What a warm and wonderful family to share this experience with. Mandy and Beau welcomed us so genuinely that we honestly forgot we were Hipcampers — it felt like staying with longtime friends. The location is a perfect blend of upscale, peaceful neighborhoods and unbeatable access to the area’s best beaches: Anna Maria, Cortez, Coquina, Holmes, and Bradenton Beach are all just minutes away, with easy walks to the shoreline and nearby fishing piers. The calm, clear water and soft white sand make it ideal for families with kids.
Within just a few miles you’ll find a golf country club, a sports complex, and a full shopping area with Publix and Target. And truly, you don’t need to bring a thing — the RV is spotless, thoughtfully organized, fully stocked with EVERYTHING, and spacious enough for the whole family.

Loved our hosts. They were very responsive to requests and troubleshooting. Loved being able to hang out with their family as our dogs played. Camper was well equipped with we could possibly need- in the camper and for going to the beach. They provided dog bowls and a dog mat for us to use. Their son was sweet and very respectful and polite. Loved meeting some of his friends as well
The Neil had many young children that played outside. Neighborhood was safe and relatively quiet outside of work hours when leaving for work.

Mandy and Beau were such gracious and welcoming hosts. They ensured that we had everything we needed and were very responsive. The space was clean, stocked with kitchen necessities, and well maintained. The area was stellar as it is a short drive to the beach and has a cute downtown area with plenty of dining options. Check in was quick and easy at the entrance, we were escorted to our site, and the accommodations for us and our pets were excellent. The trailer was clean and well equipped, including kitchen equipment, fresh towels, and linens. The WiFi worked well, and there was a good selection of cable channels on tv. There was such a large choice of amenities in the park that most people could stay busy. There is an indoor and outdoor pool, fitness center, activities throughout the day, and walking trails all over the park. Additionally there is an on site restaurant next to the pool to pick up a quick meal. Would definitely stay there again. Check out was a simple task of dropping off the key.

Great spot on the water. U can fossil right there or rent a canoe for $50 to get around. Beautiful oaks every where. There is a community area u can cook at with big fireplace. We stayed in the tiny house because I hurt my back. The kids stayed in loft and wife and I tried sofa bed. Don't do it. We ended up putting cushions on floor and slept. Great place I would just stay in tent next time.unless it's summer. The tiny house has a. I will go again

Kelli’s land truly exceeded my expectations. What stood out the most was how peaceful and spacious everything felt. The little house and the entire property have beautiful details that reflect so much love in every corner. Each outdoor space welcomed me with a deep sense of peace, connection to nature, and the silence I was looking for.
Kelli was incredibly kind and attentive, always checking in to make sure we had everything we needed and that we were comfortable. And the fresh eggs she brought us were absolutely delicious.

This was a great experience for my boyfriend and I. As a nurse i prioritize peace and self care off the clock.....this property was definitely peaceful in a surrounding of nature that influences self care. Dawns land was full of greenery, she organized rental spaces to prioritize privacy. Our rental space was clean and organized. Easily to become a romantic setting for any couple. Bathroom was very clean and cute! Dawn herself was a welcoming and down to earth personality, which is refreshing. So detailed with around the area activities and food. We did not get to use the hot tub (we forgot about it) but I can garentee that would've been just as impressive. I plan to rent again! Thanks Dawn!!!!♡

Weekend Trip to N N Farms
We had a fantastic time staying at this lovely tony house as our base for a weekend of camping and adventures. We loved that we could enjoy the wilderness during the day and return to exactly what we needed to relax after a long day outdoors. A wonderful firepit and beautiful sunsets.
The property was clean, comfortable, and the host Kelli was easy to communicate with. Lots of privacy. We had a blast feeding the goats in the property. I would highly recommend staying here. I surely will be on my next trip to Arcadia!

We loved every second! The hosts were fantastic. Make sure we were comfortable in our tiny house. We were pleased enough to make sure that they knew that we would be back! We even left them a business card for them to call us. What a great place. Would highly recommend. Much work was put into a communal fire pit, and cooking area. Absolutely wonderful!

Maria’s tiny home was perfect. Everything we needed was there. It was close to many sights, shopping and restaurants. Highly recommend if you are looking for the glamping experience around Bradenton, consider this tiny home. Only downside was our GPS took us to an old route, but we were able to get back on track. So if your GPS takes you to Chateau Ln Way, don’t take it, the correct street is 3rd St W.

Camp Champ is a fantastic place in the woods. Super peaceful, the host was just great, and they leave you alone but are instantly available for any queries. Facilities are rustic and basic but all you need from the flush toilet and hot shower, to cooking equipment and ac. Surprisingly few mosquitoes or any other kind of annoying bugs. The river at Camp Champ was a bit high due to recent rains so we had to go to nearby parks to look for shark teeth. Good value for money. Thank you April!

Tiny Treasures was a blast! Had everything we needed for a family of 5. Definitely would book again. Neighbors were friendly. Host was responsive and checked in to make sure our stay was exceptional. Where to go
Terra Ceia Preserve State Park
Just 12 minutes north of Palmetto, sandwiched between Terra Ceia Bay and Tampa Bay, Terra Ceia Preserve State Park is a sanctuary for wildlife. Campers who love to birdwatch wil find blue herons, white ibis, bald eagles, and spoonbills. The park offers nine miles of hiking trails and year-round fishing (with a license) in Terra Ceia Bay. Magical and mysterious mangrove forests hang over creeks and streams, perfect for paddling through natural tunnels created by their drooping branches and rising roots. Bishop Harbor Road and Stotz Road feature boat, canoe, and kayak launches. There’s no camping within the park, but private campsites nearby have tent and RV campsites with hookups and potable water.
Lake Manatee State Park
Though there are no manatees in Lake Manatee, there’s still plenty of camping fun to be had at Lake Manatee State Park. Stay at tent and RV (up to 65 feet) campsites right in the park within walking distance to the beach where pets are welcome to join for sunbathing, swimming, and fishing from land. Campsites with water and electric hookups, a dump station, firepits, and picnic tables can be reserved online up to 11 months in advance. Bike along 2.5 miles of paved biking road, or take it off-road for a mountain biking challenge with bikes available to rent in the park. (Cyclists under 16 need to wear helmets.)
Delnor-Wiggins Pass State Park
Delnor-Wiggins Pass State Park’s claim to fame is a wealth of boating opportunities through Cocohatchee River estuaries leading directly to the Gulf. Explore Turkey Bay by kayak, canoe, or paddleboard, or search for shells on the ADA-accessible beaches with reservable wheelchairs. Or scuba dive and snorkel along Delnor-Wiggins Pass’ hard-bottom reef. Nearby campsites range from RV campsites with 50-amp hookups and wifi to primitive campsites.
When to go
October to March is generally considered camping season in Florida, when dense, muggy air cools in the evening for a more comfortable climate. Summers in Palmetto have an average daily temp above 86°F with hot and mostly cloudy skies. Short winters (from December to February) are cool and windy, rarely rising above 74°F. Florida camping is available year-round, and the ideal time depends on your preferences.
