Location, location, location -- Welcome to Historic Kenwood! A past recipient of the National "Neighborhood of the Year" award, Historic Kenwood is located adjacent to the vibrant Grand Central District in sunny St. Pete. Our neighborhood is designated as an artist enclave, so please enjoy walking around the neighborhood to check out the historic craftsman homes (ours is 100 years old), murals by local artists, and diverse finials atop the street signs. We are private residence in St. Pete offering FULL hookups (50amp electric, water, sewer). We are located on a corner lot and our RV site is on our side-yard between our house and detached garage. The house is walkable (~20 minutes), or easily bikeable or drivable to restaurants, bars, coffee shops, and stores in the Grand Central district of downtown St. Pete, and a few minutes further from the other downtown districts. We are about a 20 minute drive to St. Pete Beach. Animals: There are two white stray cats that occasionally hang out in our backyard. We have 2 miniature schnauzers, but will discuss first with you before letting them in the yard during your stay. Backyard: The backyard is fully-fenced for privacy. If you are bringing a pet, they are welcome to roam in the yard while supervised. Arrival: Please message me with your expected arrival time no later than the morning of your arrival date. I will greet you and give you a brief tour. I'm happy to make any recommendations of things to do, places to eat. etc. Self-check in is also possible. Please detach toad prior to parking and please park on the street where permitted. Check out time is flexible, depending on calendar. About us: We are a couple in our late 30s, after having traveled the country in our 35' travel trailer for nearly 2 years decided to make St. Pete our permanent home. We love to exchange travel stories! The RV site is a flat patch of grass/dirt about 18 feet wide, right behind our 13' foot gate. Your rig will be nestled between our house and detached garage, and shielded from the street by the fence. The space opens up into our backyard on a double lot so you'll have plenty of space to stretch your legs. You're welcome to use any of our outdoor furniture and the solo stove fire pit during your stay. You'll be parked right behind the pictured fence for maximum privacy from the street. Please disregard "acreage" listed. The 50amp electric, water, and sewer hookups are on the "wrong" side if you back in, so pulling straight in is preferred for ease of parking and hooking up. There is a grade up the yard to to the RV site. If you have low-hanging jacks it will be best to pull forward rather than back up. Hookups: Hookups are on the "wrong" side if backed in, but drivers can pull straight in to be on the correct side for hookups. To park, you will need to drive over the curb, onto the lawn and ideally pull straight in. Feel free to use our backyard furniture and firepit. There is a large black trash can in the alley that you may use for trash.
