Beautiful property tucked away from it all but still close to hiking and dining. The A-frame was super comfortable and clean, as was the communal kitchen, hang out, bathroom building. Excited to see how everything comes together as they are adding a store and other features. We will be back! :)

The A frame cabins are absolutely adorable. The entire property is beautiful. The club house has everything you need for a wonderful glamping experience. But it’s no joke when it rains - do not attempt with a low clearance vehicle! Otherwise everything was perfect and so delightful! 10/10 would stay here again!

The place was perfect for us. The cabins were clean and we really enjoyed the location. The bathrooms and kitchen were a great upgrade from straight camping. There was only one fire area and no one else joined us, so maybe smaller areas by each cabin would be nice. We enjoyed it very much and I’d love to come back.

Weekend Trip to The Honey Hut
This was a very cute and cozy cabin on a private lot. Its has a great dock to sit, drink coffee, and read a book. The fire pit has a grate which was very convenient. The porch was idyllic and probably my favorite spot on the property. There were lots of birds and butterflies to watch. We had a great time.

This cabin and property is absolutely beautiful 😍. So peaceful and serene and QUIET! Hosts thought of absolutely everything. Early morning canoeing and being right up in the face of nature was so incredible. That upper back porch was everything! Spent so much time there just listening to nature sounds and watching the hummingbirds. Hosts were very kind and attentive when needed. Can't wait to come back!

I loved camping at the cabin. It had a nice theme and the beds were comfortable. The trails around are pretty nice too and it's located near the Creation Museum. I would probably put the A/C unit at the top of the ladder since it was too hot to sleep up there at night.

Nice quiet property with nice lake/pond.
Getting to Daniel Boone National Forest was easy and the town of Mt. Sterling, and its history, is worth going to the Honey Hut in and of itself.
Scott was very awesome. I mixed up my reservation dates and Scott worked it out the day of and really helped out. I would definitely recommend this property.

The cabin itself was well situated on beautiful land with tons to do with outdoor activities. The beds are comfy and the whole cabin shows the love the Handys have had for their property. Our host, Josh Handy, was terrific. The location is a renovated pop up camper which he fashioned with wood from his grandfather’s 200 year old barn when it was torn down. It has an open barn about 30 yards away with very nice restroom facilities, H/C shower and an outdoor kitchen. The land itself comprises part of a farm with both open meadow and wooded trails. Perfect for travelers and dogs. Highly recommended!
