We love this 'barndo" and hope you do as well!Enjoy your stay,Learn more about this land:Welcome to our "barndo" at Rustic Pines!- We purchased this barndo and completely renovated it in 2021- It is surrounded by woods, sits on 5 acres and is located 10 minutes from I-75 and the Georgia National Fairgrounds in Perry.- It has 1250 sq ft of living space, and plenty of outdoor space-We have high speed internet, smart TV's and Dish Network in every room- There is 1 accessible queen bedroom and bathroom downstairs, and a queen bed , queen sofa bed and bathroom upstairs.-We have a fully stocked kitchen with a coffee maker, Keurig, French press, pour over , coffee grinder and tea kettle. We have a starter supply of teas and coffee.- There is a "mudroom" to store your boots, hunting gear, horse tack etc- The "Cook Shack" has a charcoal grill, fridge, sink, ring toss games and TV.Important things to know before you book:- You will need to provide Airbnb with your government ID before booking your stay, for your protection as well as ours.- Children are welcome , but please be aware that our place may not be suitable for young children.- You must be 25 years of age or older to book this property.- We do not allow any events or parties.-For your safety and ours, we have 3 security cameras. They are located on the front porch, garage and 1 directed at the driveway.- Although the barndo is in the country , it is located on GA-224 and you will hear cars going by.-Cell service is very spotty, but we have excellent WIFI.- The barndo is surrounded by woods, so keep an eye out for insects, snakes and lizards.- Bugs are not associated with cleanliness issues and occasionally come in from the outside. We do routine pest control. As long as you keep all the doors and windows shut, it will be more difficult for them to get inside. We are unable to offer any guarantee against or refunds for an occasional bug in the house.#countryliving-We are not responsible for any lost or stolen items, but will do our best to reunite forgotten items with our guests.- We have used a lot of reclaimed wood so be aware that some of the wood isn't smooth and you will get splinters if you "rub" it.We want you to enjoy every minute of your stay and hope you feel the love that we have poured into this place.There is a 1 car garage that you are welcome to use.

We are an Arabian Horse Discovery Farm which trains horses and riders to show in many different riding styles expressing the versatility of the Arabian horse! The back of our farm runs along the Echeconnee Creek which was once inhabited by Native Americans. We have found many arrow and spearheads here and we are just 20 minutes from the Ocmulgee Indian Mounds where they host a festival each September. BRING YOUR HORSES TO RIDE THE TRAILS! The Echeconnee swamp is home to Blue Herons, Snowy Egrets and Bald Eagles among many other species of Wildlife. Our 86 acres of lush shady Bridle paths wind along the creek with tributaries to splash through on hot days. Enjoy the flora and fauna of Georgia's rich bottom lands and huge virgin hardwoods. Mushroom hunters PARADISE with golden Chanterelles, Lions Mane and Oyster mushrooms are abundant! Feel free to harvest whatever the land provides as a perk for your stay! For the ghost hunters~ many boarders and neighbors have seen a floating lady in a long white dress.. we call her the "white witch". She has always felt friendly. Often when traversing the trails at night we have found areas with severe temperature drops. We are far enough away from town to have spectacular viewing of stars and planets for the astronomy buffs! Experience the life on an Arabian show horse facility for a few days! We have 20 am electrical hook up, hot and cold water in the horses wash racks. a public restroom with sink/toilet. We have a charcoal grill, and a fire pit. Feel free to gather wood from anywhere on the property for the fire pit. Bring charcoal lighter to get the fire going unless you are a primitive survivalist. WE ALSO HAVE A PLAYGROUND FOR SMALL CHILDREN! We do NOT have a public shower but the Love's station is 3 miles away and they have several super nice showers available at their truck stop! The barn lounge has a full size fridge and microwave, ceiling fan for relaxing and watching the lessons and horse training! Sign up for a few lessons while you are here! (when an instructor has an opening, must book in advance) Bring your own horses and ride the trails! **warning** there are a few weeks mid summer in the South when the deer flies are swarming and the trails are not good for riding horses! Meet our beautiful Friesian stallion! INCREDIBLE photo ops! We have huge open spaces for turning large RV's and horse trailers with living quarters around and many huge shade trees to park under. WE DO NOT HAVE 30amp electrical hook ups but have had many large RV's turn off their hot water heaters and use propane on their fridges and the 20 amp circuit was plenty to power the rest of their RV. Fiber optic wifi coming March 8th 2024 for better wifi service!
