As a family who has towed campers across the US a couple times utilizing Hip Camp we know others will appreciate the ease of pulling into our little 1 acre urban oasis just a couple miles off the interstate in Floridas Coolest City.
It’s an ideal location to explore St Pete as we are right between the beaches and downtown (5 miles to St Pete beach, 4 miles to downtown -$10 Uber ride), Sarasota and/or Tampa. Ours is an urban spot based on ease, safety and location, not a wilderness "experience"
We have a paved circular driveway overlooking our beehives, henhouse and seasonal garden where you’ll find a table with chairs and plenty of space to cookout and enjoy a quiet evening with a great sunset by the blowing bamboo.
This is one of South St Pete’s oldest neighborhoods- it surrounds an active former PGA golf course and lively country club. It’s a great place for safely biking or walking with green spaces, tennis courts, playgrounds and dog parks nearby.
There are many owls, raptors, green parrots, purple martins and osprey overhead as we’re just a few blocks from the beautiful Boyd Hill Nature Preserve. - not to be missed!
The Pinellas Trail is just a short bike ride away too and can lead you to downtown. It is a cyclists favorite!

A past recipient of the National "Neighborhood of the Year" award, Historic Kenwood is located adjacent to the vibrant Grand Central District in sunny St. Pete. Our neighborhood is designated as an artist enclave, so please enjoy walking around the neighborhood to check out the historic craftsman homes (ours is 100 years old), murals by local artists, and diverse finials atop the street signs.
We are private residence in St. Pete offering FULL hookups (50amp electric, water, sewer). We are located on a corner lot and our RV site is on our side-yard between our house and detached garage.
The house is walkable (~20 minutes), or easily bikeable or drivable to restaurants, bars, coffee shops, and stores in the Grand Central district of downtown St. Pete, and a few minutes further from the other downtown districts. We are about a 20 minute drive to St. Pete Beach.
Animals: There are two white stray cats that occasionally hang out in our backyard. We have 2 miniature schnauzers, but will discuss first with you before letting them in the yard during your stay.
Backyard: The backyard is fully-fenced for privacy. If you are bringing a pet, they are welcome to roam in the yard while supervised.
Arrival: Please message me with your expected arrival time no later than the morning of your arrival date. I will greet you and give you a brief tour. I'm happy to make any recommendations of things to do, places to eat. etc. Self-check in is also possible. Please detach toad prior to parking and please park on the street where permitted.
Check out time is flexible, depending on calendar.

The maximum RV size allowed is a 36 ft fifth wheel, 30 ft pull-behind, or 36 ft motorcoach. Must be able to back in.
*Additional parking allowed for 1 vehicle in addition to the RV.
Water and sewer are included; electricity is billed monthly. We offer 30-amp and 110-volt hookups.

Bill is the best host! This spot has it all. Its on a dead end that has a boardwalk to the beach. The sunsets are perfect. There is a ice cream shop next door and a circle k a block away. Walking distance to restaurants. Britts pizza is awesome. They have a dj that also sings requested songs on the outside patio. Service was great. The Pics on the site dont do it justice. This place has a swimming pool and 2 outside showers. Bill is remodeling the houses that you park at. You wont hear any remodeling sounds. Bills spot is one of 5 spots we have stayed at while on our vacation and if I had known about this 1st it would of been the only spot we stayed. Warning use sunblock on the beach!!!!

We couldn't be happier to have found this gem! Literally steps from the beach! Also steps from the shake shop which we also recommend😁Bill met us on arrival and showed us around. We were so glad to have access to the pool and outdoor shower, making this more than a typical hipcamp parking spot. You could see how hard he has worked to make it a welcoming place for all his guests. Hoping to someday gather the family and rent out the units he has been working on getting ready to rent out. We will literally work out our next visit to Florida around this spot! Thanks so much for a wonderful stay!

Loved it! Really beautiful and well maintained yard and home. We stayed at the henhouse and our cats loved watching the chickens.
It felt very private because of all of the plants even though it’s on a corner lot.
Very quiet and safe neighborhood, little to no road noise at night.
We ubered to downtown and it was about $10-20. There is a free trolley that goes around downtown.
We also loved fort de Soto park 20min other direction.
Got good solar and Starlink connection.

Safe and clean place to park for the night, with a very well-maintained driveway. There’s space to set up a folding chair on the grass and enjoy your morning coffee while watching the hens in the nearby enclosure. No rooster to wake you up too early :)
Communication with the host was fast and friendly. I stayed here with a converted van about 22 feet long and had no issues at all. Highly recommended for a safe, peaceful, and relaxing stop during your travels.

Excellent in town spot to set up. We stayed here for almost a full week as we were visiting family in Tarpon. Location was surprisingly quiet for being a neighborhood setting, easy access right off 19. Very level and the hook ups worked perfectly. The space accommodated our 20ft travel trailer and tow vehicle easily, courtyard area is perfect for lounging, drinking coffee or just enjoying the weather. Host was very responsive and provided an excellent welcome/instruction message prior to us getting there. Highly recommend this spot. We will be utilizing this space anytime we come into Tarpon. Thank you for a great experience! Also check out Queens Pizza and restaurant at the end of the street (2 minute walk). Great pizza and service.
