A hidden gem in Topeka, KS. Roughly 44 acres and 41 buildings and cabins for your stay. We have a creek that runs through the property and you can bring your kayak or fishing poles. We also have roughly 3 miles of wooded trails for you to explore. There is a playground for the kids to play on, a basketball court, and a sand volleyball pit. This is very camp at the lake style. Bedding is not included for camp bunk beds. Cabins do not have restrooms built in, but we have shower houses on site for you to use. They do have electricity, heat, and air conditioning. We have grills on site for cooking as well as a bon fire pit to enjoy smore's. Dream Acres at Forest Park is 4 miles away from Lake Shawnee. The World-Famous Topeka Zoo is 5 miles from the park. Lots of historical sights and museums close by also.

We are on 7 beautiful acres in Baldwin City, KS. We're in town, but you'll feel like you're secluded in the country so you get the convenience of being close to downtown Baldwin, just 3 minutes away, while also feeling like you're in the middle of nowhere peacefully camping, just you and the birds. Our "glamper" is a 1960's retro camper that has been fully restored. The outside still looks very retro, but when you step inside you'll instantly surrender to the relaxation that awaits. Sink into the pile of fluffy pillows, take in the breathtaking boho vibe and the many amenities including A/C and Heat, wifi, a microwave, television with Netflix, refrigerator, waterless toilet and hand-washing sink. Games and snacks are tucked away in the kitchen area for you to enjoy your leisurely time at The Nest! With a large deck on the front you can take in the views of a nearby pond and a meandering creek which serves as a wildlife highway. Don't be surprised when a deer walks within view or a blue heron flies overhead. The deck is adorned with overhead lights that stretch to a nearby firepit and outdoor sitting area. On the other side of the camper you can snooze your worries away in the hammock, perfect for napping or reading a favorite book. We were honored to be some of the first hipcampers to stay at this property! The hosts were so friendly and welcoming and readily answered every question we had. All amenities were as described, and they even offered to start a campfire for us upon arrival. There are plenty of scenic views to take in, and the hosts provided a variety of seating and shelters around the property. A detailed guide was provided that gave instructions to electronics in the camper, as well as suggestions for local outings, and was much appreciated!

Be aware you need to be capable of back-to-back 90-degree turns on neighborhood streets leading into this location.

We LOVED this spot! It was secluded. BEAUTIFUL view of a pond you can canoe or kayak on. We chose to kayak at sundown & it was absolutely breathtaking.
If you want to take a step away from the hustle and bustle of the real world. Breathe & take in the beauty of quiet nature. This is the perfect spot for a getaway! When we arrived the owner happened to be home. She was very kind, personable, and had a guide to lead us back to our spot. Like they said make sure you have 4WD or park further up the path if it’s a rainy night. We made it out okay but if we took my car we would have gotten stuck.
It was a great stay and we can’t wait to go back.

Absolutely wonderful experience! We were able to order ahead of time as well as purchased two dozen absolutely delicious eggs!!
It was a wonderful nice and secluded space for our dogs to run a leash and enjoy the outdoors!
This is our second time camping here and I know it will be coming back again and again!
The host are so friendly and welcoming 10/10 would HIGHLY recommend this spot!!
