Camping at Brenda’s was peaceful, beautiful, and filled our hearts with so much joy. Her and Murphy were such kind and friendly hosts! We really enjoyed chatting with her about the dogs and property!
The land is very well maintained and it is fenced in so our dogs were able to enjoy it off leash and they really enjoyed the freedom while I really loved the safety!

We chose Bare Ass Acres for its excellent reviews and for its proximity to the Tall Grass Prairie National Preserve. The good reputation is well deserved: Brenda is a very welcoming host, the sites are fairly flat, with water and electricity, and availability of sewer. You can hear the train, but it certainly didn't keep us awake. We stayed 2 nights. Brenda, we enjoyed our conversations. If we ever travel to this area again we will definitely stay at this hipcamp again.

I would highly recommend this camp sight. Had a camp fire with some wood to use and all the utilities are easy to get to. Best place I have ever stayed!

We loved the peace and quiet off the beaten path. Our rescue dog Gemma loved the wide open spaces- she ran and played until she was exhausted. Brenda is great host, helping us find her farm when we “got lost!” Total hookups. You can hear the trains in the distance. Best night’s sleep in days.
