What to Expect
- Country landscaping with native plants and pollinator-friendly “weeds.” Goathead stickers are common in rural Idaho.
- Shaded areas, open skies, and seasonal views of horses grazing.
- Yardwork happens around our schedules and between guests.
Garden & Fruit
From July to October, guests may enjoy cherries, raspberries, apricots, peaches, plums, pears, and apples—depending on weather and timing. Just ask before picking, as not all fruit may be ripe or reachable.

- Site 1: Full hookup with 50amp (30amp converter available) and water.
- Site 2: Covered RV Bay with 30amp and water—fits big rigs and slide-outs.

Our property is 4 miles from BLM, 5 miles from the Mammoth caves and 10 miles from the Ice Caves. You may be greeted by horses, cattle or dogs on our property, and it's quite possible that you will encounter snakes 🐍 and hear coyotes at night (light sleepers take this into account). We do not have designated areas but, please don’t block the turn around area to the far south, please park wherever you desire, walk your route as this virgin ground has many rocks. 🪨 If leveling is an issue & you need to block the road, let’s verify we have no other campers coming.
There is a runoff river that runs through the property in the early spring but, rarely has water, however, it has amazing lava rock (similar to Black Magic Canyon which isn’t far away); We also like to use it for campfires! Do not drive into the river bottom unless you have 4WD.

We raise Wagyu beef & offer liver dog treats, sourdough bread, we often have dozens of eggs on hand from a local chicken farmer and I make tallow lotion with a dear friend! There’s also a great new swimming pool and park to visit with a playground. We are also located 15 minutes away from the world famous City of Rocks National Park and Castle Rocks National Park. We also are 10 minutes away from the Oakley Reservoir which has great fishing and kayaking there’s plenty of mountain roads to adventure on and see wildlife.

Beautiful spot with a great view of City of Rocks and easy access to climbing areas. The campground was well laid out and everything was in good repair. It looked like they were working on improvements for next season - building nice little shade/ wind breaks in the tent sites. Cell coverage was weak in spots between I-84 and Almo when coming from the south so make sure you download directions.

We pulled our 19ft camper right next to the Gorge Edge…..with the Sanke River below. UNBELIVABLE VIEWS.. It is all self contained but well worth it. Well laid out, we moved to smaller site once we arrived. Great views, easy set up, great showers. Steve, the host, helped us find our way in the dark on late arrival and came over to make sure we got hooked up ok. Highly recommend- right next door to city of rocks.

If you find yourself near Twin Falls and you want to find some solitude and sit cloae to the edge and stare out at an expansive canyon with the light playing on waterfalls at sunrise and sunset, then this is your place! Way better than being tucked in between 2 RV’s at an RV Park!

We enjoyed staying in our camper van. The hookups were convenient, the shared bathroom was perfect, and the fruit trees were a hit with my wife. We also enjoyed a beautiful sunset shortly after arriving.

Was nice to be away from a crowded camping site. He also responded quickly when tried reaching him with a question about his location. Would definitely recommend staying here!

We made a late reservation through Hipcamp. I messaged Arte and Alexandra and they were quick to respond. They answered all my many questions promptly. We tent camped in their driveway while 2 other rv campers were close by on the same property. The farming next to the property was very loud the next morning…early. I had no problem with the owners or property. I felt safe and comfortable. They have a small orchard on the property with the best green apples!!
I would camp there again.
