When we bought this property in 2013, it was a little run down. Many years ago, it housed sheep and cows. We revamped our little 15-acre farm and continue to improve its looks. Now it is our home and houses my riding stable. Many people have commented on how nice it is. I thought this would be a great opportunity to share its beauty and the animals with others.

We have 3 spots to pitch a tent, but we're pretty flexible. If you see another area, please ask!. Site "Woods" is most secluded. We now have a cabin!! Our "Chalet". It will sleep 4 and has some great amenities. The others are around our grassy barnyard area where you're able to enjoy all of our different animals!. All sites are 2-5 mins from the main house. You will be staying on our horse farm. We have many chickens, bunnies, a potbelly pig, feeder pigs (depending on the time of year), and our 4 house dogs. We offer overnight equine amenities as well. There are 2 showering options and restroom available.
You can enjoy a small fire (weather dependent) or listen to the crickets and frogs under the starry night. Actually, you can do it all. We offer trail rides on the horses as well, (extra charges). You can even book a trip to the state park to ride the horse trails, which is only 15 minutes away. There is a great fishing lake less than 1 mile from the farm, so bring your poles and kayaks. Or rent ours!
There is a Dollar General, 2 gas stations, and a liquor store in our tiny little town if you forget anything. Walmart is 12 minutes North of us.

We bought this one acre property tucked in the corner of the woods a little more than 2 years ago from the family who built it and lived here for 69 years. It was all original since 1946! The dairy and the farmland around us has been family-owned for over 100 years! Our little acre has become a sweet little hidden secret to all who visit. Quiet and beautiful, yet close to all the quaintness Fort Wayne has to offer. The sunrises are amazing! For nature lovers, there are so many different birds that frequent our trees, even an occasional Bald Eagle! We have renovated the tiny shed into an occasional repurpose shop and now are opening it up for a comfortable glamping spot! We continue to work on renovating our home to eventually welcome more guests. We feel like God saved this sweet spot just for us, so we can't help but share it with others! This was my 10th visit to Camp David! It was freezing outside, but the cabin was warm, and the campfire was even warmer, under a moonlit sky. The cabin was so cute, decorated with Christmas decorations.
Davis is a fantastic host!

The cabin was perfect and better than we remember when we stayed last year! Titus was kind enough to start the fire for us since we were arriving late. Very comfortable stay for us and our cats. You get an incredible view of the stars when it’s a clear night and the sound of the water trickling in the pond was soothing.

2 nights at Creekwood Cottage
We really enjoyed staying at Creekside. Ariel is an outstanding hostess and was very helpful. The cottage is adorable and comfortable. Since we went in October, we did not need to use the AC or the heater. If I had to find anything at all to criticize, it’s that there’s no running water, so be sure to bring plenty of water to douse your fire at the end of the night. Otherwise, it was a very pleasant place to stay for getting away from the sound of the Interstate in your backyard. There’s plenty of dining options nearby (we decided to try Mr. Weenie.) There was a well stocked grocery just a bit further down from the drive in.
If you bring your dog(s) be prepared for them to get anxious when the coyotes come out at night.

Camp David was a fantastic getaway. To start, the site is easy to find and accessible by stand 2WD vehicles.
The spot feels private. You're in your own little world with a ton of space for the dogs to play. There's swings and benches all over the place for enjoyment.
David is insanely helpful and kind. He stopped by to check in to ensure we understand the generator and composting toilet. His dog is really cute too.
Ultimately, we had a fantastic lazy weekend. The dogs played their hearts out and napped in the sun on the deck. We read our books and carved pumpkins. The firepit corner is quaint and the firewood was good.

Amazing spot and atmosphere. Host was awesome and I felt welcomed. Drove almost 4 hours to reach the location and it was 100% worth the ride. They have an amazing set up. The cabin had everything you needed to spend a comfortable evening.

They even had hand washing stations and the shower was nice after a long weekend of hiking. The kids loved the pond and wanted to stay there most the time. This is a cozy little log cabin next to the sweetest little pond you’ve ever seen! Titus was great at communicating online as well as in person. He made notes and signs that helped take the guesswork out of many things. It was super helpful. I love that firewood was provided and cut into manageable pieces. This place was very peaceful and just what I needed!

I love the privacy and the peacefulness of camp David. The fire pit was perfect, and had plenty of wood. Was able to make a nice meal over the fire using the nice grate, and plenty of room to prep. Sitting on the patio listening to the rain reading was the like a dream. The dogs loved being able to swim in the river, and had plenty of room to run! The simplicity of the cabin is nice for a reset, no WiFi, barely any service, but has everything you could need and then some. Can’t wait to come back!!

Weekend Trip to Sheepy Acres
I loved it all! Absolutely beautiful location! We all had such a great time relaxing, fishing, adventuring down the trail, sitting by the campfire, and just being able to enjoying the peace and tranquility of country living.
The hosts were friendly, informative, and accommodating, as well respectful. The cabin offered just about anything you could think of that you'd need for a comfortable stay. They had little notes of instructions written all around the property to help point you in the right direction or to show you how different things work around the camp site. My dog was in complete heaven basking in the sun and swimming in the pond just to be free to roam as she may. We are definitely planning on returning to enjoy the cabin and the pond some time again real soon. We also plan on making a weekend reservation to stay in one of the shepherds huts before the season ends!

Weekend Trip to Sheepy Acres
My Husband and I had a quick getaway to celebrate his birthday away from the kiddos. Honestly we loved it! Titus really pays attention to all details! We are so excited to take our girls back so they can experience the cute sheep and all the nature. We loved being in the midst of all of the Amish families that were surrounding Titus's families property! I can see this being a trip we make atleast once a year! Thank you to Titus and his family for being so great! 🥰
