Yurt Camping on Arcadia Reservoir

Learn more about this land:Four-season yurt that can sleep up to 6 adults and up to 10 total.  Access by vehicle (summer) or snowmobile (winter).  Separate indoor kitchen/eating areas vs sleeping area (inside sturdy vinyl Army tent).  Wood stove inside the tent will keep you warm all night.  Bring your own sleeping bags, food, and water.  Primitive outhouse near the yurt.  So much to do - so much to see (moose and deer are commonplace).SUMMER: Access to private lake: swimming and fishing and boating (no gas engines allowed).  Private sand dune area for ATVs, with access to hundreds of miles of public land trails.  St Anthony Sand Dunes, Civil Defense Caves, Ice Caves and Island Park Reservoir are all accessible on an ATV day trip.  Yellowstone National Park is an 80 minute drive, though accessing the property requires a 6.5 mile drive on a dirt road, a total of 25 minutes from Ashton.  Two campfire rings on the property to choose from for your evening gatherings.

Wood is provided for a fire in the tent stove or outside if you like.

Inside this structure is a 16X16 Army tent, with a 8x20 kitchen area.

Windbreak Farm Alpacas

In 2016 we decided to bite the bullet, sell our city home, and move out into the country to fulfill our dream of owning a bit of property! We lucked into a charming country home on a calming 2.5 acres. We are surrounded by 80 foot cottonwoods, with deer bounding through the neighborhood, owls frequently hooting and pheasants calling for a mate. This home is a dream come true for us! In the course of this lifestyle change, we stumbled upon the idea that we could own alpacas, one of the softest animals in the world, and our numbers are growing with crias (baby alpacas) due each year! Join us for some peaceful tranquility at Windbreak Farm Alpacas, where if the wild winds of Idaho are blowing, you can still enjoy the outdoors!

Pull your camper into the quiet serene grounds of Windbreak Farm Alpacas, our camp site is shaded from the afternoon heat by 80’ cottonwoods, and the alpacas, and especially dogs will Love to Welcome you to our little piece of paradise! While you’re here discover the surrounding area's vast options for outdoor play, all within a 5-60 minute drive. We have water available to fill tanks and power is available in “Extras” for $10 per night. We also have room for 1 more small camper up to 4 vehicles in the same party. If you would like to book the second camper, message me and I can open up a second site for the same party. Please check in before 8:30pm.

The Aspen Grove Inn at Heise Bridge

In the beautiful Idaho countryside,  our Inn was created in 1999 at the booming year-round recreation hotspot called Heise-Kelly Canyon.  

We have a wide variety of rooms and sites. Including:

4 log cabins that sleep 4 in 2 queen log beds with mini kitchenettes, 3 sources of heat, and en suite bathrooms

4 Moonlight Cottages with AC and heat that sleep 5 or 6 in 2 queens and one or two twins, mini-kitchenettes, and just a few steps away is the deluxe no-fee Loo-uvre Restroom and Shower House

Two 20' diameter year-round yurts with themed decor-- each sleeps 4 in one queen and two twins with all bed and bath linens, plus a very well-stocked kitchen, and a firepit, pergola, picnic table and Char-griller charcoal BBQ outside.

Camper trailers-- 16' vintage camper Little Buffy that sleeps 2 and has a mini-kitchenette and guests use the Loo-uvre Restroom/Shower House close by, as well as the Teton Retreat Camper Trailer that sleeps 6 or 7, has a sitting area and a full kitchen plus a half bath. 

New to the Lodge is Adirondack-style "The Bunkie" that sleeps 6 or 7 plus has a desk, microwave and fridge. 

All bed and bath linens are provided in all of our rooms. Firepits are a-plenty!

Our Inn also has great tent sites, plus both 30 amp and 50 amp RV/Camper sites with water and electric, a firepit and picnic table each, plus a fee dump station. We are currently planning/building another shower/restroom house and a laundry mat. There is a fee dump station on site.

With over ten acres of property to play at and stroll, your stay will be one of fun, peace and quiet. Our RV & Camp is fun! We have our famous Borrow Barn with loads of complementary activities including a 9 hole disc golf course with maps/disc/scorecards, free pedal boats, Little Free Library #69967, volleyball, tetherball, badminton, board games and more, plus our cruiser bicycles in our Bike Corral are for guests to enjoy on property also. Children must be watched always and very closely-- enjoy being with your children on the property. 

A beautiful Restroom and Shower House is fee free. 

We are located in the Heise-Kelly Canyon of southeast Idaho with fabulous sunrises and sunsets. 

We are very close to hiking, hot springs, rapelling, 200+ miles of ATV and SxS trails, golf, mini-golf, a driving range, skiing, ice cream, and the mighty Snake River corridor right across the road. 90 minutes to the east to Jackson/GTNP/then South Gate in YNP (2 routes-- the mountain pass or the easy Snake River route), and 90 minutes to the north to West Yellowstone/Yellowstone West Gate (2 steep mountain passes). Both routes are beautiful with waterfalls, gorgeous mountain views, and Idaho countryside. We are 20 minutes from Bear World in Rexburg, and two hours from Grand Teton Park and Yellowstone National Park regardless of which of the four routes that you take, with each route including a beautiful waterfall. 90 minutes to the east to Jackson/GTNP/then South Gate in YNP (2 routes-- the mountain pass or the easy Snake River route), and 90 minutes to the north to West Yellowstone/Yellowstone West Gate (2 steep mountain passes). Sleepy Hammock Canyon Land

19 acres, smack dab in the middle of nowhere! It has the beautiful green canyon on its western edge and steveco farms surrounding it. The canyon is steep and wild animals may be present so caution is advised. Cell service is hit and miss which I love this creates forced family fun and gets everyone off of there mobile devices.

Peaceful Pines

This is a beautiful peaceful place where I like to go to spend time away from the noise of the world and recharge and enjoy all the things of nature, float and fish the river and lakes walk through the trees and wild flowers. It is close to West Yellowstone and Yellowstone National Park. This land has been in my family for nearly 50 years and my parents wanted to keep it in a primitive state but we will be adding a few updates in the coming yearsLearn more about this land:(#1)From Ashton Idaho follow  Highway 20 about 30 miles to Yale-Kilgore Rd,(#2)From W.Yellowstone it is about 26 miles to Elk Creek #1 take a left turn and #2 a right turn follow this road until you cross McRae bridge then continue to a right turn onto Yale Creek Road then left at the split in the road onto Hotel Creek then right on S. Beaver Springs Rd. then a right on Glen tree Road continue along Glen tree and take a left on Wooded Ln, up this lane approximately 2 to 3 blocks the property is on the right marked with orange fence posts,  it is a primitive camp site horse shoe around a fire pit. Please don’t burn garbage or cut down any trees. The road is very bumpy please take it slow. 4166 Wooded Ln.

The road is rough so take it slow but we have had an Audi a Toyota Celica on the property so please just take it slow and you can make it to the campsite, it is on private property not serviced by the Forest Service thank you

CLOSE TO YELLOWSTONE NP! 
This is a great spot with easy access to all the outdoor recreation that Island Park offers.  A convenient 30-minute drive to the west entrance of Yellowstone National Park. 
A quick 10-minute drive to enjoy the beautiful day hikes of Harriman State Park.  You can also hike directly from Camp Steelhead on the old historic rail grade and enjoy the views of the majestic Buffalo River.
Enjoy a quiet camping area with the convenience of power hookups for your RV (30 amp) or just plug in your phone to the 110 outlets if you are tent camping. 
Close proximity to Highway 20 and easy access to services and dining.   
One RV/Trailer per campsite. 
Camp Steelhead is located within the beautiful Yellowstone Ecosystem.  While we have not had any problems with wildlife. We ask that campers store food properly to avoid any issues. Yellowstone does not have a fence around it.  Animals wander all through the area.
