We loved tent camping at Little River Adventure Center. Access to a shower (during seasons where pipes won’t freeze) is something we aren’t used to, but warmly welcome! We feel like the sites offer a good amount of privacy especially if you get the first pick. We chose the very last site and it’s definitely the most secluded, and the easement allowed great stargazing. Great hiking access to DeSoto State Park and Little River Canyon. We also drove 45 minutes over to Cloudland Canyon which was another great park to hike.

Great site, very nice well appointed pitch areas that are all individually secluded, you could choose from wooded or non wooded areas, there is also a cool nature trial that runs around the large property, if you like motorcycle trail riding you can actually rent 250cc trail bikes on site, these can be used for riding the extensive trails very close by to take you to some stunning scenic areas. You are also situated very close to a beautiful 11 mile scenic byway with several vista points. This area would be great all year round especially in the Autumn. Also a great little shower and bath house, with more showers being installed and planned. Giorgio and his Wife Tiffany are very kind and gracious hosts.

Giorgio and Little River Adventure Company are the absolute best!! Giorgio has a beautiful piece of property. The camp sites are well maintained and very spacious. We stayed in a deluxe site with a fire ring and picnic table. The little bath house was an awesome bonus with hot water! There is a short trail on the property than follows a nice little creak. Giorgio also has fire wood for sale. The property is very close to all kinds of things to do in Little River Canyon and DeSoto State Park. We will definitely be back. Thank you Giorgio!!

We loved our stay at Campsite #5! The driveway was no problem at all for our Subaru hatchback (thanks to Teo for reassuring us). This was our 5-year-old’s first camping trip and he had a blast. The site was great, close to Benton Falls and a beautiful scenic drive. The only downside was the porta potty, which could use more frequent cleaning, but otherwise everything was wonderful. Highway noise was there but didn’t bother us since we use sound machines. For the price, this was an amazing experience—we’ll definitely be back!

Everything at this place was very clean and well thought out. We really enjoyed our time here. We both had high expectations coming into our stay because of the reviews but Deer Camp exceeded all of them! Truly the perfect middle ground of wanting to “stay in the outdoors” with all of the luxuries of a well done AirBNB. There are lots of hiking trails nearby which was nice too. We brought our dog and the hosts were even nice enough to have a treat bag waiting for him upon arrival. We only stayed for the weekend but I wish we booked for longer. Have already recommended to family and friends!

There were many great spots spots to choose from here. lots of places to hang hammocks even some spots right on the creek. There were several trails on the property to expore. **Please note the address is 9665 SR 50, Pelham, TN 37301** The best part about this site are the views! Relax on the side of the Cumberland Plateau while overlooking Burroughs Cove and the Elk River. You can see the camp sites from the main road, so there will be some road noise. Sites 1/2 are hard/large graveled, tent camping will be very challenging, heavy duty tent stakes are highly recommended with mats/padding. There is an electrical box at each end of the hard graveled parking areas (Sites 1 and 2) with 20- and 30-amp plugs, plus 110v. If the power is not working, please check the panel and turn on/reset the breakers, many of our guests turn them off when departing. If you are at Site #2 and the steps above do not work, please check/do the same at the Site #1 panel (it is the master power source). Water is NOT available on site. NOTE: Depending on the time of year (warmer months only) a water container with a limited amount of NON-POTABLE water is on site for your use. Please plan on filling your water reservoir(s) PRIOR to arriving. There is an outhouse for all guests, picnic tables and fire rings for Sites 1 and 2. The camping area is fairly close to SR-50 so please expect to hear some road noise, more so in the winter months. The entrance/driveway is on a small incline, if you are traveling in a light vehicle and a heavy camper, it's best to maintain a slow and steady speed to the camp site (for almost everyone, this is not an issue). If you are towing a camper, we recommend the total length of the vehicle and the trailer not exceeding 30ft, There is not a significant place to "turn around" at the sites and novice drivers (not used to backing out of tight spots with longer rigs) may find this very challenging. There is a double gate that is usually closed, and latched so it stays closed, it is not "locked". The site is self-serve (not manned), Site #1 is to the left, Site #2 is to the right, and Site #3 is down the path past the outhouse at the bottom of the path. It is recommended that campers set up early for Site 3 (still daylight) to get an idea of the layout. Parking for Site #3 is by the shed at the main entrance and power is not available at the site.
