And 30 amp hookups with excellent quality well water included. Class A, B and C Rvs and vehicle campers are welcome, we have enough electrical hookups and water for all. Portable fire pit and wood are available too. Outdoor fire area also available next to one space. Plus free range eggs are also available. Supermarket is just 4 miles away. Edenhope Farms is nestled on 6 acres and is a sanctuary for rescued and unique animals. We have a Zebu bull, which are the oldest recorded bovine in history, dating back to the Bible. We have goats and peacocks, chickens, a potbellied pig, rescued squirrels, and rescued ducks. Soon to come.... Sheep!!! My property used to be the disposal site for the CocaCola bottling Company. Go on a scavenger hunt and find old bottles. Relax around the fire pit and listen to owls, wild geese, bull frogs and the Quack Pack. Lounge on the spacious deck overlooking all the farm animals or take a dip in the swimming pool. At night grill on the BBQ or have an oyster roast. We do have an indoor toilet for you to use and an outdoor shower. Go for a walk through the woods, do yoga, head to Hunting Island beach which is 10 miles or drive 3 miles to historic downtown Beaufort. We are also close to Parris Island and many other historical sites. While here you can enjoy historical tours of Beaufort County’s earliest years of the Santa Helena colony in the mid 1600’s, the revolutionary war period, the pre-civil war and plantation time period and the antebellum, reconstruction history up to the Civil Rights visits of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. at the Historic Penn Center. The Lowcountry is great for water sports, kayaking, boating, jet skiing, sailing, hiking and canoeing. Each season offers an opportunity to participate in fishing, crabbing, shrimping or digging for oysters in local waters. Our area is a favorite of cyclist groups, the long, flat, rural, scenic, roads offer pleasant riding experiences for cyclist of all ability levels. There are bike lanes on many of the major roads. Other recreational activities in our area are geocaching, horseback riding, tennis, golf, hiking, beach volleyball, beachcombing, and birdwatching. There are a few special events throughout the year, Gullah Festival-May, Water Festival-July, Shrimp Festival-October, Beaufort Food Truck Festival-October, Soft Shell Crab Festival-April, Pat Conroy Festival-November, Heritage Days Festival-November, Night on the Town-December. My family stayed two nights at the magnolia site. The site was clean and tent safe, we didn't need a tarp to protect the bottom from small brush or rocks. There was a nice camping toilet that was clean and right on site. Only interacted with host to buy eggs for breakfast but that was our choice, the host was friendly and I'm sure wouldn't mind more interaction if a camper needed it. Love the fact that they are a small farm providing non commercial goods to their community. We felt safe and secure in this site. Remember that this is a working farm and there will be farm noises. Thank you for hosting us.

We enjoyed our stay at Belinda's farm! The owners were very pleasant and the animals were enjoyable to watch. The site was large, away from the home, and a perfect getaway. We rode bikes about 30+ minutes to the beach (along the highway and across the bridge) to the state park and had a wonderful beach day! There are several local restaurants and activities for things to do. Overall, easy site, flat, large, all amenities as stated. Thank you for Belinda and Tony for the opportunity to get away! We enjoyed meeting you and your animals!

We had a wonderful stay at Belinda and Tony’s campsite! The site itself was private, clean, and felt very safe, and had a convenient bathroom tent. Plenty of space, picnic table, and a fire pit. Before we departed we got the farm tour and fresh breakfast. The hosts were very welcoming, and it was cool to hear all history of the land. My favorite part was all the animals - so many farm birds, and a very friendly cat, Mimi. We’d definitely stay again if we’re ever in the area. Thank you!!

Directions were easy to follow and campsite was easy to find. Belinda's husband, Tony, stopped by as we were getting settled in to make sure we were all set. The mosquitoes left us alone after we got a fire started. We could here a rooster nearby in the morning, but otherwise very quiet and peaceful! We would definitely stay again and check out the area.

We only stayed a short while on Belinda’s property, but from what we saw, the place was perfect for our needs! Instructions to get there were very easy and simple to follow, and Belinda’s husband even showed us how to use the toilet at our campsite. The night was super peaceful and quiet with the occasional honk or quack from nearby fowl, which I personally loved! Would definitely stay again and recommend to others!

Weekend Trip to EDENHOPE FARMS

If only there were room, I’d leave a review for every detail. Cynthia’s property is gorgeous and the camping site was isolated enough that we truly felt like we were camping in the woods which is exactly what we’d hoped for. Our Hostess was MORE than accommodating and even gave us an educational tour of Eden Farms. We saw baby ducks and chickens and even some baby peacocks! We saw the full grown peacocks too and they were magnificent. Yes, the rooster crows, and yes Elvis the peacock very proudly sang his tunes, but we were so happy just to enjoy the nature and the whole rest of the experience that hearing a few birds just made it feel that much more real. To top off the experience, we took home some eggs and honey fresh from the farm. It truly was magical. If you’re looking for a good, salt of the Earth experience, you HAVE to see this place! Also, if you’re interested in homesteading, Cynthia has SO many tips and tricks and the ingenuity of Eden Farms is 💯 worth learning about. I seriously cannot wait to visit again. Thank you Cynthia! ♥️

I loved tent camping here! Me, a buddy, and my doggo camped under the trees here for 2 nights. The place is great and well taken care of and the host Lorine was a dream Super Host! She let us use her spring water to top off our containers, sprayed the grounds with anti-bug spray, and checked on us occasionally to make sure we needed anything while also giving us a tour of her grounds! Loved sharing stories with you Lorine! Will definitely be back here again.

Where to go

Coastal Georgia

There are several islands near Tybee Island where you can camp overnight. Just south, Little Tybee Island offers a truly primitive camping experience. Accessible only by boat or kayak, there are no facilities but campers can pitch a tent anywhere on the island. At Skidaway Island State Park, explore maritime forests and salt marshes then spend the night under Spanish moss and live oaks. Nearby Fort McAllister State Park offers Civil War historic sites, along with outdoor recreation and birding. Stay in a tent or RV at the campground, in a cottage, or head out into the backcountry to pitch a tent.

Inland Georgia

Head west and inland for city charms and more diverse geography. Private camping options let you stay in tents, RVs, or cabins near Savannah. Georgia’s oldest city is full of southern charm, ghost stories, and historic sites. Further west, Jack Hills State Park offers golf, a lake, and a campground that includes tent sites for tents and RVs and cabins. Go paddling or wildlife spotting at George L.
