Our large campsites will never leave you with concerns about invading the space neighboring campers. Many of our guest are content with watching the river roll by without hearing the noise of automobiles or emergency vehicles. They have been around 50 years and their systems were clear and my orientation was lovely and complete. The land is really happy and magical. If you’re going to the swamp to kayak, this is a great location. It is right across from the National Wildlife Refuge entry. I stayed in the most basic cabin, whites just two beds, a mini fridge, microwave, fire pit, and small screened porch. Cabin is the size of a bedroom, basically. Communal shower and bathroom was satisfactory for a camping experience. Don’t expect hotel quality in the bathroom, that’s not what this is about. Charlene, a caretaker, was kind and helpful. I stayed her with my adult son. Perfect for two people. We brought a portable grill to make our own food and also went to Folkston for one dinner. It is quiet and family friendly. The swamp is an amazing natural wonder.

This camp site was good for us. Quiet and right off 95. There is a business next door but all you experience is a fence and far away buildings.... no problem. Would i return? sure - for overnight it was perfect.

Beautiful property, and wonderful hosts. It was well worth the detour off of I95, to stay at Deep Bend. We are still. Sorry of new to the RV life, but this has been my favorite HipCamp so far, and I would definitely recommend it. I'm pretty sure we'll stay there again at some point in the future.

This was our second time here and it was once again, excellent! Full hookups, easy to get in and out, so peaceful and just overall a wonderful stay! The camp host Kathy was super helpful showed us right to our site and also lent us tools to fix our broken mirror. We will absolutely be back!!!

I love camping here and hope to have a longer stay in the future. The campground is clean and well maintained. It was so quiet and dark...just how we like it. I know weekends are active here, but our midweek stay was perfect.

Lots were good size, all connections were in good working order. Swim at your own risk posted, so that was the only issue. And fishing would be great if you have a boat. Ron and his wife were very courteous and friendly. Nice people.
