Murphys Point Ranch is located 3 miles from historic downtown Nampa located in the heart of the Treasure Valley. MPR is a small pocket farm that started with a Lab and a few chickens. The Alpaca herd has grown this summer with the first baby of the season born in June. There are 14 total with 3 babies. We have fresh pasture raised eggs for sale from the 30+ chickens.
Meeting the animals and farm tours can be arranged in advance.
Our 4.5-acre farm has been transitioned into a sustainable Idaho farm and is 100% solar powered, including one of the first electric tractors in the state.
Wilson Springs Pond is half a block down the road. This 55 acre nature area offers many walking paths and is home to many birds, both resident and migratory. It is also a popular urban fishing destination.
1. RV's must be in good shape and fully functioning. NO Car or MiniVan Camping.
2. Pets are NOT ALLOWED for their safety and that of the animals. Dogs are prey animals in the eyes of an Alpaca and they will kill a dog if it gets too close.

The address to the house next door is 519 MiddleFork Rd, Garden Valley, ID 83622. That will get you to the property. The property is right after 519 it is a large open lot that leads down to the river. There is a black military vehicle parked on the very end close to the house.
So there are two sections 1st is a flat section where you have plenty of room to set up tents and RVs. It is right off the road, and any car can get to the site with ease. The 2nd section is more wooded and has access to the river. You are welcome to tent camp here it is just getting an RV down there and out can be a challenge I don't recommend it. Also, the bridge across the river is the neighbors and so is the property across the river. There are roughly 4 campsites on the property but can camp where you want really.
Large flat spot above the river that has access to the water. Half of the property is a flat spot for RV's and tents the 2nd half is more green, woody and has access to the river. There is a deeper spot in the river that is 3-4 feet deep and is perfect to lounge in during the hot parts of the summer. Please pack out what you pack in and keep the place nice for the next camper. It is surrounded on all sides by Payette, Salmon-Challis, and Sawtooth National Forests, it is situated conveniently close to both urban fun in Boise, and limitless wilderness adventures everywhere else. Catherine is a very Fine Host. And her place is accommodating and roomy. She also has a water hose that's long enough to reach your Trailer. Which was nice. Although not level, experienced RV'ers,(unlike me) can remedy that. It's close to the street, which doesn't bother me a lot.(LA Traffic) She has a Beautiful Place. And was very close to where I had something to do. Thank You.
