Be advised this is directly next to State Highway 3. If you are a light sleeper, or road noise bothers you, this is not the campsite for you.
At the camp, you can launch your kayaks at the river to go for an adventure down through the Chain Lakes, all eight are accessible by the river adjacent to where you will sleep.
The bird and wildlife watching in this area is world class. Ospreys, hawks, turkeys and other animals commonly hang out in these parts.
You can go for a swim at one of the sandbars, take your dirt bikes or side by sides down Killarney Lake Road to access an extensive network of trails and dirt roads into remote wilderness.
There is no cell service, no water or electrical hookups, or toilet. As beautiful as it is, your experience will not be “glamping” unless you come with all the comforts you personally desire.
You can hunt on the forest service land by 4th of July Pass, fish on the river, or on the Chain Lakes (with the proper permits, of course).
There is a access into the water from camp but it is quite steep. For easy access to the water, use the docks or boat launch at Killarney Lake or Bull Run.
Pets and kids are allowed at your own risk. Be advised the highway and river are hazardous for off-leash animals and rambunctious toddlers.

very nice, quiet, beautiful place not a lot of people or spaces so that’s the best part. Wallace is a fun place to explore and Kellogg and we drove up through the mountains to this famous snake pit Restaurant the whole trip was just full of history.

We’ve stayed here twice so far with friends for a quick weekend getaway. Nice flat site, easy to set up camp and lots of trails to explore on SxS. We went out riding to the Bedroom Goldmine Bar, huckleberry picking and checked out Glideen Lake. Close to town too for going out to dinner or walk around town.

Our entire party (3 campers) enjoyed Lisa’s land. We played corn hole on her lovely green lawn. Listened to the rushing creek at night. Went side by siding into the gorgeous scenery nearby and took the short trip to Wallace Idaho for some good food and drinks. We will be coming back each summer.

We loved staying at Robert and Mary’s ranch! The property is so quiet and beautiful, it was a great retreat. The spot is very private and we were lucky enough to walk the land and get a tour. Robert and Mary are very friendly. This was probably our favorite Hipcamp property thus far!

This Hipcamp provided a peaceful night in a beautiful location. We did take advantage of the electrical hookup. It was 50 amp with great voltage. Water was offered, but we didn't need any. Lisa was great at communicating and was there to guide us to our site. She was very personable and interesting to talk to. We stopped in the historical mining town of Wallace close by before going to the Hipcamp and were glad we did. We wish we could've stayed longer.

If you have a chance to camp here, take it! The views are beautiful, it’s quiet and peaceful, and such a short distance to town. We rode our bikes across the bridge into town several times. Cindy is very helpful and communicative! We would definitely stay again if we were in the area!

My family and I enjoyed this campground alot! The sites were very well maintained and the host were very polite and helpful. The surrounding area offered a lot of hiking and it was a short drive to Wallace. I highly recommend this site to all visitors!!
