered to move us up to a spot with tree cover. Really declined but greatly appreciated the gesture. It's a bit of a trek to Fort Kent but it was exactly what we were hoping for once we got there. Highly recommend!

Matthew and his family keep the grounds topnotch. The covered pavilion overlooking the lake is a great addition. Bathhouse amazing. Kayaks available. Loons calling out at night. Thank you for a great stay!
