We are surrounded by 80 foot cottonwoods, with deer bounding through the neighborhood, owls frequently hooting and pheasants calling for a mate. This home is a dream come true for us! In the course of this lifestyle change, we stumbled upon the idea that we could own alpacas, one of the softest animals in the world, and our numbers are growing with crias (baby alpacas) due each year! Join us for some peaceful tranquility at Windbreak Farm Alpacas, where if the wild winds of Idaho are blowing, you can still enjoy the outdoors! Pull your camper into the quiet serene grounds of Windbreak Farm Alpacas, our camp site is shaded from the afternoon heat by 80’ cottonwoods, and the alpacas, and especially dogs will Love to Welcome you to our little piece of paradise! While you’re here discover the surrounding area's vast options for outdoor play, all within a 5-60 minute drive. We have water available to fill tanks and power is available in “Extras” for $10 per night. We also have room for 1 more small camper up to 4 vehicles in the same party. If you would like to book the second camper, message me and I can open up a second site for the same party. Please check in before 8:30pm.

We are surrounded by pine trees, and it is a quiet place to escape the noise of the world. It is a place to recharge and enjoy the outdoors. Our campsite is close to West Yellowstone and only 30 mi. from Yellowstone National Park. Island Park has a lot to offer including: boating, waterskiing, fishing, canoeing, swimming, hiking, trail riding and much more. All of these activities are within a few minutes away. We are in close proximity to highway 20 and easy access to services and dining. We have a very large parking area where you can park trailers and vehicles. We have about 3 acres and have 5 RV spots. We have a central sheltered picnic area and a big fire pit. Each pad is rented at $40 a night with provided 50 amp and 20-amp camper power. No water or sewer is provided. There is a porta potty on location from May 24th-Sept. 30th 2024. Must pack out all of your trash or be a accessed a cleaning fee per lot. Although wanting to keep this campground in a primitive state, we will be adding a few updates in coming years. Pets allowed on a leash.

Beaver Springs Rd. then a right on Glen tree Road continue along Glen tree and take a left on Wooded Ln, up this lane approximately 2 to 3 blocks the property is on the right marked with orange fence posts, it is a primitive camp site horse shoe around a fire pit. Please don’t burn garbage or cut down any trees. The road is very bumpy please take it slow. 4166 Wooded Ln.

The space The Mini Moose is a spacious 325 square feet with a small loft for additional sleeping. I designed the space with Yellowstone travelers in mind. Guest access Your adventure begins the moment you leave Island Parks buzzing highway 20. You will be on dirt roads for about 2 miles. The roads are well maintained and do not require 4 wheel drive but they can get a bit muddy during the rainy season. Please be mindful of the posted 15 mph speed limits along the way. Other things to note: There are three structures on the property: The Treetop Loft, the Tiny Timber your Mini Moose. Each building has a sign, its own entry codes, its own designated parking and ample space for privacy. The neighborhood is amazing. It's safe, well maintained and full of friendly seasonal locals. You wont feel like a tourist here!

This gorgeous nature area is minutes from town, with easy access to HWY20 and HWY33. Deer, moose, bald eagles and osprey frequent the area year round, as well as beaver, waterfowl and night owls. RV dumps right down the road, as well as a 27 hole golf course, if that's your thing. Or just relax, dip your feet in the Teton River and listen to the water pass by. Note: River levels fluctuate over the season. We've tried to take pictures of all water seasons for reference.

This is a beautiful peaceful place where I like to go to spend time away from the noise of the world and recharge and enjoy all the things of nature, float and fish the river and lakes walk through the trees and wild flowers. It is close to West Yellowstone and Yellowstone National Park. This land has been in my family for nearly 50 years and my parents wanted to keep it in a primitive state but we will be adding a few updates in the coming yearsLearn more about this land:(#1)From Ashton Idaho follow Highway 20 about 30 miles to Yale-Kilgore Rd,(#2)From W.Yellowstone it is about 26 miles to Elk Creek #1 take a left turn and #2 a right turn follow this road until you cross McRae bridge then continue to a right turn onto Yale Creek Road then left at the split in the road onto Hotel Creek then right on S. Beaver Springs Rd. then a right on Glen tree Road continue along Glen tree and take a left on Wooded Ln, up this lane approximately 2 to 3 blocks the property is on the right marked with orange fence posts, it is a primitive camp site horse shoe around a fire pit. Please don’t burn garbage or cut down any trees. The road is very bumpy please take it slow. 4166 Wooded Ln.
