While none of the remnants of the former farmstead remain. The the tranquility of sitting at a campfire on the banks of the pond can let ones mind wonder about what life would have been like living there in days gone by. The site includes a spring fed pond with abundant fishing, predominately white bass. Guests are allowed to keep any fish they wish to eat on site. But please release any others back into the pond. There is a wooded area which provides nice shade for an area to relax from the Kansas summer sun and wind. Campers can also enjoy a camp fire either pond side of underneath the trees. Sleeping accommodations are in a deluxe water proof tent. There are 2 queen air mattress which will comfortably sleep 4 people. There is also a composting toilet on site. Glamping Hosts provide some hot drink mixes, a coffee perculator, pot for boiling water, or making soup, a cooking grate for the fire, some hygiene products. We are working on a solar shower! We are located 2 miles from the Kanopolis Lake wildlife and recreation area. Which includes numerous hiking trails at Horse Thief canyon. As well as 7 miles from historic Marquette with its unique downtown shops and activities: distillery, motorcycle museum, soda fountain shop/homemade ice cream, disc golf course, grocery store, bar and grill and liquor store. Also, located just 15 miles from Little Swedon, Lindsborg, KS. Great shopping and museums, art galleries for you enjoyment!

Gina is a fantastic host with a just as fantastic glamping experience! She made sure we were well taken care of and comfortable. This is definitely for someone who wants to have a more camp-like experience without having to bring your own tent or sleeping arrangements. Gina provided us with more than enough supplies for our stay and was on top of any requests we had. The lake on site was a beautiful addition to the scenery. I would 100% recommend this stay for any outdoors lovers or those who are looking to experience the outdoors.

We stayed one night at Steve and Sharon’s land during our road trip from Nebraska to Kansas, and it was such a lovely experience! My children absolutely loved it — especially the Yut, fireplace and adorable, friendly horses that my younger son couldn’t get enough of. The Yut was spotless, cozy, and very comfortable. It was so beautiful in the night under the moon and stars. We truly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this place to anyone!

One fire pit at the camp site and one by the pond with ample fire wood piled up. I can’t say enough good things about our stay! Steve was great. He showed me around the site and gave me info in his hiking trails, restaurants and more. The site is beautiful and is located right by a field where he keeps his horses. The bed was super comfy. If you go in summer be ready for lots of mosquitoes and bring tick repellent if you plan to hike on his property. I’d definitely go back.

We weren't sure what to expect in Wilson, KS but it was surprisingly pleasant and the kids loved hunting the giant Czech eggs. Wilson RV park was a nice small quiet campground, full hookups, plenty of room to maneuver around and the host was very friendly and helpful. Be sure to support their coffee shop in the morning!
