I have a lake with lots of fish to go fishing, canoeing, kayaking. I also have small jon boat available for fishing. My property also has a outdoor his and hers privys..(bathrooms) No water though. I also have two construction trailers that we remodeled with couches chairs tables and refrigerators and TV's. These have a microwave in them to. These are available for people to stay in if wanted. They also have heat and AC. No water though. They cost extra to stay in.There's also places with camper plug ins. So power is available. Also have horseshoe pit and overhead cooking area. Great place for tent camping also. Have fire pit. And fire rings available. Also have access to firewood. Just no water. Great quiet enjoyable place for getaway to go fishing,canoeing or kayaking. Conveniently located between Peoria and Bloomington Illinois. Only about 3/4 from the Mackinaw river. For those who love to canoe and kayak on the river.
Paddle boats will be available please inquire.
I have several tent camping spots. No assigned spots. They're on a first come first serve basis. The cost is $40 per tent that is put up. Four wheel drive are not needed just recommended if it is supposed to rain. You're allowed to bring more than one vehicle but please check with me first. Thanks. This property features 7.5 acres of prairie farmland with a creek running along the north side of the camping area. To the west, in a separate pasture, are cattle living their best lives!
This property has easy access off a county road, with spacious parking. A short walk down the property and you're at the private camping area. Each site has plenty of space and privacy, which includes a fully stocked camper with bedding, towels/washcloths, hotel-style toiletries, and kitchens stocked with all the essentials.
Since this is a boondocking setting, we provide a full fresh water tank, along with a quiet generator at each campsite for power (first full tank is on us).
Site 1 hosts a 2021 Rockwood Geo Pro 20BHS Camper. It accommodates up to 6 people, but fits 4 most comfortably. An outside, camper-mounted grill is included, which utilizes the onboard propane system. TV is included in the main sleeping area, the back area has 2 single bunks along with the middle area dinette, which also converts into a sleeping area. The full bathroom is in the rear of the camper, with the cooking area placed across from the dinette.
Site 2 hosts a 2020 Coleman Lantern 215BH Camper. It accommodates up to 6 people, but fits 4 most comfortably. Outside, the camper has an outdoor kitchen equipped with a mini fridge, a griddle, and a 2-burner cooktop which utilizes the onboard propane system. TV is included in the main sleeping area, the back area has 2 oversized bunks along with the middle area dinette, which also converts into a sleeping area. The full bathroom is in the rear of the camper, with the cooking area placed across from the dinette.
The outside area also features a full power awning with an LED light strip for additional lighting, and the camping space has a family-style picnic table.
Come enjoy the Midwest's peacefulness right off Route 66 in this relaxing venue that you're sure to enjoy!

Me and my Kids loved this camp. It was queit, cute, and full of activities. There is hammocks, a game room, outside games, a play ground, and so much more. The cabin and restrooms were clean and well kept and the staff was easy to work with. We have a hard time in some places with my autistic daughter and she loved this one. 10/10

We got in late but it was straight forward to get to to the cabin. It's rustic but was exactly what we needed for the night.
We were traveling with quite a few dogs for a dog show and we set up some tie outs and it worked great.
The bridge is a little tight (we had a utility trailer) but it was workable.

Being first-time campers, I was a bit anxious about surviving 4 nights in the summer heat. I thought not a lot of families would do a camping trip for the July 4th weekend due to the heat (and the previous heat wave), but I was wrong! I picked the Firefly Yurt for our family of 3. Because it is located at the south of the wooded area, it gets full sun and felt like an oven in the middle of the day—making it perfect for a spring or fall trip. However, it still worked out great for us because we brought a portable solar panel to charge our mini-refrigerator and cooler. Thankfully, the air-conditioned Learning Center is just steps away. We lounged there when we weren't away hiking at the Relic Prairie Trail or paddling at Starved Rock. The Learning Center is also where we used the bathroom, took showers, and accessed the shared fridge and water cooler (though we still opted to use our own setup). One of my absolute favorite parts was the large hammock nestled in the trees right next to our yurt—I loved hanging out there!
Sam was incredibly helpful. When I asked for a firepit grill, he delivered a few more options for our grilling needs, which was pleasantly over the top! Overall, it was a wonderful experience. I really enjoyed buying fresh eggs and vegetables from the Farmstead to cook for our meals. True farm-to-table camping!

Weekend Trip to Bear Bottom Ranch
Lovely secluded site! Easy to find and drive right in. Nice picnic table to sit at and cook. The fire pit was spacious and well contained. Had a few spots to hang a hammock. Appreciated the site was well mowed and we didn’t have to worry too much about ticks or insects. We didn’t use the Tipi but was cute for ambience. Some scrap firewood provided but I’d suggest bringing in plenty of your own. Would love to come back!

First time we stayed at the Daisy Hill Cabin in October and it was so memorable! This time we stayed in the sunrise Yurt and we had a blast! Sam is always super communicative and provides great informative tours and service. Highlight was picking our own blueberries and using them for breakfast in the morning 🔥 can’t wait to come back! We left Super inspired and love HWF vision and commitment.

Our cabin fit us perfectly- it’s small but you hardly spend any time in there anyways.
The store was perfect for anything you might have forgotten- staff was so kind.
The playground was just enough to keep our 6 year old entertained. We rented a kayak for half a day and so affordable. We left and said “we can’t wait to go back” it was perfect

We had a big group sharing 3 sites (Sunset, Sunrise, and the Cabin + Camping). I couldn't recommend Sam and Hungry World Farm more! The kids loved the hike down to the creek, the playground, and the animal encounters and the adults loved learning about regenerative farming. Sam was very helpful during the planning process. We will be back next year!

Great site. The owners were very kind and had 3 beautiful off leash dogs. Endless firewood supplied. Two horses nearby that you could watch. Isolated campgrounds but close enough to the other sites for comfort.
