Weekend Trip to Sandhill View Ranch Campsites ⛺️

We had a great stay! The campsite was clean and I loved the large picnic table and built in gas fire pit that was at the site. The site is plenty big enough for our 32’ 5th wheel and the setting is very peaceful. It was easy to get to and Heather, Tyler’s wife, did a great job showing us around. She was so kind and treated us like friends! I definitely recommend staying here.

We stayed at Tyler's spot with our Class A for one night on our way down to Utah. Having hook ups out there in the middle of nowhere was really nice! The grassy area for our dogs to run around on was fabulous. Nice view, weather was great, close off highway but far enough you can't hear or see it. Not much to do in the area so not sure you'd stay here for sightseeing, but it's a perfect spot to stay on your road trip for an overnight. Should we come by again I will definitely keep in mind to stay here on the way to our next adventure!

A beautiful spot to camp, sorry I only had one night to stay. Very quiet Ron was friendly and very quick to answer questions. I will come again.

Great spot and was exactly what I needed as I was working remotely and needed to spend my time outside of work driving. Tyler’s place was beautiful, quiet, easy access to the highway / Boise, and plenty of cell service. Tyler was super nice and I felt very safe and peaceful there!

This was a sweet place with a fire pit and lots of cute flowers and garden art. Terri was super nice and it was a peaceful place. Dogs were adorable and friendly. Thank you!

Tyler was a great host! I failed to book properly and got the RV site when I meant to book the Airstream. Lucky for me that no one had booked it for that weekend and we were able to work it out! I loved sitting out at the picnic table in morning to look over the valley while drinking coffee. At night it was a glass of wine under the stars and the twinkling lights of the city off in the distance. It was peaceful there and very restorative. I loved watching the sky with all it's variations of weather off in the distance. The surrounding properties were distant and quiet. One review mentioned the freeway, and you could hear the traffic, but it was far enough away that it was easily tuned out while listening to the birds twitter and call. The place was easy to find with gps.

Ron was wonderful. We didn’t get to the farm until 10 pm and he waited up to make sure we knew where to park and showed us where everything was in the camping spot. The horses and mini horses were awesome!

This was our maiden stay in a 5th wheel we had just purchased. Decided to find somewhere close to our daughters house. There are full hookups. Cement pad and dumpster. Nice big area to walk your dog. Horse's across the street. Green fields and beautiful mtns. To the south

6 nights at Murphys Point Alpaca Ranch

Drew is such a gem in the beautiful gem state. We were blessed to get to meet all the animals and enjoy some fresh chicken eggs. Our RV had to go to maintenance shop and so we were in and out of the spot, but Drew was so understanding and it was never an issue. And with a big rig, we had our reservations. It was delightful to have someone understanding host us. We will be returning to Idaho in the coming months and would not hesitate to book again.

We stayed 8 days. It's a nice country setting. Full hookups, cement pad. We had just bought our 5th wheel so this was our maiden stay which was somewhat close to our daughters. We did experience road noise, but nothing can be done about that. Beautiful views to the south. Colton responded quickly. We would stay here again.

MPR is a small pocket farm that started with a Lab and a few chickens. The Alpaca herd has grown this summer with the first baby of the season born in June. There are 14 total with 3 babies. We have fresh pasture raised eggs for sale from the 30+ chickens. Meeting the animals and farm tours can be arranged in advance. Our 4.5-acre farm has been transitioned into a sustainable Idaho farm and is 100% solar powered, including one of the first electric tractors in the state. Wilson Springs Pond is half a block down the road. This 55 acre nature area offers many walking paths and is home to many birds, both resident and migratory. It is also a popular urban fishing destination. 1. RV's must be in good shape and fully functioning. NO Car or MiniVan Camping. 2. Pets are NOT ALLOWED for their safety and that of the animals. Dogs are prey animals in the eyes of an Alpaca and they will kill a dog if it gets too close. 3. No Smoking or Vaping. 4. No Generator use, we have 30 amp service. 5. Quiet Time 9pm - 8am
