Escape the city. Find some peace. Restore your soul. Enjoy a getaway at this rustic, unique and tranquil cabin on our 175 acre farm. When was the last time you saw the stars? Splashed in a creek? Listened to a leaf fall? Or petted the cutest baby goat? The cabin is romantic & remote, but if you want, you can seek out folks who love to talk about farming and food. *** The cabin has a compost toilet, but no running water or electricity. You can find those nearby at the educational center. *** THE SPACE The cabin is in a beautiful, remote, quiet location, but is within a quick walk of modern amenities if you need them. The cabin has a new queen bed and cute rustic decor. It has a sink with a container of water for washing up or doing dishes. Thereā€™s a camp stove on the porch for cooking, but NO electricity (except small solar powered lights and cell phone charger.) NOTE: The Cabin has a queen bed for 2 people but can fit a twin size blow up mattress inside, and potentially one on the porch. You can also CAMP out next to the Cabin in your own tent and could probably fit 15-20 more people more depending on your tent(s) sizes. The cabin does NOT have running water or indoor bathroom. An outhouse is located conveniently nearby with a compostable toilet. *** If roughing it turns out to be too rough for you :) there is a restroom with a shower you can use at our regenerative agriculture education center, located nearby on the property. *** Parking/Campingdate! park your vehicle near the education center. There is also a gorgeous glen you can use for camping. Guest access Explore our 175 acre farm with over 100 acres of woods, trails, and roads! See the photos and captions. You will be staying at the edge of the upper part of the farm located next to Daisy Hill, a national protected environmental treasure. Education Center: On your way to your cabin you will pass by our regenerative agriculture education and retreat center, large lawn, resident garden, new orchard with chickens, and a playground. Everything here is solar powered. :) Farmstead: Walk down Acorn Trail to our farmstead. The Market Garden is a work of nutritious art. See if you see the artist, Stephan, in the photos! He's brilliant. Livestock: Most of our animals are on the farmstead. Meet the chickens, ducks, goats, sheep and Bennie the cow and friends. Note that the Sheep will want to have the same conversation with you over and over and over... "BAAA. BAAA. BAAA. They team up with the goats to rebuild the soil, plant diversity, and healthy forests. Sunrise Ridge to Blueberry Hill: Folks used to flock to the U-Pick Blueberry operation from 100s of miles away, but the patch has is old. We've got big plans to restore it, and allow camping on the mile road that winds its way along Sunrise Ridge to the blueberries. Lower 40: Those are them acres you'll see if you drive into Tiskilwa along Bottom Road. They are Certified Organic Corn and Soybeans now, but we envision and Orchard, with animals grazing in between the trees, and other crops that help rebuild top soil, restore watersheds, increase biodiversity, and sequester carbon.

Wonderful Stay and Experience!
Cabin + Camping + Animals on a Farm
Our camping trip was absolutely amazing! The Daisy Hill cabin was clean, cozy, and comfortable a perfect spot to unwind after exploring. Sam was super communicative and helpful, and everyone on the farm was so welcoming. James was incredibly kind and even helped us milk the goats and collect eggs from the chicken coop. Such a fun, hands-on experience! Sarah did a fantastic job sharing the history of the farm and letting us play with the goats. We also loved supporting the nonprofit organization behind the farm. Their mission is truly inspiring and something weā€™re proud to be part of. The farm itself was beautiful, the market veggies were fresh and delicious, and having access to the learning center for Wi-Fi and clean restrooms was a huge plus. Overall, a 10/10 experience. We canā€™t wait to come back with more family and friends!

Camping With Style and Comfort
Farm Pasture & Forest Glamping Tent
The yurt (tent) was amazing. Batteries were provided for charging of phones + plugging in a fan. The bed was super comfortable and the layout of the tent made our rainy day a blast with enough room to still have fun. The firepit is a welcome addition to the site and the hammock is AMAZING. We spent as much time on the hammocks as possible. Overall, the trip was great and the farm tour and activities were a nice break from normal camping stuff.

lovely nature stay
Cabin + Camping + Animals on a Farm
It was a lovely place to stay to unwind and connect with nature. The learning center was a bonus cause we could shower and use the bathroom. The hosts were really accommodating and nice. The farm looked beautiful and the trails were really pleasant to walk around and through.

Raspberry Patch: A Berry Big Tent!
We stayed here this past weekend ā›ŗļø and I have to say that one of the main reasons we chose this camp site was because of peoples reviews and also the Yurts šŸ›– the yurts really got our attention! We got there friday and we met Sam. ( Sam is the BEST šŸ™Œ) while we were talking last details, Sam mentioned to us that next day ( Saturday) they were having a Harvest Festival! So we were going to be in between cars and people going in and out all day so we asked Sam if by any chance there was another spot available? No Yurts were available for that weekend, but then he offered us to stay in the apartments they have on the lower level of the learning center! And let me tell you what a BIG game changer šŸ™Œ having a private bathroom and shower is a BIG + specially for women and kids šŸ‘Œ we had a group of 11 people, so those apartments were more than perfect for having the family under one roof šŸ‘. We really love and enjoyed our stay in this campground šŸ™Œ everyone there was so nice and welcoming šŸ‘ kids love the pizza, the back woods and the creekšŸ‘Œ we had the BEST weather ever šŸ™Œ sunny mornings, chilly and quiet nightsšŸ˜®ā€šŸ’ØšŸ”„ I will definitely have to go back to stay in a Yurt, or in my tent in the woodsāœ… and again THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING SAM šŸ‘.

A Great Place!
Forest Glamping: Queen Bd + Animals
We absolutely loved our time at the Hungry World Farm. Not only is Sam accommodating and kind, the Farm is a great cause that we will not hesitate to recommend to those we know looking for either a quick getaway or a breath from daily life. We had the *best* glamping tent and even got to spend time with a cute farm kitty that wandered into our site. The farm tour was informative, and the vegetables we had the pleasure of getting were delicious!

Mesh Glamping Tent on Farm for Kids
This was our second stay and we will be back! With a bunch of little kids, the farm has really everything you need to make camping easy. The tent is set up perfectly for just showing up and camping. Our kids loved meeting the animals too!

Paw Paw Patch Glamping Yurt Tent
Sam was great to communicate with, quick and detailed. The yurt was great and had more amenities than I'd expected. The only thing I wasn't aware of going in is that there is only one bathroom/shower available for everyone. There was a large group staying at the same time we were so it was difficult to be able to use the facilities when you needed and without a wait.

Tent and portapotty were very clean. It was perfect for us and our 3 kids. It was great learning about the farm and we still felt like we were having a real camping experience. The wood fire pizza on Saturday was awesome. Great for couples or young families

Beautiful and comfortable stay
Farm Pasture & Forest Glamping Tent
My friend and I loved camping on Samā€™s land. We had a beautiful view, the tent was nicely decorated, and there was a huge hammock attached to a few trees by slack lines. Having access to a fridge was very beneficial as well, because we had weather reaching the 90s. We definitely recommend pizza Saturdays. Thank you for the wonderful weekend.

My family loved camping in the sunset yurt. It was our first family camping adventure and it was perfect for our young kids. The yurt was very clean, bed was comfortable and plenty of room for an air mattress. The tent was equipped with solar lights, solar portable charger and fan. It was so great to just slow down and enjoy the farm, farm animals, hiking trails, campfire and family time. The pizza night was absolutely delicious, the farm tour was fun and my kids did not want to go home. We are already planning to come back next year to see the baby goats! Would highly recommended this campsite!

My friends & I were looking for a yurt/tipi to stay in not too far from Chicago when we stumbled upon this hidden gem! We werenā€™t sure what to expect but, wow, what a sweet getaway. We were welcomed right away by Sam & had such a wonderful time exploring the land and making yummy food at our campsite. We got a tour (with others staying that weekend) & it was so amazing (do not skip!) If you love animals, flowers, and want to deepen your knowledge of regenerative farming, this is the place for you.šŸ‘šŸ“šŸšŸ‡šŸŒø

Forest Glamping: Queen Bd + Animals
The forest view glamping tent and site were lovely. The tent was spacious, comfortable, and clean and it was so helpful to have a small fridge and fans for sleeping. The campsite was also large and private - we could hear nearby groups but not see them, and we made good use of the fire pit and picnic table. The farm learning center/restroom were a short walk away and we enjoyed frequent visits from one of the friendly farm cats!

Mesh Glamping Tent on Farm for Kids
I brought my 7 year old for only 2 nights and we could have spent several more days easily. We explored the creek, spent time with the animals, and learned about regenerative farming. The folks were kind and welcoming and the veggies were delicious!! Definitely planning to come back.

Immersive Forest Tent
Forest Glamping: Queen Bd + Animals
We loved our glamping stay at Hungry World Farm in the Forest Glamping Queen Bed spot. True to its name, the tent was nestled in the woods, far enough away from the other sites to feel totally private, but close enough to the bathroom and learning center building amenities to be convenient. The tour of the working farm and gardens was really impressive, and the nearby perennial garden was exploding with color, bees, and butterflies. This is a special property. Thank you!

Raspberry Patch: A Berry Big Tent!
Our family of 4 had a great stay at the Raspberry Yurt. We particularly loved the respite the Learning Center provided us on a hot day. It was great for kids with a play kitchen, large connect 4, puzzles, markers and paper, white board, chalk for the sidewalks, and different learning boards. The fridge and water jug was a nice, unexpected amenity. Everyone was so accommodating and kind, and we loved shopping at the farm store after a tour. Our kids even played with the livestock managerā€™s kids (who were the sweetest kids and helped our 4 year old daughter hold a crayfish).

Great family experience for teenagers. Plenty to explore and wander. Nearby Matheson Park (lower dells), and Princeton's bike shop were also highlights. Would visit again. Sorry to have missed the pizza!

A mid-week getaway to WHF was perfect for me and my two boys! Sam was so accommodating and shared his love for the land, the animals and dreams of the future with us. We had the site almost to ourselves and the amenities in the family learning center were all we needed to enjoy our short time at the farm!

It was serene & peaceful sleeping in a rustic cabin & 2 yurts with a gazillion stars overhead. Sam was a gracious host with a passion for regenerative farming. Very kind, very comfortable, very welcoming. It reminded us to respect the animals, the terra, the planet we inhabit & be grateful. Truly a worthwhile experience to escape the noise & reset. Sunrise Farm Glamping Yurt Tent
We had such a fun time! We stayed on a very warm weekend, but the staff was very accommodating. They put up a sprinkler for the kids, which was a great way to forget about the heat. Our kids loved the farm and were so excited to milk a goat. There was a battery in our tent and cabin with a fan. Any questions I had were answered quickly. We look forward to going back!
