We invite you to come stay at our location in the Western Maine mountains. We are located off of the Long Falls Dam Rd in Carrying Place Township, in the heart of Maine's wilderness. Our property offers beautiful mountain views; many nearby hiking trails; nearby swimming, boating, fishing and kayaking at Flagstaff Lake; along with numerous back roads to explore and look for wildlife. You can also find ATV trails about a half hour drive away in the town of Kingfield. Ensure you are guaranteed a spot just outside the Bigelow Preserve and everything it has to offer. Our sites sit behind a locked gate that is monitored 24/7 with a security camera. Also, although we are remote, we do offer Wi-Fi for your convenience.
Please take note that our sites are remote. We may be right off a paved road, but the closest town with a store is a half an hour drive. Also be mindful that this is the Maine wilderness, there are wild animals that frequent our location, along with biting insects such as deer flies and mosquitoes. This truly is a beautiful location, but please be sure to pack accordingly for your stay.

We have four (8) studio kitchenettes with various bed configurations, and two (2) hotel style rooms that have a coffee pot, microwave and fridge. We can offer 15a electric at Sites 1 and 4, and we have a small dumpster, one bag of trash per stay is allowed. There is direct access to our private wooded trail system (non-motorized-use-only).
Camp site property is attached to a small hobby farm with 2 horses and a flock of chickens. We sell beautiful blue/green/brown farm-fresh eggs from our free range chickens ($5/dozen). We also offer an optional and customizable "Farm Experience"... collect eggs, brush and feed horses, etc.

We invite you to come stay at our location in the Western Maine mountains. We are located off of the Long Falls Dam Rd in Carrying Place Township, in the heart of Maine's wilderness. Our property offers beautiful mountain views; many nearby hiking trails; nearby swimming, boating, fishing and kayaking at Flagstaff Lake; along with numerous back roads to explore and look for wildlife. You can also find ATV trails about a half hour drive away in the town of Kingfield. Ensure you are guaranteed a spot just outside the Bigelow Preserve and everything it has to offer. In Corinth, the paved roads are considered ATV trails as long as you're heading to a trail (closest trail is less than 4 miles away). I really loved my stay here! It’s a great spot to relax and unwind. The coin operated showers were actually really nice. The cabin had a cozy, rustic vibe that made the stay memorable.
Just a couple things for future guests. The cabin I stayed in had a screened entry instead of a solid door, so it got a little chilly at night. Also with it being so close to other cabins, we had to hang a blanket on the door. Being close to the road means you’ll hear some traffic, and the dogs from the nearby house barked a bit here and there.
The game hall and kitchen area are a little dated, but they were clean and worked just fine.

If you haven't been here you are all missing out!! This is one of the BEST camp sites for tenting i have been to. Danyl and Alpha are absolutely WONDERFUL hosts too!! If you want privacy and have the real authentic feel of camping I would suggest this place! Depending on where you book on site, we had the View and could see not only Sugarloaf mountain but, the stars at night were absolutely breathtaking. The sky was so open with the landscape of mountains in the background. The camp has a series of little outlets to actually spread your stuff out so its doesnt feel cramped. The porta potty is super clean and the town is a half hour for all your needs! My partner and I will definitely be coming back as regulars and this is now one of my favorite places to camp! Book now! This hipcamp was perfect for our overnight stay before climbing Little Bigelow the next day (the trailhead was only 4 minutes from our campsite!). Great communication, and easy to find and check in. The only drawback is that there wasn't a large flat surface to pitch our tent, so we ended up on sloping ground, which wasn't ideal. Other than that, highly recommend!

We loved this spot so much we came back again at the end of our camping trip! After traveling around Maine for 2 months, I can honestly say this is one of the hidden gems — quiet, stunning, with well-kept land right by fresh water for fishing and swimming. It’s perfect for children, and the owners are super welcoming and cool!
We’ll definitely recommend this place to everyone and hopefully come back again ourselves. There are also fun things to do nearby — waterfalls, Height of Land, and some great hikes. Such an underrated area!
