Weekend Trip to Teton Views

Communication with the host was easy and the glamper was more than I expected super clean and the bed is amazingly comfortable! It was very quiet and you can hear the seasonal stream. Will visit again.

Serene. Picturesque. Friendly - treats you like family. My 2-night stay was exactly what I needed. Unique weekend where I participated in the Grand Teton Half Marathon, and I was traveling alone (50+, male), and using my tent-attached-to-my-Jeep. Heather graciously (1) allowed me a flexible departure time that we discussed upfront, (2) worked proactively to provide me with the amenities I requested - water, electricity, wifi, wood, and (3) asked fory honest feedback on how she could have made my stay better. Being new to this business endeavor, Heather wants to provide the services that customers are asking for. Heather is 5-stars from me. My only suggestions, aimed at helping her business become a desired destination, are as follows: (1) Setup a fixed water spigot and electric outlet at the site where you want tent campers to stay (less work for Heather, more ease-of-use for the customers who request these amenities. (2) guest outhouse or equivalent. A single male have very different requirements than the various other guest combinations that could be encountered. Views are tough to beat. Quiet time by the fire pit are valuable. Wifi is a great touch. I was able to work remotely without interruption. Thank you Heather, for such an easy stay.

There’s not much to say the beauty of this space speaks for itself. I was incredibly impressed just how well put together the space was laid out and the view, unique. Needless to say it was worth every moment spent here and I would absolutely return. The host was super attentive and ready to help. Loved this site the most since I’ve joined Hipcamp a few years ago!

4 nights at The Park at Swan Valley

Beautiful location and scenery. A little far from the Tetons but we still drove I. 2 days. The tiny cabin was adorable lots of room, good bed and nice bath. The only issue was the lack of hot water.

What a gem this is! Just starting, but have some great plans! The view. Just WOW! Super dog friendly! The best part may be the history of the cabin. A really great story and a lovely cabin on property. Heather and Mom were just so nice and welcoming! Really enjoyed meeting them!

5 nights at Camp Steelhead

Site is only about 30 minutes from the West Yellowstone entrance, which is fantastic. Electric and water hookups worked fine, and the portapotty was very clean. Host was kind enough to bring some dry firewood after we received some snow and rain over a couple of days, which was very considerate. Site was very quiet (We had it to ourselves) for the first 4 days, but once Friday hit, it became quite a bit noisier and busier. Granted, this was the Friday before Memorial Day. Several ATV’s and dirt bikes going up and down the road right next to the site. Once the weather began to warm up, there were some mosquitoes, so bring bug spray. Overall it was a good experience and we would definitely consider the site again should we visit Yellowstone.

Fantastic view of the Tetons in a beautiful setting. I was only passing through for the night and couldn’t have picked a better place! Joy welcomed me when I arrived and showed me around. I would definitely make a point to come back if I am traveling through the area again. Loved it!

We loved the mountain views from this camp site. Just spectacular! Easy pull through site for our RV. Easy hook up to water, electric and sewage dump tank. We would absolutely return for another stay! Staff was wonderful and friendly. Very responsive!

1 night at Ranchita Corazon of the Tetons

Great spot for a one night stay on our way to Montana. Joy is super cool and generous. We stayed on a cold night in late Feb but made an adventure of it and loved the sauna! Driggs and Victor are awesome little mountain towns with cool stuff to do. Joy’s view of the Tetons is epic.

Angell Creek Campground

Angell Creek Campground is located in beautiful Island Park Idaho. It has been in our family for over 50 years. We are surrounded by pine trees, and it is a quiet place to escape the noise of the world. It is a place to recharge and enjoy the outdoors. Our campsite is close to West Yellowstone and only 30 mi. from Yellowstone National Park. Island Park has a lot to offer including: boating, waterskiing, fishing, canoeing, swimming, hiking, trail riding and much more. All of these activities are within a few minutes away. We are in close proximity to highway 20 and easy access to services and dining. We have a very large parking area where you can park trailers and vehicles. We have about 3 acres and have 5 RV spots. We have a central sheltered picnic area and a big fire pit on each RV spot. Each pad is rented at $40 a night with provided 50 and 20 amp service with an adapter provided for 30 amp service. No water or sewer is provided. There is a porta potty on location from mid May until end of October. Must pack out all of your trash or be a accessed a cleaning fee per lot. Although wanting to keep this campground in a primitive state, we will be adding a few updates in coming years. Pets allowed on a leash only.

We are very close to hiking, hot springs, rapelling, 200+ miles of ATV and SxS trails, golf, mini-golf, a driving range, skiing, ice cream parlor and two restaurants, and the mighty Snake River corridor right across the road. 90 minutes to the east to Jackson/GTNP/then South Gate in YNP (2 routes-- the mountain pass or the easy Snake River route), and 90 minutes to the north to West Yellowstone/Yellowstone West Gate (2 steep mountain passes). Both routes are beautiful with waterfalls, gorgeous mountain views, and Idaho countryside. We are 20 minutes from Bear World in Rexburg, and less than two hours from Grand Teton Park and Yellowstone National Park regardless of which of the four routes that you take, with each route including a beautiful waterfall. 90 minutes to the east to Jackson/GTNP/then South Gate in YNP (2 routes-- the mountain pass or the easy Snake River route), and 90 minutes to the north to West Yellowstone/Yellowstone West Gate (2 steep mountain passes). Both routes are beautiful with waterfalls, gorgeous mountain views, and Idaho countryside.

Overview

The small city of Rexburg sits on the southeast side of Idaho. This city is a popular staging area for travelers headed to Yellowstone National Park. It's just over the state border in Wyoming. Grand Teton National Park, also in Wyoming, is less than two hours away. If you're looking for a unique way to relax, hit Green Canyon Hot Springs east of the city. Here you'll find mineral pools that go up to 105 degrees. Tent camping spots and RV hookups are available on the outlying grounds. Travelers coming through via RV often choose Wakeside Lake RV Park. The lakeside location allows for excellent swimming and fishing. You can even rent a kayak or paddleboard for some more water fun. Snake River RV Park in nearby Idaho Falls is another good option for RV drivers. Mountain River Ranch in Ririe offers full RV hookups, cute cabins, and tent camping. Anglers shouldn't miss a chance to cast a line in the ranch's teeming rainbow trout pond.
