Everything you would need for your camping experience is provided which makes for the ultimate glamping experience. The best river access for swimming and fishing that stretches the entire property! The tent camping location was exactly as described. Short walk to the covered pavilion, restroom and showers which were clean, well stocked, and inviting. Sounds of the surrounding waterfalls were peaceful and pleasant. Due to bad weather we had to leave early. But our visit was nice. Definitely would like to come back and use the tent on the property!

Tent camping in March for someone from the north means you could be the only ones. The site was as advertised and we appreciated being closer to the parking area as we are incredibly unorganized and had to make many trips back to the car Thanks for the nice stay and great instructions on getting to the site Shower was amazing

The site is AMAZING!! Cool outdoor kitchen and outhouse. The stream is GORGEOUS, waterfall is too pretty to describe in pictures. We had the best time and will be back!

6 nights at The Garden

Great space for the nature lover! Being here for Equinox was awesome on the land as the host members are in transition for gardening. The people are very welcoming as I noticed before. The compost toilets are easy to use and clean. I will visit again when the garden is in full season.

What a unique HipCamp! Scottie was a gracious host and greeted us on arrival to make sure we had everything we needed. We were lucky enough to have the whole campground to ourselves. The property is extensive and has many places to explore or swim. The waterfall was gorgeous and the water was clear. We’ll indeed be back! Don’t try to drive down the hill unless you have a 4x4!

Loved staying at the Tent in the Trees. Was wonderful to get off grid. Unfortunately the weather was terrible and we didn’t get a chance to fully enjoy the location. Was storming our first night, I slept pretty good but my wife not so much. The next morning was beautiful but was raining on and off and temperature was going to drop below freezing. We elected to leave a day early but are looking forward to returning in the future. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to truly get away.

We loved staying in Alice's tent for a long weekend. The tent was so cozy and clean. The bathrooms were also very clean and kept up. Even though it rained and it was cold, it was a nice getaway to relax and listen to the waterfalls. I loved the pavilion where you could cook your food and hang out. Alice was very nice and welcoming and checked on us to make sure we had enough heat. I would love to go back in warmer weather to enjoy the water. It's absolutely beautiful. I highly recommend this peaceful getaway.

The space Creekdance is located on 20 acres of prime Kentucky vegetation in the hills of Kentucky. Dry Fork Creek runs adjacent to the entire property. While it is not deep enough to kayak, it is certainly fun to dip your toes in and walk through the ever-flowing water. Several walking paths and bird boxes can be found throughout the property. It is a great place to write, paint, read, do yoga or just rejuvenate and "get right" with nature. Get the best sleep of your life on a Nectar mattress with the sounds of the creek drifting through the window. NEW this year - 125-yard golf driving range available. Golf balls provided. Bring your clubs! Guest access Guests have a private cabin all to themselves. They may feel free to wander around the property, venture onto the walking paths, walk in the creek, etc. The only space that is off limits is my cabin down the creek. Of course, if there is some kind of emergency, feel free to come find me. Other things to note While pets are allowed, there will be a $25 charge per day/per pet, paid to hosts upon arrival. I have a very friendly dog of my own on the property who free-roams. Also, if guests leave their pets in the cabin while they are gone, the pets must be crated. Inside the cabin, the bathroom is equipped with an Incinolet toilet. I find that it is quite efficient if used properly. Instructions will be given upon arrival and are included on the wall in the bathroom. We can only accommodate TWO guests at a time in the cabin due to the Incinolet's capability.

Situated between two waterfalls and featuring over half a mile of river frontage to explore. Float, fish and relax listening to the cascading water. Perfect for bird watchers- blue and green herons, ospreys, hawks, bald eagles and more. You may spot the creek critters- minks, beavers, and otters. Various types of bass, craw dad's and minnows are in the creek. We operate similar to a state park. We are open to the public from 10am-7pm, peak season. We have other listings that are spaced so each of our guests has privacy. Please see aerial photo for an overview. We sometimes have small events (birthday parties, ect) at the pavilion. Please feel free to message us first, if you would like to see if there are any events during your stay. There are 2 restrooms centrally located at the pavilion. One bathroom has a shower with hot water, soap, shampoo/conditioner included. The restrooms are shared with our other listings. There are USB and regular outlets in the pavilion and WiFi. During warm season the outdoor kitchen is available as well. We also rent out a Suite which is located above the pavilion. Quiet hours are 10pm-8am. Pets are welcome as long as they are leashed and picked up after. Please note there is a gun range 2 hollers away and depending on the season, it can be heard from our property. Tent in the Trees Listing: Your tent site is built above the trail and overlooking the creek. The tent is equipped with a queen bed, linens, and extra blankets. Your essential cooking gear (plates, utensils, cups, cookware, french press, coffee and 1 burner camp stove). There is a fire pit with grill and griddles for cooking over wood or charcoal. We supply fire wood for you and you're welcome scavange the wood nearby. Really, all you need is clothes, food and drink! Primitive Camp Site: The rustic camp site is DIY. It is 300' from pavilion, and 600' from Tent in the Trees. We provide a picnic table and fire pit with wood. You bring all the rest of your gear. Typically, you may park next to your campsite. If you have forgotten any gear, please ask us. We have some supplies available for rent. No RV's, converted vans are permitted. There are cliffs on each side of the creek making it the perfect spot for serene relaxation. Following upstream is an assortment of spots to pitch a tent. The most notable sites are surrounded by hemlock tree's and is peaceful when birds chirp over the small rapids echoing from the large overhang *I am in the process of making multiple sites but until I do so it is first come first serve. There are multiple sites at main campsite and along creek, I've had a private event of thirty people staying at once. There are also smaller spots next to waterfall, uphill near cliff and I've had people go below falls for some complete wilderness (blocked by gorge and waterfall). With this being said, I do offer private bookings and accommodate special events! *I travel for work, so I won't always be here, but I will send directions and details after confirmation and make sure all is savvy during. Please be respectful to one and another and let me know asap if any issues arise but truthfully everyone has been amazing and I thoroughly enjoy meeting and getting to know everyone! Covered carport with charcoal grill **Both properties may access the guest grill area, Firepit, and yard. ***Each property has separate driveways and parking areas. Dedicated workspace for remote work with fast internet available on both sites. Come sit in the BIG Bear Wallow Chair! Great focal point for your pictures. Surrounded by farmland, crops, and farm animals (cattle, horses, donkeys, mules) in neighboring fields. You may see deer, and wild turkeys, hear a coyote, spot a bear or bobcat. We do not have any pets. Occasionally, a neighboring cat or dog may wander by. We are not responsible for the actions of any animals that may wander onto the property. Guest access The yard has a fence around 3 sides. Do not go beyond the fenced area as farm crops are growing. Owners have a private fenced-in back yard separate from the common areas. Other things to note: We do not allow pets, parties, illegal activities, or fireworks. Please request the use of the Fire Pit as it depends on wind conditions with crops growing in the fields. We have a charcoal grill available for guest use. You must bring your own charcoal, lighting fluid, and matches. Please let us know if you use the grill so we can clean it out after the charcoal cools. * For the safety and protection of all our guests, we have completely cleaned and permanently sanitized the entire bungalow with LastGerm 2-Step products. This is a non-chemical permanent application providing a mechanical process to CONTINUOUSLY KILL Germs, Bacteria, Viruses, (including Coronavirus), staph, MRSA, Molds, and Mildew. ** We do have a storm shelter on the property which may be utilized by guests if needed.
