Our waterfront property is very private.

Surrounded by trees and a beautiful view of Maces Bay. 

New River Beach is a 10 minute drive, where you can walk the beautiful sandy beach or the hiking trails.

St. Andrews is a 40 minute drive and Saint John is 30 minutes.

Campfire wood is available to purchase.

Our single campground is equipped with water and electrical hook up and a dumping station.

Please note, there is not a toilet on this camp site.

Hunter's Geodome

This dome is located on Grand Manan Island between the villages of North Head and Castalia. The best part is that it is located below the island's "fog line". Locals know of this as the point on the island by the grocery store/gas station, where the sun is seperated by the fog. Enjoy the view of the ferry coming around the lighthouse throughout the day, and the sunrise in the morning!Learn more about this land:Situated on picturesque Grand Manan Island, this geodesic dome has a beautiful view the ocean. This is Passamaquoddy country.Learn more about this land:Hike in, pitch your tent among the birches, and enjoy the quiet. We offer only one site so that you can experience a sense of solitude. We vary the camp sites and let them rest and recover their wildness in between guests. If you are interested in meditation, contemplation and creativity, this might be the place for you. Toilet is a bucket with a seat that you “flush” by throwing leaves on top. 

Blueberry Land Tent Platforms

We have four raised platforms, accessible by car, each with a canvas-covered A-frame, and each with a canvas/sawdust queen size futon bed in it.

Each platform is nested in their own private setting around the edges of our 12-acre organic blueberry barren. Three of the platforms are fully screened-in, with stylish canvas-covered timberframes and circular red doors. One is fully covered but does not have screens.

Blueberry Land is part of Smithereen Farm. Surrounded by woodlands, the barrens is on Youngs Cove Road, near Reversing Falls. 

This is an off grid, rustic site with only a port-a-potty. If you need to use any other amenities, you are welcome to use the WIFI, fill your water bottles, charge your electric vehicle and buy supplies at the Smithereen Farm Store (12 Little Falls Road, Pembroke). That's also where you can jump into the Pennamaquan River to cool off after exploring the town by bike. Note: there is no potable water at the site, you will need to bring a vessel and fill up in town.

There are beautiful walking, biking and canoeing opportunities in every direction—check out Cobscook Shores, Downeast Coastal Conservancy trail by Reversing falls, Maine Coast Heritage trails on the bold coast and at Sipps Bay. 

Blueberry bushes are low, native, fruit-growing, covered in flowers in spring and then berries in summer, turning bright bright red in the fall when kissed by frost. Our blueberries are certified organic by MOFGA and surrounded by birch, fir, spruce and flowering perennial beds to improve insect habitat.  We ask that you NOT DRIVE ON THE BERRIES!

Park in the parking lot, three sites are immediately visible, the fourth site is a further drive down the road, past the port o potty, in the back field to the left. Low hung vehicles beware, if in doubt park in parking lot. 

Upon booking, we will send you a PDF welcome packet filled with helpful information about the farm, local sites to see, and a comprehensive list of our recommendations.  Remember to prepare for MOSQUITOES in summer!

We really recommend you approach Washington County as an opportunity to picnic, so bring a pocketknife, a frying pan, a big cooler for butter and milk, a big water jug, a thermos, a camp stove/kettle, warm socks, and a sense of adventure!

Elmer's Cove

450 feet of cove frontage next to Cobscook Bay State Park. Paved boat launch next door, with a dock, thick stand of trees along the road, and a clearing inside. People marvel at the property and relax. Hand carry launch very close to the campsites. This area of coastal Maine is a
stop on your journey.

Driveway - toward parking area. No 4WD needed, big RVs have driven in with no problems. 

When you come in the drive, honk twice here and I'll greet you.

Your fire stuff. Softwood and hardwood, use a mix. Charcoal, paper, and lighter fluid in the bucket if you need it. A log carrier and a tarp to line your car too.

Robinson's Cottages Camping

The tent site is located on the same property as
Robinson's Housekeeping Log Cottages. The business was started with one small cabin in 1920 by William Robinson and his wife Shirley.
The cottages are located on the bank of the Dennys River, on land owned by generations of Robinsons since 1875. There are 6 log cottages and one small clapboard cottage located on the property. We also have direct access to the Sunrise Trail.

This campsite is located on the bank of the Dennys River and very close to the small pond also on the property. It is a wooded lot with a firepit (wood included), picnic table, and tenting spot. Nearby are a swingset and volleyball/badminton net, horse shoes, as well as a beach on the river. Water bottles can be filled at the Cottages office. There are canoes, a rowboat, and a kayak that can be used for free by campers. Life jackets can be found by the office. We have direct access to the Sunrise Trail and are located between mile marker 79 and 80.
