 Six level acres in western St. Charles County. Typical evening and night is very quiet. I have approximately 500’ of frontage on Indian Camp Creek with access to a private and secluded gravel bar. Kayaking activities are available  without shuttle service. Indian Camp Creek County Park is less than 4 miles away offering mountain biking trails, hiking trails, equestrian trails, picnic pavilions, and Frisbee golf. Incline Village Golf Course is less than 1/2 mile away. Cedar Lake Winery is about a 15 minute drive.  I keep a walking path mowed around the perimeter of my property so the weary traveler can stretch their legs after a long day of travel.

You can book multiple sites if you want to stay as a group.

We do our best to allow 1 reservation to stay on site at a time. If only 1 site is requested the others are then blocked to allow guests privacy during their stay. If another person requests to stay and it is booked, we will check with the current reservation for approval. We also allow groups to book and camp together if needed (use both rv pads, or tent camp).

We do offer 50amp and 30amp power options (2 different RV parking sites).

Some people have commented that our driveway entrance seems narrow for larger rigs (Class A's and 5th wheels). We've had 53' long rigs (5th wheels)and 45' (Class A's) pull in and get parked with no issues. You will need to be able to back into a spot for either 50a or 30a service. We do have additional parking available for extra vehicles. 

If you have a tow vehicle/toad, you will need to detach prior to arrival. There are 2 trucks stops less than 5 miles away (TA and Pilot) or there is a park with a large parking area off of David Hoekel Parkway you can utilize.

We do offer 20amp power and extension cord for tent campers (either in our tent or can be used in your own tent. 

Free cold showers available.
A bundle of firewood is now included for use in provided fire pits in needed/requested.

Outdoor Hot showers available at a charge of $5/person. This includes the use of propane and a portable hot water heater. 

Wi-Fi is available during your stay.

Easy access to our place via Hwy 70 (take the David Hoekel Parkway Exit).

We are 5 miles from Wentzville which offers a Walmart, Target, Sams Club, Lowes, Home Depot, multiple grocery stores, Rural King, Charlies and multiple restaurants.

We have a stocked pond with catfish, bluegill, sunfish, largemouth bass, black crappie, carp and turtles. There is a Windmill that aerates the pond (do not climb on it). You can fish the pond must practice CPR (catch photo release). Or you can feed the pond fish & feed out chickens. We will provide the fish food and chicken treats.

There is plenty of wildlife (deer, fox, raccoons, armadillo's, birds, etc.). Deer will walk by the pond and driveway a couple of times a day. We also have a group of free-range chickens and French guineas (eggs may be available during your stay). There are bike trails in the area, paved roads you can ride on to explore, wineries nearby, a petting zoo and pumpkin patch.

Horsehoe Hall of Fame, Big Joels Safari, Multiple wineries in Wright City/Augusta/Defiance, Wacky Warriors Paintball, Busch Wildlife, Katy Trail, Pumpkin Patches and so much more.

Happy Trails Farm Resort

Happy Trails farm is a beautiful refreshing place that you can relax, and connect with the family farm life.

 We were established Oct. 27th, 2007, and it's our "Acres of Diamonds" (Earl Nightengale).

 There are 20.11 acres of farm life to share with you.

 We do many things to help keep the farm going, and moving towards being self supporting.   Such as pony rides, birthday parties, weddings, camp outs, and so much more.

 We sell fresh laid farm eggs for $5 cash a dozen.  To purchase eggs, call or text Nancy (618)601-4645

Pony rides are $30 cash, and by appointment only.  They are hand led, and approximately 20-30 minute.  The child will be hand led around the farm.  If you would like to schedule a ride please message Maryann @ (618)610-9282. 

 We also house and run Happy Trails Horse Rescue (501c3) non for profit, and accept donations.

 Some of the things you will experience and see are:  volunteers helping out;

 horses, mules, donkeys, chickens, ducks, geese, turkey, goats, llama, and many others.

 We are a small and important resource to the overall well being of the community.

 We look forward to seeing you on the farm!

Check-in is between 2pm-9pm. 

No late night check-ins.

Triangle H Farm, LLC

Once a large cattle operation, Triangle H Farm has evolved through being a corn, soybean and horseradish farm before its present use as a horse boarding, training, and lesson facility. As a matter of fact, depending upon the season, you can schedule a tour of our horseradish farm. We are top 10 producers of horseradish in the nation! Come see our 100 acres of camping possibilities and enjoy nature at its finest! We look forward to having you with us.Learn more about this land:Pitch your tent or plug in your RV (30 or 50 amp, or 110 volt) on our 110 acre horse farm. Choose between staying up closer to the barns or out in the timber. We have a nice primitive spot under a 100+ year old cottonwood tree that is near a stream. There is a picnic table there as well. About 1.25 mile down the trail from the main barn is a walnut grove with a picnic table. The same stream runs past the walnut grove. There is a spot for a fire too. If you want more rustic, feel free to cross the creek to the timber and choose a primitive camping spot there. Enjoy mowed trails to hike or bike. Water (from hydrants and hoses) and portopotty are up near main barns. We have 60 horses on the farm as well as goats, cats, and chickens. We do not offer access to horses unless you're in a riding lesson, or have scheduled a pony riding session. We look forward to sharing our little piece of heaven with you!

McCully Heritage Project

The McCully Heritage Project is a 940- acre environmental center located one mile south of Kampsville, Illinois in beautiful and remote Calhoun County.
 We are a private non-profit left as the legacy of Howard and Eva McCully.

Sudden Valley Ranch

Our home was built shortly after the couple married in 1904.&nbsp; We were fortunate enough to begin our adventure here in 1999.&nbsp; We appreciate all this place has to offer - from the hay fields to the woods and everything in between.&nbsp; It is a peaceful paradise we enjoy sharing with others.&nbsp; Please come and relax, read a book, draw a picture, or simply let the sounds of nature lull you to sleep.&nbsp; We believe you will leave rejuvenated!&nbsp;&nbsp;

Matt's Place at Meramec n Labarque

Located at the confluence of the Meramec River and Labarque Creek, my place (Matt's Place) is a ridge above a bottomland bowl of sorts. 
The old iron truss bridge here is likely built in 1910 and it has a survey marker from 1932. 
The creek has a nice little swimming hole, and a beach that is sometimes sand, sometimes, gravel, and sometimes a mix of both with some silt or even mud after a storm. It's peaceful down there to explore in the creek, wade while looking outward to an opening into the Meramec River. It's also fun to stand just at the mouth of the creek in the Meramec River. It's an awesome view upstream or downstream of tree lined banks, rock bluffs, and every now and then, passing boats, canoes, paddle boards, or kayaks. The old iron truss bridge hovers above the meeting of two waters. The water is cool and clean. Some fifty species of fish have been recorded in this creek, the most in all of Jefferson County and St Louis County. The bottomland has two levels, the lower bottoms down by the creek and the upper bottoms about a hundred feet from the creek. The upper bottoms has a clearing like a meadow with mowed grass.
My favorite things to do here include gazing up at a cottonwood tree that must be sixty feet tall. It's leaves in a breeze are like a thousand hands waving hello. The bottomland meadow offers just enough sky to see bats dance in the dusk air between the trees, then fireflies as it gets darker yet. Up top is where I live. 
Just five miles off HWY 44 and HWY 109, at Eureka, MO,&nbsp;(30 minutes west of downtown St Louis, 18 minutes from Six Flags)&nbsp;this place sits on a ridge with great views above  the Meramec River. 

This is site 1. It is on the ridge near an old iron bridge, looking out over the Meramec River. This site is walkable, about 350 feet from parking on gravel drive (near my house) or one may park a vehicle or motorcycle at the campsite.

This is site 2. This site has the most open grassy area for a larger group or for playing frisbee, horseshoes, or stargazing. SIte 2 also has a large picnic table, a garden hose for water, a 110v electric outlet, a fan, and a Weber bbq kettle.

Near Site 2. Labarque Creek is one of the cleanest creeks in Missouri, with 50 species of fish. Great place to put in or take out canoes, swim, picnic, and camp. Great picnic site or take-out ramp for a day trip of floaters. Up near the bridge is Site 1.

Site 3. Great place for tents, and camp or cooking fire. Horseshoe pits are here, and there is a hose that can be used to fill water bottles or to wash sand of dirt off your feet after a swim. Creek 200 feet away. 

This hammock is up close to my house, but of course you can relax here if you wish. I love watching canoes and kayaks float by on weekends. Or bring your own hammock and string it up in the bottomland where I've kept many trees to be hammock distance apart.

SIte 2. Labarque Creek campsite with 8 person tent available as a spare. This is the campsite nearest the creek for those wanting to swim, wade, or fish.

Site 1. Camp this mossy ridge above Meramec River at Labarque Creek, Old ruins of an iron truss bridge, likely built circa 1910. Oaks and sugar maples arch over the ridge like a cathedral ceiling. The view from the bridge is spectacular. Eagles, herons, hawks.

R & T Farms

Your stay will be on our small 5 acres farm where we raise Cows, Pigs, Chickens and Guineas.  We also have dogs and cats.  You can experience life on a farm with all the sounds and smells but not all the work!  Absolutely breath taking sun sets.  The one and only RV spot we have is very secluded and private.  You will have electric and SEWER HOOK UP and can fill your water tank at our house for full service facilities.  We have one tent site available as well.  We are only 25 minutes from downtown St. Louis. Come and stay with us, you will not be disappointed.

Boondocking Guidelines – Please Read Before Booking 

We’re happy to welcome respectful travelers to overnight on our private lot in Winfield, Missouri. Whether you’re boondocking or using our single hookup site, we aim to offer a quiet, safe, and pet-friendly spot to rest. Please take a moment to review the following:
	•	This is primarily a boondocking site – no water, electric, or sewer hookups in most areas.
	•	We do have ONE reserved site with 30/50 amp electric and fresh water available on a first-come, first-served basis. There is no septic/dump station, so please plan accordingly.
	•	No dumping of gray or black water anywhere on the property – use a proper offsite dump station.
	•	Dogs are welcome but must be on a leash at all times and you must pick up after them.
	•	Charcoal grills or fire pits are welcome, but must be fully extinguished with water before being left unattended or before bed. No smoldering coals or open flames may be left burning.

	•	Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM – please be respectful of neighbors and other guests.
	•	Take all trash with you – this is a pack-in, pack-out site. No trash disposal available.
	•	No loud music, parties, or disruptive behavior.
	•	All guests must be fully self-contained (except in the one designated hookup spot).
	•	Feel free to set up chairs, small tables, etc., but please clean up and pack everything before departure.
	•	We reserve the right to ask guests to leave if rules are not followed.

This is a peaceful, low-key place to recharge and rest for a night or two. We look forward to hosting travelers who appreciate simplicity, courtesy, and clean country stays. Our property is covered by video surveillance so please keep it respectful.

Triple L (Loop/Link/Lambert)

Flat, quiet private lot in the city, within walking distance to the MetroLink Red Line, which takes you around the city or to Lambert Airport. You can also walk to the Delmar Loop for food, concerts, and shopping.

Perfect for vans, car campers, and self-contained RVs. This is a dry camping site with no electric, sewer, or restroom hookups on the property; however, public restrooms are within walking distance in the Delmar Loop.

Grove On Top Possum Hill

The Legend of Possum Hill is an old one. Most likely named thus even before the settlers arived in St. Louis. Before the great expansion west and before the Gateway Arch graced the sky. Wild was the west and animals roamed at will never having seen a man. The acient Indian tribe of Cahokia once had its own travelers who left their mounded cities of pyramids to explore and hunt for new adventure. It was on one of these travels a great storm arose from the spring sky bringing ice down from the heavens. The Indian party was hard pressed to find shelter from such turbulent winds, rain and it was even claimed they witnessed some snow blended in as well well!  This particular spring the waters had risen quite high . With this latest storm the creeks and rivers were rushing over their banks. The Indians knew they had to find high ground. They knew they would only be safe in a shelter high enough the raging waters could not breach. Just when they were giving up hope for a suitable place they passed through a low lands grove treading through ankle deep waters when the land started to rise. And rise it did! Up they went up a steep climb and as they crested they found a large grove of hickories, Sycamore and Oak trees. The Indians prized such trees for their strong hard wood and towering hight. They found safety within them and upon chance several hollows in the ancient trees and quickly sheltered themselves in pairs. They weathered until the suns golden rays stretched accross the small pond. In one hollow a young Indian stirred and and he and his companion left their shelter. Reaching back into the tree they grabbed their packs and found hidden behind them, a family of possums who also hIad hid from the storm. Upon return to Cahokia the young Indian told of their travels and remembering the sheltering family of marsupials, he named the place in their honnor because they shared their shelter. And that is the Legend of Possum Hill.Learn more about this land:4 acres with scattered hickory and oak trees with a small fruit orchard in front of an acre size pond. Plenty of space to have a private camp site and enjoy the sounds of nature. Have a sit by the pond or relax in the shade. The evening could be spent grilling or sitting around the fire ring. Perfect for travelers just wishing for a place to stay while an event is in town or just a place to rest their head on the way through. 16 mies from SIUE and Edwardsvile 45 minutes from most of St. Louis. Far enough out in the country but close enough to the city to not miss out on the fun.

The Farm Girl and Friends

This land is a working animal farm. There are many farm animals to see here. You can pet goats, donkeys, rabbits, and many more.

Located off of the Litchfield exit on interstate 55 just 52 miles from STL... Bring your Camper or pitch a tent on site of a working animal farm. If you like panoramic views of gorgeous sunsets, petting farm animals, relaxing in a peaceful setting this place is for you. Just minutes from shopping and restaurants in Litchfield. It’s about a 5 minute drive to Gillespie lake where the fishing is excellent also they have a really nice beach roped off for swimming and it’s free of charge.

Experience taking a nice hot shower in an outdoor shower. Also there is a sink with running water available and a private porta-potty. There is one 50 amp electric outlet for a camper Available for an additional $10 a night fee. Which can be reduced to 30 amps if needed. Please let us know at the time of booking to reserve the electrical outlet otherwise we cannot guarantee availability.

This is a delightful place to be if your searching for that farm experience! Come visit for a night or stay a few days I’ve been told by many of my visitors that they want to live here! Warning if you are not fond of animals or if you are allergic to cats or dogs this probably isn’t a good choice for you.
