The lakes were so beautiful and the floating swan inner tubes were a cute touch. There was a nice picnic area with electricity. The restrooms were clean.

I love this campsite! This is my second visit here and it was just as beautiful as I remember! I love how secluded it is and it has everything you need to enjoy a nice time here. The pond is amazing to hop on a paddle boat and fish here as well! The trailers were great especially with A/C on a hot summer day! Shane is very attentive and made sure we were comfortable during our stay. I definitely will come back a third time!

Secluded sites with lake views

Shane's place isn't too far from the interstate but still very secluded. Very quiet. Shane communicated with us about the location and pointed out all the amenities. He had 50, 30, and 20 amp outlets available for guests. It was very dry when we camped so we had no trouble accessing the site with our front -wheel drive Promaster.

Shane was a great host! Gave us tons of recommendations, and was available whenever needed. Lake had great bluegill fishing, and the multiple grills were a nice touch for dinner. Would definitely come back!

Rustic, Scenic, Quaint Camping!!!

We had a fabulous time here! It was very relaxing and quiet even with the other camping group. We stayed in one of the onsite trailers that was clean and comfortable with A/C and electricity. It was a step up from tent camping that allowed us to stay dry and relax even more. We loved going out on the pond in the paddle boat to fish that were plentiful! There is no running water but you have access to his well water (which I’m sure is cleaner than most tap water these days). We highly recommend a visit! It’s a beautiful area, more than we expected and the host is very pleasant.

My son and I enjoyed the property, mainly went for the fishing and we were not disappointed! Rented a paddle boat which worked perfectly for his lake. His place is perfect for enjoying the outdoors! Will definitely come back.

Amazing Host. Beautiful Property

Shane is a wonderful host! He made sure we were comfortable and had enough firewood to last through the weekend. He also provides a few grills to use, a 210gal water jug for washing, and paddleboats to take out on the lake. Posey Ridge is a beautiful spot with 3 parked trailer homes available to book as well as many perfect spots to tent/car camp. We backed my van up to a great view of the river to the rear and the lake to the right. It was nothing short of a perfect weekend. Highly recommend!

Great Group Camping Experience

We had brought a party of eight adults and two children with us, and could not have asked for a better experience. Shane is an outstanding host who accommodated any request we made. The site is beautiful, the fishing was rewarding, and the kids had a blast frog hunting all day long. We will be returning next year. 10 out of 10!

I loved tent camping here! The property was beautiful and many fish were caught in the lake. The pavilion, picnic tables, and fire pit were amazing. Next time we come, we're going to rent out the entire place! I will definitely visit again. I highly recommend renting the pedal boats.

Fantastic place to camp! View is outstanding, lots of great fishing in the lake and rental boats to take on the water, awesome place for a big group of people. The only caveats we had were how close it was to the camper sites, luckily nobody stayed there during our time, but that may be something to take note of. Similarly the hosts house is up on a hill within view of the site. But there were way more pros, mentioned before along with several grills to use, and giant water tank to wash your hands/dishes etc.
