We want to share our land with other lovers of the woods, plants and animals. Like good "scouts", we expect our campers to leave the site the way they find it, tidy . Learn more about this land: Our spot is not far off 64 and close to 69. It's a late 1800's farmhouse with an antique barn situated in the middle of an industrial park, so it is loud during the day. Since we've added a gravel parking lot for barn concerts, there are just a few camping spots. Vehicles are welcome. We usually have a portajohn. You can sit around a fire on our property and look at the stars by night (when there's not a fire ban). The Blue Grass Fish and Wildlife Area is a just a bit up the road. You could ride your bikes there, kayak, canoe, fish, etc.

1 night at Hitesville Opry House Park

This place was fantastic! The host, Dick Wolfe, was so friendly and accommodating. He had a great campfire already going for us when we arrived. Plenty of extra firewood, access to electricity, and perhaps the cleanest portable bathroom I’ve ever seen. It’s a family business, and Dick makes you feel like you’re extended family. We will be back this way, and we’ll be camping here!

Thie site was very cute and had a lot of nice amenities like a picnic table, shelter, fire ring, and an outhouse. The host was very nice. We had a great time.

This was a lovely camping spot! The views are gorgeous. The signage and directions to the site are easy to follow. Hosts were communicative and friendly. We love a secluded campsite and this felt like we were surrounded by nothing but trees and rolling farmland. The site was large with plenty of room for our tent and vehicles. We loved watching the sunset here! 10/10 recommend and would love to visit again!

We had a wonderful overnight stay at Bill’s HipCamp! He was extremely accommodating and the property is fabulous with lots of walking trails. The bathroom was spotless and very new in one of his buildings. Nothing but rave reviews for this HipCamp!

I hesitate to give a great review only because I want to gatekeep this spot so it’s always available when we want it! If gorgeous sky and landscape views, privacy, and a cool dip in the pond is what you’re after, you cannot go wrong with this Hipcamp. We enjoyed going into Huntingburg and Jasper for the day, and then the next day, we enjoyed never leaving. We’d live here if we could. Already planning our next weekend getaway.

This was our second trip to Hill Spring Campground, and once again, the pond site was absolutely perfect. The views are breathtaking, and the pond is such a peaceful spot to relax and fish. We even had the treat of watching a rainstorm roll through, followed by a stunning double rainbow—it was pure magic. This truly is one of our favorite places to camp, and we can’t wait to return again!

We loved camping at Bill & Robin’s land. The drive in was a little windy and it took us away from the hustle & bustle. The sites are all next to each other but spaced enough for privacy and they were perfectly flat! We loved the land. It was on a farm with chickens, a turkey, and ducks! We fished on a pond before taking showers in their sparkling clean restrooms. Although they had fill hookups but it’s nice when you don’t have to use your own when traveling in a class B. We had a great time and recommend for a night or two.
