What a great getaway. Awesome spot. You would never know you were so close to any major city.
I like the fact that Rabbit Hash is close as well as Big Bone Lick State Park. If you need stuff Kroger isn’t too far away.
Plenty of room between sites that add to the privacy. Firewood is available as well.
Great place to explore while on property and the “world’s coolest outhouse” is awesome.
This site “Henry’s Holler” is a 4x4 only site that is extremely private. I take my single axle trailer down there with a rooftop tent on it.
I love this as a getaway from Cincy hustle and bustle. Teri and Mike are great hosts.

The campsites were great, we rented two sites and had the whole place to ourselves. Hosts were great, very responsive and accommodating. Beautiful place to stay, trails were great for kids, cabin was neat to explore, outhouse was better than most. Kids loved the trampoline at the Open Sky site. Great time overall, will be going back again!

High and dry. Mostly level site and surrounded by trees. Fire pit and picnic table. Very private. A very short walk to the toilet. A nice Welcome Kit provided. Firewood available. There is an incline at the site entrance. Although there was a light rain, my Kia Telluride had no problems making it up the hill. Teri and Mike were outstanding hosts and had the site ready to go. Communication was excellent. I’ve already made my next reservation for October!

Very peaceful, you don’t even know you’re close to the road/highway! The grounds were very well kept and the pond had great fishing. Cole swung by and checked on us and made sure we had everything we needed! Very kind and personable. Would definitely recommend for a weekend camping trip!

Cole & Janel were great hosts. The property was awesome with great personal space between camp sites. Cole was very attentive to our needs. We had family come to visit for the day and dinner. They enjoyed fishing and the peace and quiet at the camp. For a new private campground that is close to the freeway and shopping, this was a great spot and we will certainly be back when visiting family in Muncie. We stayed at the Eagles nest site which had 50amp power and water. Nice level spot to camp on with 26ft RV. Thank you Cole & Janel.

Cattail Spring’s was beautiful! We enjoyed our campsite and tubing on the gorgeous 5 acre pond! Loved that Cole was open to suggestions on how to make it even better! Enjoyed our weekend so very much!

My favorite vibe this weekend was sewing outdoors sitting by the stream. I loved being able to plug in my sewing machine and make a quilt for my daughter. The owners always greet everyone and this time they even brought me some peaches! I enjoyed watching the other families float on rafts, canoe and hangout with my family and our forest critters. I surprised my kids with these banana split donuts from Concannons in Muncie.

This was the PERFECT camping experience. Amazing communication, little touches that made it feel like more than just a campsite, and entertainment at our site for everyone with cornhole and badminton! My boys were asking when we could come back before we even went to sleep on night one!

2nd trip within a month… already made huge upgrades with especially full water hook up at site….. Cole is great and honestly reluctant to post a 5 out of 5 stars….. cuz, then I may not have “my site” free to escape too!!!!!

This place was amazing! We caught lots of fish, it was quiet, had everything we needed, and Cole is an amazing host. If you need anything he is very quick to respond or drive over and deliver supplies. I will be going back again and telling friends about it.

We had a really nice time at Cattail Springs: The Landing for 2 nights. While we were there was only 1 other person at a primitive site across the water
Pros:
- Quiet even being so close to the highway.
- Site was a really large electric and private site, on a nice bit of water still close to some restaurants and gas stations for extra food/firewood etc.
- There’s about 4-5 other sites but while we were there only 1 was in use.
- The host was really nice and communicative, seems to be making continual improvements which is nice to see.
- The water was really calm and great to fish on! My wife and I both enjoyed catching several fish each and letting them back in the water.
Cons:
- 1 porta-potty (granted it was clean) total. We brought our own compost toilet so it wasn't a problem. No sinks or showers so prepare accordingly
- It may have been this time of year but it mentioned potentially swimming in the water but I don’t think I’d do that (sediment, rocky) but maybe with floaties and good water shoes
For us we went in early July and it was hot so having a popup tent was really helpful at this particular site. Also bring bug spray!
We had a great time and plan to be back!

Cole and his wife have an absolutely beautiful private campground on a great well stocked private lake … catch and release but huge slabs of Bluegill
Came by several times inquiring of our needs…. And continues to improve…. Location is just miles from amenities and Wife and high will be back very soon and highly recommend a visit…. Tent camping to 30 amp and soon to have water hookups

We were testing out a new trailer on Cole’s property for one night and it went very well. Cole came and welcomed us and let us set up in a more scenic area on the property. Very comfortable and our dogs had some freedom to roam a little bit. Thanks guys!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Clean, Cozy, and So Much Fun!
This campsite exceeded all our expectations! The first thing we noticed was how clean and well-maintained everything was—especially the toilet, which was surprisingly neat for a campground. It made the whole stay so much more comfortable.
The hammock setup under the trees was the perfect touch—we spent hours just relaxing, reading, and soaking in the peaceful vibes. And the trampoline? Total win! The kids (and even some of us adults 😄) had an absolute blast bouncing around. It added such a fun, unexpected element to our trip.
Between the quiet surroundings, the thoughtful amenities, and that dreamy hammock nap, this place really felt like a hidden gem. Definitely coming back!

A wonderful little getaway in the Daleville/Anderson area. Quiet little pond with lots of fish, and Cole was a fantastic host! He met us at the location, dropped off some firewood and made sure we were all set. Couldn’t recommend this place more! Can’t wait to go back and try the Cove!
